Gloria Laino considers her enthusiasm for the arts an inspired gift from God. She stressed the significance of receiving and returning inspiration, which inspired her to pursue positions where she could help others. Gloria's journey finally led her to work in human resources. Twenty years later, at a hotel dinner, she is approached by someone who thanks her for helping them land their first job. This person has subsequently progressed to become the hotel's chef and manager, demonstrating Gloria's motivating act of service.
Gloria believes that acts of love and service have a rippling effect. She understands the importance of her actions in influencing someone else's professional path. The event emphasizes her idea of using her abilities for both personal fulfillment and the development of others' lives. It serves as an uplifting reminder of mentorship's power and long-term influence on individuals and communities.
She emphasizes the connectivity of people's paths and the unexpected ways life might intersect. Despite not remembering the person she assisted, Gloria's inspiring compassion left an indelible imprint that eventually came full circle. It emphasizes the huge motivating impact of insignificant support and encouragement on someone's life path, echoing the notion that no act of kindness is ever wasted.
Gloria highlights the necessity of identifying and using one's talents for the benefit of others. It supports the idea that genuine fulfillment stems not just from personal accomplishment but also from contributing to the prosperity and well-being of others. Gloria exhibits the transformational power of service and mentorship via her artistic path and later job in human resources, leaving a motivating legacy for everyone she meets.

It was my pleasure to be at the Marina del Rey Film Festival screening of "Two Dancers One Love" last Sunday, written by my BFF Gloria Laino, which she also produced and starred in. This is a beautiful piece that has won several awards, and was directed by Denise Blasor. I had the honor of being one of its Associate Producers.
Below my 'Moi' signature is the IMDb where you will see the names of everyone involved, including Producer Marilyn Camacho.
Let's keep supporting each other's projects, Familia!
Besitos,

Music
I donât even know where to start. Music has been my whole life. Iâve always revolved everything, including important decisions in life based on the music I was listening to. If I start from the beginning I can mention my mother was a gigantic music lover.  She raised me to love the Beatles, the Eagles, Elvis, QueenâŠ.But I also grew up loving White Zombie, Slayer, Panera, Rage against the Machine. Music where I didnât even understand the lyrics as I heard them until the point I was loving music where I didnât understand the lyrics until I read them. Despiteâs all of these bands I have listened to, none of them inspired me to write and become my own musician more than Nirvana. I remember being up in the early 2000âs smoking Rogers cigarettes somewhere around the age of 14. The music video came on as tribute for âYou know youâre rightâ and they released Nirvanas greatest hits that year. Through the music I became obsessed. I bought every nirvana album. I listened to every lyric. I read books, listened to audio books. I was inspired and attracted to the life and death of Kurt Cobain. Some point in 2003, I asked my mother to buy me a guitar after about 2 years of having an interest in the drums. (A drummer lived on my block and he was the first musician I ever met, But my mother always said it was too loud.) My mother not only obliged, but she bought me a beautiful red and also piece of shit Ibanez Gio. I played that thing until my fingers bled. When I first heard my mother was dead my first reaction was to sit in the living room, surrounded by paramedics, FDNY people and cops asking me if I was okay while I was attempting to play âSmells like teen spiritâ because I was only 3 months in on playing. Iâll never forget the following morning going to a school I didnât go to but knew everyone (Cause I was homeschooled during high school) and Kenny Klugewicz told me how sorry he was that he heard the news. This kid became one of my best friends even to this day where we still donât talk For months I did nothing but lock myself in the room and teach myself how to really play the guitarâŠ.misguided, bad habit forming, but still a drive to play. I met people as I continued to play. I joined bands, I broadened my sense of music as I continued to play⊠Music has changed my life. Without music there are so many people and friends I never would have made. I was fortunate enough to be able to tour with acts such as Marilyn Manson, play shows with Idols like Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, and meet a few important milestones along the way. To this dayâŠ.I love music. It means so much to me and I always try to broaden my horizons when it comes to listening to music. I continue to write metal and alternative music, buy recording equipment and always long for the day I can share my music with the world. I know I canât sing. But I can write lyrics that will hit people and sting. I write music that can make my emotions known. I know this because I listen to music that does the same for me. I have my angry bands, summer bands, break-up bands. Shit. Iâm listening to Bleeding Through as I write this. Music has always and will always inspire me, and it has come to a point that Iâve hit a road block. My career in the military is not the only thing that holds me back. I start to feel like Iâm afraid to write music. I get unbelievably emotional and not in a rhianna âI start crying because the lyrics are so deepâ kind of way. Itâs different. I always feel like every time I write something a piece of my soul gets ripped away. An actual count of all the music Iâve written song wise is still pretty low but at around 52 or so songs that Iâm aware of most of those are for me. The ones I think that are worth it are shown to anyone. The struggles and bullshit that Iâve gone through is personal and doesnât belong to the rest of the world, but maybe someday people can relate to it. I get excited when I write things I think people would want to hear and released material that still isnât ready, because despite I know it isnât I need to leave something. I love so many people on this earth. I want to share everything with everyone, but music is unbelievably personal to me. It effects my emotions, the way I feel about the day. And I remember when I used to not think like this I listened to metal all day every day, but in December 2015 a Stephanie Camacho said to me âYou listen to all this violent music and I donât get it, youâre such a sweet personâ I didnât realize that the music was effecting my actions, my mood, the way I felt. I always try to remain positive no matter how life goes but music has always inspired me, and continues to do so. Music is so important that Iâm afraid to get engaged again. I find myself drinking and writing, never recording and releasing. I will leave something behind hopefully before I die. Music is powerful. It flows within all of us whether youâre musician or not, but this is the end of my rant. There was no point to this. I just wasted your time. But I had a talk with whiskey tonight and it told me to get some shit out of my head that meant nothing.

