Thought for the day - I believe there are two types of boys in One Piece in their relationships with girls, let me explain.

There are those where, outsiders, would never say that the two of you are in a relationship. You walk steps apart, exchanging only the essentials of words between you. However, anyone who looked closely could see that many times, some favors were done just for you, that his eyes always seemed to follow you at every step, protecting you even from afar. It was the type of situation in which the person who dared to mess with you would barely know where the blow would come from. However, when the two of you are alone, prepare for a clingy pair. He loves to make up for all the moments away when it's just the two of you - he holds you in bed for a few more minutes, stealing several kisses before facing the reality of the day, he always offers to accompany you on your explorations, just so he can drag you to hidden places in the city and enjoy the time alone, he will love you (aka fuck) as if that were the last night he would have you in their bed, after all, the next day, you both would just be crewmates again.

Law, Zoro, Marco, Killer, Katakuri, Mihawk, Smoker, Rob Lucci, Sabo (u can't tell me this loverboy wouldn't be the clingest guy in the alone time)

These people practically have your name tied to their existence. He don't exist without remembering your name immediately, accompanied by a smile, after all, anyone who saw - even if they didn't know you two - would know that you were made for each other - even if you are copies of each other's personality or are completely the opposite - you spark something in him that is sharp. They are super protective, yes, but they don't need to worry about following you far away, they know that no one would have enough balls to mess with his girl. Whenever they got into trouble, they immediately asked you for help after all you were one of the people he trusted most. With everyone already knowing about the two of you, he didn't need to make an effort to hide something, whether when he walked hand in hand with you, when he took the lead and asked who dared to interfere with their partner, or when they took advantage of any time free to love you (again, aka fuck) in a messy way, leaving marks and not sparing the noise. After all, everyone already knew that you belonged together.

summary: strawhat!reader x katakuri meet again after many years apart during the whole cake island arc. luffy has been trying to convince him to join his crew with no success, but maybe he might listen to you?

whoever said katakuri was 48 year-old eldest daughter syndrome is absolutely correct. he has so many hangups when it comes to both physical and verbal affection, most of the time preferring to passively sit by and let people bother him. case in point, your captain. instead of immediately setting sail for zou to meet up with everyone, luffy has taken it upon himself to convince the minister of flour that his presence is desperately needed on his crew. permanently.

and, if you're going to be polite about it: things aren't going well. you've watched for two days straight, luffy yelling either to the gentle giant's face (which is still quite a distance from the ground), or attempting to scale the walls of katakuri's home. neither of those particularly difficult for the rubber boy, considering the house slash castle itself seems to be basically falling apart.

you wait. nami often sits by your side, either grouching about the time, plotting your captain's demise, or napping on your shoulder. chopper and brook have taken to an almost betting ring of sorts, getting the remaining residents of komugi island to guess whether their leader will stay or go. so far, the odds aren't in luffy's favour. as usual, you might add.

at the end of their fourth extra night, luffy returns to the sunny. he looks a little downtrodden, yawning, but has somehow gotten a hold of a handful of mochi. "i think katakuri was trying to kill me again, but he lost. the food he makes is really yummy though, shishishi!"

with a sigh of your own, you offer, "let me talk to him, i have an idea."

"you do?" luffy replies, mouth full of sweets, "go ahead!"

"call if you need anything!" chopper chimes in.

nami only shakes her head. "if you don't come back, we'll assume you got trampled to death or something. so don't do that please."

"don't even worry about it, i'm basically a pro social hustler," you tell them, and begin the walk to the castle.

"so you are not a bard, or a songstress, or a very small jester. your presence here confuses me, you did not seem like someone who would ever become a pirate," katakuri tells you, his tone as solemn as ever.

"is this a roundabout way of saying i don't have any talents?" you mock-gasp with flair, "oh you wound me so!"

he stares at you wordlessly. okay, it looks like jokes are off the table.

"but you missed me right?" you try instead, putting on your biggest smile. "you missed me so bad, must be why you look so grumpy all the time."

"is your captain aware of..." he pauses, considers, "does the strawhat know of your past?"

"sort of?" you shrug your shoulders, shifting forward to adjust like you aren't already lying on one of his legs (truly the world's largest couch). "there was never exactly a good time to bring it up, ya know? like how was i supposed to say 'uh hey guys, i used to work here as the world's worst gardener before i got fired'."

"hm, that does seem difficult," katakuri nods. "i could not tell how much they knew, but you are lucky that none of my siblings happened to remember you well enough to say anything."

"small blessings for sure," you do your best to contain a laugh, however the echoing chambers of an empty castle only make it louder. "anyways, cut the bullshit. you're gonna come with me, right?"

his neutral expression shifts into something like a frown, and yet you can tell he isn't exactly angry at your presumptuousness either. "i would like to accompany you. but my duties to my... mother and the family take precedence."

"and if you left, she'd send the whole gang after you."

he sighs again. "yes, that is the most probable outcome. and i would not wish to put the strawhat crew in danger."

