I’m gonna be honest I think this the hardest I’ve ever Marichated. Chat Blanc is on the left, Chat Noir on the right, and Marinette has no idea what to do. These two handsome boys attempting to woo her will be the death of her.

So I’m not terribly active in the Miraculous Ladybug fandom anymore, but I will 100% come back every now and again for some good ol’ fashioned coloring practice.  XD

@saijspellhart was so nice and let me color in her lineart, and she’s got a whole art tag of stuff to check out, so you should do that if you don’t mind a bit more risque pairing stuff.  (Not super risque, but definitely more than me lol)

Thanks so much for the Ask! I’m going to answer these for both YGO and Miraculous Ladybug, cause they both my favs.

A - Your current OTP(s)/OT3(s)/OTX(s)

Uhhhh, let’s try and keep this simply I guess? OTPs: Puzzleshipping, Boundshipping, Deathshipping, Marichat/Lovesquare, Mariblanc, and Lukanette. OT3s: Mobiumshipping, Bakushipping, Radicalshipping, MariBlancNoir, and Lukadrienette. OTX: Conspireshipping and Puzzlepile/Yugiverse.

B - A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind

It took seeing some Alyanette art to make me double take and go, “ohhh, I never considered this, but now I like it. Yes please. I’ve also been persuaded into Kimax, MariKim, Lukagami, and AdriNath. They are all so yummy. As far as YGO goes, I never considered Shadi x Pegasus until a comic crossed my dash, and then I was all, “I am listening. I am ready to be convinced.” Now I am kinda intrigued. Also I never thought much about Yugi x Dark Magician, but some art passed my tumblr dash, and now my interest is piqued.

G - Do you remember your first OTP, if so who was in it

The first ship I ever shipped, and like read fanfic and really got into it was Albel x Nel. From the video game Star Ocean Till the End of Time. There was a dedicated website to the ship back in the day, with its own collection of fanart, and fanfic, and I remember it being so pretty. Their slogan was, “AlNel, a match made in heaven or hell?” I even remember the name of my favorite fanfic author from back in the day, SorceressMist. This was all easily more than 11 years ago.

H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., tv shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)

So for YGO I tend to refer to the original seven mangas/season zero for information about the characters. Name spelling, personality, etc etc. but that’s because I like the Season Zero versions of everyone best. I sort of cherry pick stuff from DM to supplement from there.

As for Miraculous, I lean toward the English dub of the cartoon for my character information and personality. It’s what I know best. And I hate reading subtitles. Got to multitask while I watch stuff, so can’t be bogged down with reading.

What is the hardest pose you ever drew a picture of?

I was waiting to answer this ask until after I finished my latest commission. Because that was one of the most challenging projects I ever undertook. The thing about tough poses is that once you draw one, and you nail it, it’s not as hard the next time. So old poses I drew don’t feel like the toughest thing anymore? If that makes sense.

But I did pick out three that I can still remember presented me with quite a challenge, for different reasons.

The first obviously being this one. From my latest commission. The pose was very involved, and there were a lot of variables, chair, Marinette, Chat, desk, Chat tumbling off the desk, etc etc. @yunyin actually helped me with this one, to help map the proportions and stuff in the early sketch stages.

The second is this beast. My Dragonbug and Snek Noir piece. The perspective of Chat’s legs was a unique challenge that I hadn’t tackled successfully before. And I think this was the closest I’ve ever gotten to succeeding?

Lastly, is this picture. My MariBlancNoir drawing. This was difficult, because it was also a very involved pose. Three characters all interacting with each other. It’s significant because I had originally sketched out the pose a couple years ago. But I set it aside because I lacked the skill or ability to draw it. And I basically held onto the thumbnail sketch until I felt I had achieved the skill required to do it justice.

12. Who is your current OT3?

Ah man, I don’t really have any three character ships. I got nothing against it, just have no particular preference towards any OT3s. Unless you count MariBlancNoir?

But then Chat Blanc and Noir are the same person? So I don’t think that counts... but if I had an OT3 I guess that’s as close as it gets. I’ve had a few MariBlancNoir AU story ideas and stuff.
