mark forrer is a photographer/director who's shot all of dnp's tours/promos (recently he did the tit trailer and these pics)
he's also phil's childhood friend from back home (and the one from phil's holiday bragging story)
basically him being in vegas for wwwy could be a total coincidence but also. too many stars are aligning here.
#anon ask#like unless he's coming to the states bc they're gonna film the LA show???? or he has another gig at the festival??#its just. scary.

Thoughts:
THEY KILLED MY GIRL. Opening isn’t great for Austria, but they put Portugal in the kill spot. I know she’s not a favorite to win but COME ON.
France not winning even as an outside chance now. If I am wrong I will be delighted, but also I will let y’all vote on me liveblogging an ep of something I hate if she wins MARK THIS SPACE.
Finland’s gotta be happy with that spot, it’s about the best they could hope for given the draw.
Australia not in a great spot, I would have thought they’d be in a better spot but maybe they didn’t do well in televote, or maybe the stage is going to work different from how I think and this is gonna end up hurting Czechia more than them.
Israel’s spot is FANTASTIC, i think if she lands it they might even top 10, or better.
Croatia’s spot seems to indicate it maybe..placed really high in the televote? We won’t know until after the competition when they release numbers, I’m only going off historical stuff, but still, I’m shocked and pleased!
I’m a big fan of totally random draw run orders for the final because run order DOES make a difference, sometimes a very large one, so I don’t love that producers can set up a winners nudge. BUT, I know “euro neuro” opening pretty much killed that, so I would settle for QUARTER draws instead of half draws. spots 1-7 first quarter 8-13 second quarter 14-20 3rd quarter 21-26 fourth quarter you get it. That still leaves a lot of flexibility for the producers while semi-assigning difficult spots to win from.
EXCITED FOR SATURDAY!!!!!!!

A rundown of the Eurovision finalists from the official Youtube playlist
Apologies for lack of above-letter marks in non-English words/names.
("Peace Peace" is a reference to "Love Love Peace Peace," a legendary Eurovision host song throwing shade at common entry tropes. Highly recommend googling it. Somewhat equivalent to calling a movie Oscar-bait.)
—---------------—
ARMENIA: "Future Lover" - Brunette
Weird little pop song that starts out slow and then gets rap-adjacent. Rumor is that all the lyrics were lifted verbatim from viral social media posts.
ISRAEL: "Unicorn" - Noa Kirel
Bog-standard "I'm special" pop song. Rumor/joke/possible reality: Israel picked a mediocre song to ensure zero chance of hosting next year.
SWEDEN: "Tattoo" - Loreen
A pop song that would be better if the singer wasn't trying to do a weird vocal thing. Hoping the final performance is better than the music video.
FRANCE: "Evidemment" - La Zarra
Techno-pop song that absolutely slaps and has undeniable style. Extremely French. Got stuck in my head. Makes my top 5.
UK: "I Wrote A Song" - Mae Muller
Solid breakup pop song that definitely got stuck in my head. Upper tier but not top tier. Would love to see it do well in on US charts.
AUSTRIA: "Who The Hell Is Edgar?" - Teya & Salena
Quality techno-dance song elevated to Eurovision levels by lyrics about being possessed by E.A. Poe. Music video is perfection. Makes my top 5.
CZECHIA: "My Sister's Crown" - Vesna
Strong women-empowerment song elevated to Eurovision levels by a bizarre music video. Looking forward to how it'll translate to the stage.
SERBIA: "Samo Mi Se Spava" - Luke Black
Classic Eurovision goth vampire, this year trapped in a video game boss fight. Only downside is the singer's weird breathy almost-singing.
NETHERLANDS: "Burning Daylight" - Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper
Sad ballad about depression. Uncomfortably accurate feels, but too slow and sad for Eurovision.
ITALY: "Due Vite" - Marco Mengoni
Solo ballad in Italian, nothing visually interesting, very meh.
