                         Marietta Edgecombe is a rabbit hearted girl.

She wasn’t always so skittish. At one point, before she escaped the Lovegoods, she was agood girl and a good student. It wasn’t her fault that nobody told her good students weren’t supposed to ask too many questions.

Marietta didn’t mean to be a sneak, a snoop; she just wanted to know all the answers to the things they were supposed to pretend not to know about. Too bad for her that asking those questions landed her on the experiment table as a subject instead.                          So much for honest curiosity. So much for her heart.

Happy Ravenclaw Pride Day!!

"Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,

So in honour of Ravenclaw pride day, I want to write about why it would be wondrous to have a Ravenclaw in your life. And this is not only going to be about how you can profit from having an exceptionally intelligent friend.

We, Ravenclaws are extremely entertaining

Well, as everyone knows — I hope they do — Ravenclaws are very clever. But we are also rather curious about our surroundings and the world. Which makes for an excellent company. We would always notify you about the world, new book and films and basically everything. We, Ravenclaws have so much on our minds, that we will always be delighted to share. With a Ravenclaw, your friendship is likely to be based on deeper, more philosophical conversations. 

And that is something people should be aware of Ravenclaws, just because we are intelligent does not mean we are dull, quite the opposite, really. If you talk with a Ravenclaw, we will likely open up and have a pleasant conversation, that will be appreciated both ways. 

You will never doubt how much you matter to us, Ravenclaws

Because we are logical and rational, we will always have arguments ready to defend our friends. We will never accuse a friend of some mistakes because Ravenclaws are wise, a few mistakes should not be worth enough to ruin a friendship, mistakes do not change who you really are.

We, Ravenclaws work hard on our friendships

To maintain a permanent friendship you need to put effort into it, this is something Ravenclaws care about. Nothing in life will ever just come to you, just like we put effort into studying hard to get Outstanding on our O.W.Ls and N.E.W.Ts, we put effort into our friendships, so that they may last eternally.

Friendships are to be valued even more than intelligence and I can guarantee we, Ravenclaws know that (as we love knowing everything).

Once again, Happy Pride Day to all the wise Ravenclaws from the Wizarding World. Also, do not judge any house based mainly on their traits, as there is a deeper meaning behind it. Just like you love your house, others love their house. At the end of the day, we are all from Hogwarts.