NJ election results: Primary election results from Bergen, Morris and Passaic counties
(Photo: Anne-Marie Caruso/NorthJersey.com)
In major races throughout Bergen and Passaic counties, many voters in Tuesdayâs primary election turned away from entrenched incumbents and party favorites. Incumbents lost key races for their partyâs nomination throughout the region.
In Democratic-dominated Englewood and Palisades Park, mayoral primary candidates Michael Wildes and Chris Chung won the Democratic nominations to run for mayor in their towns. Wildes defeated Phil Meisner, who is the Englewood Democratic chairman, and Chung defeated Mayor James Rotundo.
âThis is a victory for the people of this community who said loud and clear that they want to renew Englewood and move our city forward," Wildes, a former mayor of the city, said in a statement. "I thank everyone who supported our campaign and I look forward to working with all residents for the betterment of our city, regardless of who they supported.â
Chung, a Palisades Park councilman, defeated Rotundo by about 100 votes, according to preliminary results. He could become the first Korean-American mayor of the borough.
"It was very exciting. I went out and knocked on every door," Chung said. "The whole community came together, and the hard work paid off. Iâm so happy for the people of Palisades Park. Iâm hoping to a make a better community overall.â
Rotundo refused to concede on Tuesday night.
"Iâm pretty confident I will be victorious at the end of this thing," he said. "I think the voters came out to support me. I think the opposition tried to steal the election by coming in at the primary and not in the general election.â
Saddle River Councilwoman Elizabeth Salazer will not be able to seek reelection. According to preliminary results, the Republican councilwoman placed third in a pool of four candidates vying for two nominations to run for the council.
In East Rutherford, Councilman Jeffrey J. Lahullier also appeared to lose in the boroughâs Republican primary. Councilman George E. Perry received enough votes to go on to the general election, however, and will seek one of two open seats on the Borough Council alongside fellow winner Joel Brizzi.
West Milford Councilman Tim Wagner was ousted in the townshipâs Republican primary in favor of candidates Ada Erik and Marilyn Lichtenberg.
In Bergen County, Republicans Hector Olmo and Eric Kulmala bested two party opponents seeking the nomination to run for two open seats on the Board of Chosen Freeholders. They are running against Democrats Steven Tanelli and Tracy Silna Zur.
Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco will fight to keep his seat in November against Republican challenger Norman Schmelz, who defeated Paul A. Duggan in the Republican primary, according to preliminary results.
