So in May I started a journey to a better life. I started walking. It started as a walk around the block with Max the Rottweiler. He got tired before I did. It started something I didn’t see. The walks grew each day and weeks. What started as a well let’s see where this goes to I get up every morning check my sugars and head off to find my peace in this world of crazy. Now I’ve had ups and downs in this journey I’ve questioned myself and things around me. Unseen by me I’ve noticed weight loss and most importantly my blood sugars are below the need for insulin. Mind you I can’t walk like normal folks. I need assistance I wear a brace and use a walking stick. I am focused on getting better. It may not be 100% but it’s going be better than where I was.
