okay i watched migration and derision, since they were out in french! (now i just need to wait for intuition to air, and then i can watch all the rest of the episodes in one go and FINALLY be up to date, after many months...)

migration: a kitty section episode!!! yes!!!!! i’m glad that marinette knows now that luka knows -- i was wondering if it would ever be relevant again. and omg another character yeeted off into the abyss, just like alix was... is this going to keep happening? one by one, are all the characters going to have to leave paris in some way in order to keep everyone safe? i’m happy that luka gets to spend time with jagged now, but i feel bad for juleka! i’m sure she misses him a lot! and kitty section just doesn’t feel the same without him *sighs in french* also JULEROSE CANON AGAIN YES YES YES

derision: marinette’s crush on kim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can’t focus on anything else that happened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FEEL SO ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE USED TO HAVE A CRUSH ON KIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (is this a good time to plug Fresh Start, the marikim fic for all your marikim needs? it’s almost on 1000 kudos huehuehuehe...) also socqueline is lowkey the best character in the show and i would die for her. oh and ondine was back, i love my mermaid girl, i love how she doesn’t let her love for kim stop her from standing up to his idiocy when she needs to. hmm okay i guess i do remember other things that happened in the episode after all but MARINETTE’S CRUSH ON KIM WAS THE IMPORTANT THING

(update, now that i've had time for the episodes to digest: i didn't even like the way the marikim thing was done tbh, or rather, i didn't like how kim's character development seems to have taken a step backwards and he was acting more like his season 1 self. but still, seeing marinette swooning over him was enough to distract me from that because i had wanted that for so long. and i did my years in the trenches of ml fandom, i choose to watch the show casually now and refuse to salt about it. it was an enjoyable episode for me in spite of the things i disliked and that's that!)

give me a few days and i’ll watch the new episodes or whatever is happening. no spoilers here in the meantime

i’m going to lose my mind, school exists. heck.

bunch of school popped up and i’m highkey swamped, BUT I still have most of the chapter mapped out and i can write/edit on weekends and at the end of every day. Chapter 6/7 (depending on how you count) WILL BE OUT BY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!!! If it’s not y’all have permission to like... idk...  send me angry mail. Idk.

I can probably get a goof one-shot out by the 14th as well, but no real promises there...? MariKim 1 should be roughed out and/or finished by the end of February but i’m not sure what my workload is for next month, so again, no promises. I will do my best though i’ve been trying to write it for almost an entire actual IRL year. We’ll see how this goes but updates ARE coming.

Hey guys! So fair warning before chapter 1 of the MariKim fic comes out: it will have some Adrien Salt in it! I'll do my best to tag it as such, but if you dont like reading Adrien salt, I would reccommend against this fic :)

Also: I am Very Uncomfortable writing sexual tension of any kind, so if youte looking for MariKim with that kind of flirting or undertone then in afraid this also isnt the fic for you and would reccommend looking at @lunian 's art, AUs, and writing! Theyre very well-versed in the MariKim world, and their fics/art have a different tone from mine!

So I disappeared for a while...

Greetings.....

Yeah so it's been a while.

Uh..

So life kinda punched me in the throat and kicked me in the teeth at the same time and I completely forgot about Chance, my MariKim draft, and the Ladynette fic. Forgot I had tumblr tbh...

Every time I checked my email like twice a month I would see notifs from Chance AO3 and I wanted to work on it but I was/am(?) Way too busy...

Hehe, 2020 amiright ;) *90s sitcom laughtrack* ....I am so sorry I left you guys hanging with chapter 5 for so long.

To keep the sob story as short and flippant as possible; my aunt died of cancer, my mom went across the country just before my auny died to see her and then attend the funeral, and I had to watch over my younger siblings for the whole time with minimal breaks because my older brother Does Not do well with them and is still in school. I cooked roughly half of the meals during that period, but a bunch of physical and mental health complications arose at the same time and I could barely function so I alternaed between suffering in the kitchen and just sitting on the sofa and trying to keep everyone happy without moving.

It's better than the last apartment though hahah..

So all that to say: I am... Almost kinda maybe sort of back? Mom got home yesterday and I haven't eaten in roughly 18 hours so I'm not entirely sure if I can just... Stop. (Probably not bc Mom is supposed to be taking it easy bc her sister just died and yet she's making food and stuff) but in my breaks I'll work on more personal stuff that I dont wanna get into, Chance, the MariKim fic, Ladynette crack, and attempt to be more active.

I'm not sure how many people are gonna read this but I'll post a semi-update on the next chapter of Chance. Sorry to take up your time I hope you understand.

Are you surprised? Why?

I am surprised that Fresh Start (aka the “Thirstinette” fic lol) is by far the most popular, considering it’s a super rarepair? (Marikim) But then again that ship did get fairly popular for a while, and a certain wonderful someone (cough cough @lunian) drew amazing art for the fic, so I guess that’s why a lot of people read it :D The rest of the most popular ones aren’t really surprising (except the Chlonette one I guess - still no idea why people love it so much skdjfhskdj I really should update it!)

The least popular ones aren’t surprising at all, like obviously the Wii Sports one has the lowest kudos and hit count because who’s reading Wii Sports fanfic lmaoooo. That being said, THE FRESH PRINCE OF PULAU RINTIS IS BY FAR MY FAVOURITE FIC I’VE EVER WRITTEN AND YOU’RE ALL MISSING OUT. I don’t care if you haven’t watched Boboiboy, it’s not like the fic is mega-spoilery. YOU’RE MISSING OUT. IT’S LIKE MISADVENTURES EXCEPT I ACTUALLY LIKE IT. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR YOU HEATHENS