"that's charming," you reply, "but also really stupid. and i know you aren't a dummy, right? you've been hanging around this dreary archipelago for your whole life! don't you want to, i don't know, do something? go on an adventure?"

he doesn't respond immediately, but a large hand clumsily pats your head with his pointer finger. you grin, knowing victory must be in sight. "your totally evil mom doesn't even leave her place that often, so she won't even notice that you're gone! and tell me right now that you don't think luffy would be chomping at the bit to fight her again? be serious, mochi-mochi."

all of a sudden the ground shifts under you, and you make an embarrassing yelp as you're dragged up and up and up. katakuri holds your body by the back of your shirt, and you're only partially worried that he could drop you. death by splat on marble floor isn't appealing in the slightest. you're suspended by a shirt pinched between fingers as he squints slightly, as though looking for a secret in your expression.

"fine," he eventually says, "i will go. but if something goes wrong, do not say i didn't warn you."

"ah, you're bringing me back to old times!" you hum, making a familiar grabby hand motion for him to drop you on his shoulder. "except i think uh, the last time you warned me-"

"you got fired, yes," he says amicably, but acquiesces to your request. "left or right?"

"right! i wanna look like a really mean parrot, mr. pirate," you exclaim, laughing as he drops you gently where you'd asked. feeling mischievous, you press a kiss against his neck and watch as his face goes pink. "we should probably go make sure that you won't sink the sunny, though!"

"... and you somehow did not think to check something like that before?"

hello!!!! its been so long i apologize so ☹️ ive been fighting demons and going through story book worthy horrors, but its all okay!!!!

but for 📷 anons surprising comeback,

hear me out, its one piece time woah, little ace with the whitebeards. that kid would totally hid his regression for as long as he could, especially during the time before ace joined the crew. only to be found out either via a meltdown, or very shortly after he officially joined due to a slip up.

real nap time kid. a nap time is always inevitable with ace, whether it be because his narcolepsy or marco trying to push one because ace is getting wayy to fussy for this busy crew.

i also have the headcanon that his devil fruit is just out of control this boy is setting everything on fire, unlucky for the crew because, yknow, they live on a wooden ship.

i feel like hes has a pretty large range of ages he can regress too but normally stays pretty small. 1-3 maybe? definitely kinda kid to insist he can do everything by himself but then melts and gives up the moment hes shown some positive affection. give him a pacifier when its clear he wants one? so over for him. one of the chefs giving him a spill proof cup? knockout. pick him up when hes too small to properly walk himself? hes ran out of lives.

ouh the imagery of someone like marco or thatch holding a very very sleepy ace and ace having his fingers in his mouth and just the other person taking them out of his mouth and replacing them with a pacifier and everyones like woah! howd u do that without him having a tantrum and the person holding him is just like oh im just that good ig IM CRYING INYO MY PILLOW hes actually just a baby i cant even handle it

Much Ado About Nothingness

We are almost halfway through the year and Manjuu finally blessed us with new Event! Iron Blood Event content, at that! Iron Blood event content that has a brilliant new Ultra Rare Ship in the banner! You absolutely know I'm making a run today! I’ve stacked Cubes and Finishers for months. I have hundreds of these things, literally stockpiling for this, specifically. Sure, I've burned a few here or there for a couple of Reruns but all of my everything in Azur Lane, is primarily for my darling Kraut dock. it’e wild because the drought has been long and arduous. I’ve literally just been doing side quest since the turn of the year but now, i can get back to the main campaign. Sh*t’s dope, sure, but it’s at the cost of Marco Polo. I’m still in the middle of constructing her and now she gets to be put on the back burner because Bismarck Zwei needs just SO much love! Off the top, this was the most expensive Banner at which I've ever made a run. It took all two hundred rolls, man. so many of my Cubes, sacrificed to the cruel, cruel, Gacha gods. I’ve played this game for years and, up to this point, never had to take the Pity.

The most cubes I've used on Banner ships was eighty. Actual years of luck. I guess it finally ran out because, goddamn, two hundred f*cking cubes, yo! My pockets are bare but it was worth it. I unlocked all of the ships available and, in the grueling process of burning all of my hard earned Cubes, was able to Limit Break every ship on that Banner, save U-556 META. Generally speaking, i don’t care about META ships so she’s just bonus. No, my prize is all of those UR Bismark Zweis. It took one hundred and seventy rolls but, on that last one, i popped three Zweis and my third U-556 META. Bro, i had already fully Limit Broken both Otto von Alvensleben and Regensburg. That’s five goddamn copies for each of those boats! By the fiftieth goddamn roll! I literally have two extra copies of Regensburg right now because i had to run that banner another one hundred and twenty goddamn times! By then, i just said “F*ck it” and kept going to gt the Pity. Why not? I had the Cubes and figured better that than buying one of those UR Bulin from the shop.

