Yacht Charters Puerto Vallarta
Marietas Islands Tours
To visit the Marietas Islands and explore the hidden beach, tourists typically join guided tours organized by local tour operators. These tours often depart from nearby towns like Puerto Vallarta or Punta de Mita. The tours usually include boat transportation to the islands, a chance to see the diverse marine life through snorkeling or scuba diving, and the opportunity to relax on the beautiful beaches.
Get Marietas Island Tours at the Best Price - PV Fishing & Sailing
When planning a tour to Marietas Islands, it's essential to choose a responsible and reputable tour operator that follows sustainable tourism practices to preserve the delicate ecosystem of the islands. Always ensure that the tour company you choose complies with all environmental regulations to protect the natural beauty and wildlife of the area.
Keep in mind that tourism information can change over time, so I recommend checking with recent sources and travel agencies to get the most up-to-date information on Marietas Islands tours, available activities, and any potential restrictions or guidelines.
Punta Mita, located in the Mexican state of Nayarit, is a well-known destination for fishing enthusiasts. There are several fishing charter companies in the area that offer a variety of fishing trips and excursions for both beginners and experienced anglers.
Punta Mita fishing charters typically offer half-day or full-day trips, and some may even provide multi-day excursions for more adventurous fishing experiences. The types of fishing you can enjoy in the area include:
Deep-Sea Fishing: Punta Mita is known for its deep-sea fishing opportunities, where you can catch a variety of game fish like marlin, sailfish, tuna, dorado (mahi-mahi), and wahoo.
Inshore Fishing: Closer to the shore, you can try inshore fishing, which targets species like snapper, roosterfish, and jacks.
Fly Fishing: Some charters may offer fly fishing trips, particularly for targeting species like roosterfish and jacks.
When booking a fishing charter in Punta Mita, consider the following:
Research: Look for reputable fishing charter companies with experienced captains and crews who know the local waters well.
Amenities: Check if the charter provides all necessary fishing gear, bait, and tackle. Some may also offer snacks and drinks on board.
Group Size: Inquire about the maximum number of people allowed on the charter to ensure it accommodates your group.
Reviews: Read online reviews and testimonials from previous customers to gauge the charter's quality and customer satisfaction.
Seasons: Different fish species have peak seasons, so consider the time of year you plan to visit for the best chance of catching specific fish.
Rules and Regulations: Ensure that the charter company follows local fishing regulations and practices sustainable fishing.
As with any tourism-related activity, it's a good idea to check for updates and recent information about fishing charters in Punta Mita, especially considering that things might have changed since my last update in September 2021. Look for the most recent reviews and contact the charter companies directly to inquire about their offerings and availability.

Mexico’s State of Nayarit welcomes LGBTQ+ travelers
By Gustavo Rivas-Solis, Guest Contributor
The recipe for a world-class LGBTQ+ destination is simple: All you need are fabulous hotels, beautiful beaches, exquisite dining, electric nightlife, gorgeous scenery and, of course, an inclusive energy. Enter Mexico’s State of Nayarit, a destination that exceeds in these areas and beyond. It’s a place practically tailor-made for LGBTQ+ travel.
In fact, Nayarit has been catching the eyes of LGBTQ+ travelers for a while now. It is one of the many states in Mexico that recognize same-sex marriage and has always been a champion for inclusivity, including a unique Huichol (indigenous) ceremony, with a Marakame (a person who is an intermediate between the living the spirit world) who “unites the souls”.
In 2022, the state’s beaches –also known as the Riviera Nayarit –took home the award for top Beach Destination at the LGBT+ Travel Awards Mexico. The organization recognized Riviera Nayarit for its diversity, inclusion and respect for all.
Nayarit is home to many wonderful cities, beach towns and small villages, all of which are ready to welcome and host LGBTQ+ travelers. From the gorgeous oceanfront resorts and restaurants of Nuevo Nayarit to boutique-heavy bohemian beach towns like Sayulita, the luxury hotspots of Punta Mita, like Thierry Blouet’s Tuna Blanca, and the rugged nature and beautiful wildlife of San Blas, Nayarit has a vibe to fit every style of traveler.
Of course, the LGBTQ+ community is welcome beyond just the beaches in the state of Nayarit. The state capital, Tepic, forexample, has a small but active gay scene, with several gay bars, as well as anannual Pride march held every June.
Among the top draws to Nayarit for LGBTQ+travelers is a lengthy list of luxury hotels, resorts and villas.Punta Mita is one of the top luxury enclaves within the state of Nayarit.
It is home to five-star resorts like St. Regis Punta Mita Resort, the newly opened Naviva by Four Seasons Resort PuntaMita, the new adults-only, 15 glamping suites; and the Susurros del Corazon, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection.
Travelers will also find other resorts along northern Punta de Mita, as well as one of the most robust villa rental portfolios in the country.
More boutique hotel options can be found in between, from the village of Bucerias up through Sayulita, San Pancho, Chacala known for its wellness offering, and San Blas for bird watching.