FINLAND: "Cha Cha Cha" - Kaarija
Frantic rock song about getting drunk in a club with epic music video of singer in a WWE-style fight. Very Eurovision, strong contender.
CROATIA: "Mama SC!" - Let 3
100% BONKERS rock song that never mentions names but is undeniably a "f*** Putin" anthem. Includes middle-aged men in drag. A must-watch. Makes my top 5.
PORTUGAL: "Ai Coracao" - Mimicat
Peppy fun little pop song with a peppy fun little dance number.
AUSTRALIA: "Promise" - Voyager
Australia still hasn't quite figured out what Eurovision is about. Decent alt-rock song but way too mainstream and polished for this rodeo.
SPAIN: "EAEA" - Blanca Paloma
Poignant Middle-Eastern style song about a mother's pain. Not sure what to make of this one, but recommend giving it a try.
GEORGIA: "Echo" - Iru
Standard pop song with standard "big fans and lots of flowy fabric" music video. Meh.
LITHUANIA: "Stay" - Monika Linkyte
Might've been a decent ballad about … trauma, maybe? … but performance is uninteresting and music sounds a little off.
SLOVENIA: "Carpe Diem" - Joker Out
Boilerplate party anthem with a music video about a party in a hotel.
UKRAINE: "Heart of Steel" - TVORCHI
Male duo aims for that specific "I'm a boss" style (I personally associate with US rappers) and falls short IMO. Feels disjointed.
SWITZERLAND: "Watergun" - Remo Forrer
"Peace Peace" ballad morning boys fighting in wars. Meh.
ROMANIA: "D.G.T (Off And On)" - Theodor Andrei
A song that can't seem to decide what genre it wants to be or what it wants to say, but it definitely wants to sing it in bondage/fetish clothing.
AZERBAIJAN: "Tell Me More" - TuralTuranX
Low-key pop/ballad that feels out of place in Eurovision, with an awkward hipster boy feel.
GREECE: "What They Say" - Victor Vernicos
Another meh ballad with a sad boy singing in the increasingly intense rain.
POLAND: "Solo" - Blanka
Boilerplate Instagram-girl pop song. Nomination caused outcries of corruption, and if you watch her performance in the Poland national finals you'll agree.
ALBANIA: "Duje" - Albenia & Familja Kalmendi
Haunting lament, I think about losing children. Solid music, really hope the final performance is visually interesting.
CYPRUS: "Break A Broken Heart" - Andrew Lambrou
Another sad rock ballad, very meh.
MALTA: "Dance (Our Own Party)" - The Busker
Party anthem for people who don't like parties. Fantastic music video and a saxophone riff cherry on top. Makes my top 5.
BELGIUM: "Because Of You" - Gustaph
Great homage to 90's hip-hop with fun dancing. Unfortunately song is a little too forgettable. Bonus points for Supremes-esque choir.
GERMANY: "Blood & Glitter" - Lord of the Lost
German heavy metal in glittery carnival outfits. No idea what's going on here but it's very Eurovision.
IRELAND: "We Are One" - Wild Youth
Beatles-style throwback "Peace Peace" song. Would be unremarkable except for weird glitter masks.
SAN MARINO: "Like An Animal" - Piqued Jacks
Very off-putting rock song meant to evoke animalistic attraction, but the weird lyrics and creepy singer just make it uncomfortable.
MOLDOVA: "Soarele si Luna" - Pasha Parfeni
Rock-style Druid chanting, a Eurovision staple, including a distinctive wooden flute (possibly aping last year's winners?)
ICELAND: "Power" - Dilja
Another girl ballad. Very unmemorable.
DENMARK: "Breaking My Heart" - Reiley
Extreme teen/YA pop star vibes and the music video makes him look even younger. Standard sad breakup pop song.
NORWAY: "Queen Of Kings" - Alessandra
Girl wrote a rock anthem about her YA dystopia self-insert heroine and I'm here for it. Makes my top 5.
