Jerk Rivals = Just young boys with bad/no family lives

I'll be covering the following "Jerk" Rivals -Blue Oak -Silver -Gideon -Bede -Arven (at first)

Secondly, why do you think they are jerks? What is the one thing all 5 have in common? Shitty or no families. Thirdly I am not covering Carmine since she's more of an "I don't want my home to become a tourist destination," kind of jerk

Let's get into this Blue: In the games (not counting let's go) Oak shows he likes Red more then Blue. When the Professor take you to the lab and Blue say he was sick of waiting, Oak makes it know he forgot Blue was even waiting for him and allowed Red to pick first.

In FR/LG if you lose to Blue, Oak says it's disappointing that Blue won. How much do you think it hurt to hear your own grandfather put you down for winning your first every battle?

When you become champion after beating Blue, Oak tells his grandson how disappointed he is in Blue and that he doesn't love his Pokémon which is why you win. It doesn't matter that Blue worked as hard as we did to reach the same point.

Silver: Having Giovanni abandon him when he was only 7/8 years old had to be hard on Silver. More so when he was raised to only see Pokémon as tools. Having to unlearn all of them while he's still a child might have been easy, but it could have could still have been a hard lesson to learn.

Gideon: His father went missing which sent his mother insane causing her to be obsessive of both him and his sister Lillie.

Bede: A orphan boy who was take on by Rose, only to be thrown away after one big mistake. Who knows how long he was orphaned for or if he saw his parents die.

Arven: Having one parent be a workaholic and the other get up and leave while he was still young basically left him with no family. Then to have the workaholic parent be killed (Arven most likely saw it) and having his best friend almost killed would make him hostile to anyone who has Maridon/Karidon

So all in all, I don't think they wanted to be jerks. They just had shit home lives and lashing out is all they knew till they could improve.

(I have missed something Gideon and Bede so if I have let me know)

Ninety-one years ago, the Ninth Philippine Legislature Act No. 4120 (December 8, 1933) laid the foundation for the "National Research Council of the Philippine Islands" to advance research in various fields. This initiative was further strengthened by Republic Act No. 2067 (June 13, 1958), also known as the Science Act of 1958, which established the National Science Development Board (NSDB) and designated the NRCP as the official scientific adviser to the Government of the Philippines.

The evolution of the NRCP continued with the reorganization under Executive Order No. 784 (March 17, 1982), which transformed the National Science Development Board into the National Science and Technology Authority (NSTA) and solidified the NRCP's role in advising on scientific policies and programs. Subsequent changes under Executive Order No. 128 (January 30, 1987) and Republic Act No. 6974 (December 8, 1990) led to the renaming of the agency to the Philippine National Science Society (PNSS) and eventually back to the National Research Council of the Philippines.

With a membership exceeding 6000 individuals, the DOST-NRCP is dedicated to promoting and supporting fundamental research, advising on national issues, cultivating a culture of research across society, and building partnerships with local and international research organizations for collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The DOST- NRCP Divisions are: I Governmental, Educational, and International Policies; II Mathematical Sciences; III Medical Sciences; IV Pharmaceutical Sciences; V Biological Sciences; VI Agriculture and Forestry; VII Engineering and Industrial Research; VIII Social Sciences, IX Physics; X Chemical Sciences; XI Humanities; XII Earth and Space Sciences; and XIII Veterinary Medicine. These divisions reflect the agency's commitment to advancing research and innovation across various disciplines. Each division plays a crucial role in contributing to the country's overall research landscape and driving progress in knowledge and discovery.

for non-portmanteau ship names im already fond of ruthless romanus (+ theyre a blue x red ship!) and made it my username on a few sites already... well you can choose whether its actually a ship or not i just really want to put them in the same room for prolonged periods of time and see what happens. like in the sims

idek if there are others who like tvc and epic at the same time but the vision is basically something along the lines of 😭 ancient roman guy (marius) and even more ancient greek guy (poseidon) who are so stubborn in a philosophy (as products of the times they were born and raised in) imprinted onto them all their lives (poseidons "ruthlessness" & marius "[roman] rationality"... and oh hey, they both start with an r!) that it causes like half of their problems but they just cant let go of it because thats all they have and they have no idea how to live without it despite everything that happens because of it

these two can either bring out the worst (both enabling eachothers stagnancy and although they find solace in their similarities theyre still gonna be soaking in their own misery for centuries probably) or best (both lock in together and although they find solace in their negative similarities they in each other they decide neither can stay like that forever) in eachother it just depends on which one youd like to indulge yourself in i think! (them making eachother worse is more likely to me LOL 🥲 those greeks / romans...) im rambling now but let me know what yall think of my insanity tho

i think i just made up a new marius ship / au but it is genuinely so strange idek if anyone else will be able to see the vision 😭 its a crossover sorta thing but the other media involved is such a shift from tvc

What if Marinette somehow met the turtles?

She moved to New York with Chloe and her mother Audrey to better her dream

best friends with Chloe due to Lila.

She still has friends in her class. (Nino, Kim Alix, Ivan, max, Julkea)

the guardian of the miraculous.

Hawkmoth disappeared from Paris.

Adrien isn’t Chat noir anymore. He is focusing on his personal life more than his hero life.

Ladybug cant exactly been seen in New York. So uses Wayazz (sp?)

She would meet April as a job/interviewee. She somehow meets Raph or Leo the same night.

Only because the foot is trying to kidnap her, one of them stops it

she be hiding turn into a fem carapace. Proceeds to kick but. ( Ladypace?)

Knows English.

Protects the green boi then disappears and meets in civilian form.

She’s not fazed because of fucking akumas. Shes be curious.

She’s too adorable to suspect as anything heinous.

Gets to know the turt to the point of bringing to the lair meeting the others. (Not trying to specify)

Feels like she would develop a crush on Donnie. Up to interruption.

knowing martial arts due to akumas.

Splinter can tell who is she is. (Nothing get past him and his wisdom)

Just lots of sweets and bonding moments.

Donnie can speak French, just in case, they save a French girl.

Mari and Donnie be talking to each other in French just to annoy the others. It’s funny.

Mari does feel a little bad though.

She designs things. Not just clothing but that’s a big plus when you have turtle muses.

Chloe eventually finds out. Nothing gets past her. Plus punched a foot shoulder. Shes Mari’s best friend so shenanigans happen with them.

Chloe isn’t as spoiled as she used to be. I honestly might be good for Leo. He can be selfish about certain things. He would be great for her. (I honestly don’t know. Just thought it’s cute)

The whole idea of girls hangs with April once they meet. Again for Mari though.

Mari actually tells them about the akumas in Paris aka why meeting one of them didn’t faze her. Chloe too.

All of the bonding is just a cute concept to me.

Ladypace makes appearances every so often. Bee helps sometimes.

Splinter having tea with Wayazz because Marinette already told him.

Donnie eventually figures it out but didn’t say anything, not his secret to tell. And knows it’s up to Marinette if she wants to tell them. He even tries to cover her disappearances sometimes.

He gets her advice about design stuff.

Mari designs April’s clothes for her when investigating or going undercover.

Another thing, Mari and Chloe pretty much homeschooling. More time for designing and spending time with the turtles.

Marinette tells them about Ladypace. And her being ladybug introducing the kwamis.

They are dumbfounded even more so when Chloe admits she is Bee.

They eventually have to go back to Paris but they promise to keep in touch. Even with the time zone. 

Maybe Marinette would teach Mikey to cook? Her parents own a bakery. Plus I think Chloe and Marinette being introduced to pizza by the turtles in their way would be an adorable moment (not sure there is pizza that was shown in the show. Don’t kill me)