Nayarit is perfect for the active LGBTQ+ travelers who want to experience more than just sun and sand — though the beaches along the Riviera Nayarit are among the most pristine in Mexico, particularly for surfers. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot thousands of migratory birds in the seaside village of San Blas and Islas Marias, San Pancho, Islas Marietas National Park, a protected park known for its marine life, as well as its birds. Hiking, mountain biking and yoga are also all part of the Nayarit experience.
Visitors can also take their time learning about history and culture. Nayarit has four of Mexico’s famous Pueblos Magicos, or “Magic Towns,” that are recognized for their preserved history, culture and traditions.
Sayulita is arguably the most famous Pueblo Magico in not only Nayarit but all of Mexico, and the state is also home to Compostela, Jala andMexcaltitan. Compostela boasts splendid churches and gorgeous colonial architecture, as well as one of Mexico’s largest bird sanctuaries. The town of Jala sits in the shadow of the Ceboruco volcano, which is a beautiful spot for hiking or watching the sunset. Mexcaltitan is known as the Venice of Mexico, thanks to the canals that form within the streets during the rainy season. The car-free island is splashed with brightly colored houses and features some of the best seafood in Mexico.
The beauty of the state of Nayarit is that it offers a little bit of something for everyone. Every type of traveler, regardless of sexual orientation, has their own style and vibe – and the state of Nayarit has a resort, community and experience to match.

Review Proper
Hey, you guys. Welcome back to my review channel. 😂 This is literally the first BLCD I listened to this year bc I’ve been so lazy and busy. Not that anyone’s asking.
Anyway, umm, wow. Well, this was quite disappointing. I was originally going to sugar coat this, but why would I? That’s not me lol. For what it’s worth, I did enjoy the manga quite a bit, so to find out that the BLCD adaptation turned out like this is such a bummer. This would’ve been a great adaptation, and it would’ve been one of the greatest of last year’s if there was more effort and budget put into it.
Jumping right into the voice work, I did have an issue with both Ono Yuuki and Hamada Kenji having voices too deep for their roles at first. I still believe that Furukawa Makoto and Satou Takuya would’ve been more suited to voice the two. Also, I’m not very familiar with the Kyushu dialect, so that may have been another contributing factor to this. Idk, it just sounded unnatural. But Kansai-ben sounds natural to me? Though Ono Yuuki did grow on me after a while, Hamada Kenji was just...too deep and old for this role. Yo, I’ve had such a crush on his voice ever since and I’m sorry, but I really envisioned Maki-san to be sound like Konishi Katsuyuki’s Takano-san. I mean, don’t you see the similarities??? Konishi Katsuyuki’s Takano-san is deep and sexy, but light and comedic at the same time. I also figure that Takano-san and Maki-san are around the same age, so yeah. First we had Hirarin’s Shige, then Kumagai Kentarou’s Daichi, and now this? Man, the seme casting last year was a little off. 😩 The order I listen to BLCDs majorly depends on how I felt about the manga (if it had one) and if I like the VAs (I usually place works with veteran VAs last), so I’m really starting to regret my order for this log. You don’t really see Hamada Kenji in this industry often, so I was so hyped for this, too. 😩 He would’ve done a great Hishimoto Takafumi, but let’s leave that to Horiuchi Kenyuu. 🤞
This work is supposed comedic, but the BLCD just straight up FAILED to deliver that. My man Ono did his best to get that across, but Hamada Kenji really struggled here. It doesn’t help that there weren’t any sfx were there should have been! It really just sounds like there wasn’t any budget for this adaptation, I mean, look at that cover and that’s sad. Props for Sakai Kodai who voiced Komiya-kun for bringing much needed life into this otherwise disappointingly dull adaptation. This was a definite improvement from his performance in No Color Baby, and I am very much looking forward to seeing how much he has improved since this BLCD because it has been eight months since. He’s around Shimono Hiro range, so I’m sure he’ll be a shoe in for roles in his zone.
As for the pacing, I read the English fan trans, so I can’t exactly vouch for the CD’s loyalty to the manga in its entirety, but it was a bit jumpy and there were some reasonable ad-libs here and there which is fine. It reminds me of Kuro ka Shiro ka’s. It’s not something a beginner should go for, though. I’ve also noticed inconsistencies in the translation of the manga, but since the original was probably confusing, I can understand why it turned out to be like that. I probably would have made the same mistakes myself.
This, despite having a pretty good manga, is sadly one of the worst BLCD adaptations of 2019. I feel like Marine Ent. did the fans and Mita Homuro dirty with this. I’m not sure if they were wholly ready for the adaptation or if they just really didn’t put much thought and effort on this. I wish it was Koi Saku Potager that was given an adaptation with Shingaki Tarusuke as Yui and Itou Kento as Tetsu. Better yet, Taka ga Fukuen with Hamada Kenji as Takehara and Shingaki Tarusuke or Satou Takuya as Amano. But they’ll only adapt the first story like what they did here. 😂