ESTONIA: "Bridges" - Alika
I can only describe this as Baby Adele singing not quite "Rolling in the Deep." Solid talent, hope she makes it in the industry.
LATVIA: "Sudden Lights" - Aija
Can't focus on or care about the song when it's playing over a music video that seems to include a cult, an empty pool, and a forced baptism.

Xacto- Meant for who?
Episode 3, Part 2:
Gone
The war raged for 178 hours. One by one, the planetoids fell, crumbling under the weight of destruction. But before the tide turned, Trii and Forr made a desperate move. Their loyal Divisionary Groups were equipped with Mark Forms of Destruction Essence—dangerous, volatile, and given to millions as a final stand. Countermeasures were prepared at the Palace to prevent total catastrophe, but it was clear: this was a last resort.
The TriConContructs branded Incar’s Newarchy as terrorists against the Universal Cause. They launched a massive counterattack, targeting Itter and the territories seized by the Newarchy. But Incar was ready. His trump card—the *Screams*l*—were unleashed.
Across the battlefield, squads of Forrer and Triier soldiers crumbled beneath the onslaught. The Screams moved with terrifying speed and strength, overwhelming the forces who had never been trained for such brutal offensive tactics. What had once been a numbers advantage for the TriCon was now their undoing. The planetoids became hunting grounds, and the Screams—life perfected for war—relentlessly slaughtered all in their path.
Amidst this chaos, whispers reached deep into the hubs of Forrer and Trii. The *Locons*, silent and observant, had heard of the call from Dawander, who had broken free from the chains of subjugation. Seeing their own race take action, Locons across the realm rose up. Sabotage crippled operations, and soon Forrer became a war zone, torn apart by urban battles between loyalists and insurrectionist Locons. The palace of Forr, caught between quelling this rebellion and defending against the advancing Newarchy, was now trapped in a losing siege.
Word spread across the realm of the so-called Prince of Life’s cause. Slowly, the people began to turn against the TriCon. Soldiers deserted, and what had once seemed like an unstoppable army began to crumble. Planetoids fell, one after another, as Divisionary Groups were forced to retreat or surrender. Forrer fell first; Triier, the last.
All the while, the TriConContructs watched from a distance, hidden within their Central Dome. They commanded their forces from the safety of their palace, but it was a losing battle. Itt, kept under temporary arrest, had no say in the attack. And Trii... Trii had made a deadly decision. If all else failed, he would activate the Destruction Essence in a final, catastrophic move.
On the ground, the battle grew ever more brutal. The Scream continued to assimilate the fallen into its grotesque mass, making it clear that it was a fate worse than death. To die in battle meant becoming part of the Scream, a mere addition to its monstrous form. And for what? To protect a cause led by leaders who were hiding behind golden walls, far from the bloodshed?
Soon enough, the call for a general retreat was sounded. The chain bridges connecting the planetoids to the central palace became choke points, filled with retreating soldiers chased by the Newarchy armies. But there was no escape. Trii, in a desperate bid to protect the palace, destroyed the Door Gateways, sealing off any chance of retreat and dooming his own forces.
Then came the final charge.
Incar, resolute and unwavering, led his armies down the grand hall of the palace. They passed the four great walls, nearing the Central Dome, flooding the golden streets. Inside, the ConConstructs and their most loyal followers fought back, but the siege was relentless. Even with the Prime Essence of protection holding the Dome safe, Incar's power—his ability to create essence—allowed him to slowly unravel it, piece by piece.
Itt, ever the mediator, tried once more to reason with her son. But Incar had made his choice long ago. He promised her safety when the walls finally fell, but there was no turning back now.
As the final moments of the siege played out, a new threat emerged.
The *Golden Body of the Prime Instigate*, the being who had once held this world together, made its decision. It created a space where the last of the ConConstruct’s followers could flee. In an instant, the Prime Instigate transformed into a golden ball. Its sharp, brittle tendrils reached out, taking the Prime Essence that held the realm together.
