You know, when they talk about nervousness━ my teacher, Lee Strasberg━ when I said to him, “I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I’m a little nervous,” he said, “When you’re not, give up because nervousness indicates sensitivity.”

"When told she was not the star of the film, Marilyn was quoted as saying: "Well, whatever I am, I AM the blonde.""

Has anyone else noticed that Marilyn tumblr seemed to die a while back? So many great vintage blogs were disappearing (I left too), became inactive or their notes/activity decreased rapidly. Hoping it comes back - it was fun and beautiful.

“There were seventeen thousand soldiers in front of me yelling at the top of their lungs. I stood there smiling at them. It had started snowing, but I felt warm, as if I were standing in the bright sun. I’ve always been frightened by large audiences, but standing in the snowfall facing these shouting soldiers, I felt no fear for the first time. I only felt happy. I felt at home. This is what I’ve always wanted, I guess.”
