El título es un acrónimo que fusiona 'Libertad' (español para 'libertad') y 'tango', que simboliza la ruptura de Piazzolla del tango clásico al tango nuevo. Astor Piazzolla grabó y publicó Libertango en 1974 en Milán, simbolizando su ruptura del tango clásico al tango nuevo (ver más abajo los detalles de la grabación). Astor Piazzolla (11 de marzo de 1921-4 de julio de 1992) fue un compositor, bandoneonista y arreglista argentino de tango. Sus obras revolucionaron el tango tradicional en un nuevo estilo denominado Nuevo tango, incorporando elementos del jazz y la música clásica. Bandoneonista virtuoso, interpretó regularmente sus propias composiciones con una variedad de conjuntos. En 1992, el crítico musical estadounidense Stephen Holden describió a Piazzolla como 'el compositor de música de tango más importante del mundo'. they worked as a creative/director before drag race and they've always been into cinema, the most interesting for me of their filmography as a writer and director are this ad for the catalan cinema academy gaudí awards named 'estimen-nos' in which they also act alongside ariadna gil (you might recognize her from pan's labyrinth if you have seen it, she's one of my favorites) and this music video for maria arnal & marcel bagés named ‘fiera de mí' (it's a really good song too)

they're also part of this movie from 2021 with la prohibida and samantha hudson (which means nothing to people outside of spain i'm aware but they are literally lgbt legends) named cut! directed by marc ferrer; it's a metafiction pseudo giallo queer film and the campiest thing I've watched in a long while, and I do mean camp, nobody eats shit, but john waters would approve.

marina as a persona started when they moved to paris after uni when they were 25ish, they found cross dressing as an every day 'i just feel like wearing this today' gender expression thing before they decided to turn it into an act, the distinction between marina as a performer and just their every day person is almost non existent as consequence which i find fascinating bc those are always my favorite performers

Ferrer eligió para su Última Cena recipientes de cerámica de Manises con sus característicos diseños florales estilizados. La población de Manises próxima a Valencia, era uno de los grandes centros de producción de cerámica mudéjar. El uso de las letras góticas, como el Ave María del plato, data de la primera mitad del siglo xv.

Pintura a la témpera sobre madera de la predela de un gran retablo, del segundo cuarto del siglo XV, donde se representa la Última cena. La figura central de Cristo comparte mesa con los apóstoles y con la figura, poco habitual, de Magdalena. Destacan los detalles en el servicio de mesa, especialmente la vajilla, correspondiente a la serie Ave Maria de la cerámica de Manises. Se atribuye a Jaume Ferrer I, o a Pere Teixidor, y proviene de la iglesia de Santa Constança de Linya (Navès, Solsonès).