Incar, on the verge of disassembling the Dome, looked up just in time to see the Prime Instigate shoot upward. It tore through the realm’s surface, all the way to the upper cone, creating a massive hole as it fled, creating an entirely new universe as its escape route.
Incar, the Newarchy, and every soul who had fought in the war, watched in awe—and horror—as everything they had struggled for slipped away.
With the Prime Essence stolen, the realm of Editt-Ertt began to fall apart. The surface darkened. Planetoids cracked and eroded into dust, their once vibrant worlds reduced to lifeless chalk.
And so, the realm began to *Decolorize*, the universe Incar had fought so hard to reshape slipping through his grasp, leaving behind only darkness and decay.

Authors note:
-Dawander is indeed a Locon.
-Incar's ability.
Incar has the sentience power to create and design essence if he had Forming Threads, this ability also means that he could disassemble essences that he has known or used. Specially those he created.
-Prime Essence
what are they? Well Prime Essence are unlike normal Essence, the distinction lay with the use. Everything else not considered Prime, does not have its conceptual influence running within the system of the world. Prime Essences are also need to be tied or placed somewhere within the universe to function.
Things that have Prime Essence, Gravity.
Things that have a Prime Essence particular only to a Planetoid. Life.
Prime Essence that runs a universe are greater than those that run a planet. Duh. _.
Creation of Prime Essence!
First, you'll need permission from the Prime Intigate, and he will give you a massive few of his Forming Threads. once made, it shall be placed. The greater the Threads amount, the wider the effect.
. D. Hope you enjoyed. Till the next episode!

No yeah that makes sense! I'm a new driver and I'm too scared to drive 5+ hours on a highway to the closest venue they are playing near me and stay in a hotel, which is why I'm flying much further so I can stay with family 😭 Figuring out travel stuff when you don't live in or close to a city that gets big tours is really so annoying, definitely LA will be more convenient for a lot of people. I know some people are trying to go to SD just to fill the seats, which I appreciate so much but it's like yeah the travel might get weird especially as flight prices might increase the closer we get to the show.
The smart thing for dnp probably would have been to do two nights in LA at a smaller venue, because I know for some people the date is an issue (I've also heard from people going to SD on twitter that there is a Conan Gray concert the same night as the LA show). But I'm assuming they picked the humongous venue in LA because it's built for filming and they may end up taping it there? Especially since Mark Forrer said he is going to be in Vegas on Oct 16/17. So SD maybe made sense as a second night in a smaller theater but not if the LA show literally already is the size of two nights 😭 I'd love to know what their promoters were thinking...
Lowkey doing 3 different shows in California is goofy lol San Diego and LA are too close together and LAX is like a major hub airport so anyone coming from out of town is probably just going to LA :/ looking at flights it would be soo much cheaper for me to fly into LA than San Diego like a nonstop flight is literally half the price.

your fiber art is SO good! "how brutal" and "pity" are two of my faves. do you have any inspirations/influences?
jenny holzer is my biggest painful word art influence, obviously i think, morgan warmsuggestion’s posts and kenan notalkingplz’s art, both of which i’ve been looking at almost daily for like ten years. christina forrer is my biggest tapestry inspiration and i really like subliming.jpg on instagram and pull from their work too. i look at a lot of bauhus art and artists. josef albers... gunta stolz for shapes, mark rothko for just colors and for feelings. i’ve been tucking away painful word tidbits since i was 15 and made a tumblr at 16 to keep track of quotes that hurt my feelings after writing them down in a notebook whenever i found them in books or songs or movies or online... i find inspiration in all of those things people have already expressed, i think about things people have said that hurt me, things i say to hurt myself, things i journal. i look at a lot of art and take screenshots and photos of cool shapes and colors that i can imagine being able to pull inspo from within the limitations of yarn, which is pretty much everything that exists, so i have a huge folder of screenshots on my phone and my laptop and then i have a huge notes folder of words and phrases and sentence fragments that i’ve pulled from a lot of places including my own horrible brain. thank you for being so nice :)