It’s wild that i pulled every ship available in this Event. It took a great deal but now I'm not even sure if i want to play the goddamn game! I mean, of course i will, i need to grind out that Affection so i can wife my new ships, but what would be more efficient: Grinding the Event or just grinding on of the Stage Eleven maps? Sure, there’s more Experience to be had on Stage Eleven but, i mean, there is Shop stuff i can buy. Cats can never have enough Rainbow Blueprints and there’s ten of those b*tches in there. I might just go that route, mostly because i still need to unlock Jade. She’s the Point Accumulation Reward for this event so unlocking her is only a matter of time. Ten thousand is a lot but i think i have a pretty healthy start. Maxing out those three Banner ships and getting them to level one hundred almost immediately, has to count for something, right? The other stuff added during his update is pretty dope, too. I love the new costumes, specifically Regensberg’s Dark Dragon, Brilliant Beach. That there is some quality Live 2D, i tell you hwat! The Wishing Well is back but i already have everything i want so it’s more a mute point for me. Still, i might use it to pick up a random boat, who knows? What i do know is I’m going to miss out on that Nelson Retrofit because i, apparently, don’t have Nelson in my Fleet. How is that even a thing? Whatever, it’s fine. I got another UR KMS boat in Zwei. That, alone, made this entire Event worth it for me.

They've been caught up with school, trying to juggle extracurricular activities, projects, homeworks, and exams has been a hassle. You understood that they need their space and time to do school works but you couldn't help it but feel a little lonely for the pass few days without them. Always on their desk working non-stop.

You were already on bed just scrolling mindlessly on social media. You wanted to wait out a little for them, to maybe cuddle or have small talk. The door creaks open and it was your lover peaking through the door.

"Angel, you're still awake."

You shifted your attention to them; "Oh, I was waiting for you." You respond, their expression softened. Their lips form a small tender smile. "Would you like to have some ice cream? I got some from the convient store nearby. It's your favorite" they raise their left arm shaking the little plastic bag that contained the cold treat

You put your phone down on the bedside, and got up from your spot walking your way to them. They open their arms and you dove right into them as you stuffing your face onto their chest. "I missed you" came out a little muffled

They embrace you a little tighter; "I missed you too, sunshine" kissing you on the top of you head, rubbing your back. You missed them.

You both pulled away from the embrace and went to the kitchen area. "Angel, please. Tell me about your day." And you both talked and talked and it was great. You felt a rush of relief now that you've finally spoken to them.

They suddenly take their phone out and scroll. They played a song; "This may be a little cringe and cliche but come dance with me for a bit before we go to bed, lovely?" They reach out their hand

The music starts to play, it was rather an upbeat romance song; "Sweetheart"

You hum in response looking up to him with your hands around his neck, and his arms around your waist. One of his hands move up to hold your cheek; "Angel, I'm sorry I couldn't spend much time with you for the past few days. I'll make it up to you, love wely. I promise" Softly caressing your face

Your expression softened as he looked at you so lovingly. "Don't apologize, it's alright. Like I said take your time; this is gonna be for your future."

He leaned to press his forehead against yours; "Thank you for being so patient with me, I promise I'll make sure all of your patient and effort with me will be worth it."

You hum, "But..." He says and pauses pulling away from you, now placing both their hands on your face; "It's not just for my future, it's going to be for ours if you'd still take me."

Once you've calm down, they wipe your tear; "Good god, your boss is a dick. You should really quit your job." He chuckles wiping and kissing your tears away. "I'm sorry I haven't been by your side for a while. Come, I bought you some snacks and we can make some hot cocoas or just anything." They paused

Pushing the hair out of your face; "I don't like seeing you cry. Love, you can quit the job, I'll help you find one without a lame boss. And, I'll be with you more often. Seeing you fall asleep without me beside you was... my bad I suppose."

"I know you can take care of yourself but I wish I took care of you in any better way that I could. I noticed you were surprised to see me home this early, but you know I'd ditch some overtime for you. Besides, my co-worker owes me" Stroking you hair more keeping eye contact with you as they spoke.

"So, please, don't ever hesitate to call me or talk to me whenever. I know you respect my space and all but I do miss you too."

Often it was a peaceful silence in your shared apartment but it was mainly because you both enjoyed the silence together. You usually were the one who talked a lot but the silence you shared this time wasn't comforting as it should be. They're busy with college and work and you couldn't blame them, they have responsibilities and you were alright with that because you had yours as well.

You sighed, so much for not knowing what goes through my head reading the situation very well. "I just don't want to be a burden when you're already busy" You say adverting your eyes, rubbing your left arm and fully turning away from them.

-Ok let me get this straight since we all know that Sanji would be really a pleaser when you're in a bad mood.

-Since he's the cook he would cook for you ofcurse. You favorite one obviously.

-Then when he's done on cooking and preparing your food he silently sneak into your room and he saw you brushing your hair.

-Your eyes met but you chose not to pay attention to him since the reason why you're in a bad mood is because of a woman. None other.

-So this is the reason why you are mad.

-On the last island you where with him buying some ingredients for his recipes. While keeping yourself accompany by some vendor explaining on what the spice would do you think on Sanji on what is his opinion.

-And there it is, you saw him eyeing on another woman with a heart eyes. Compliment them and as his girlfriend you have the right to be jealous since he's yours.

-In the first place you know it would be like this when dating Sanji since it's like how he act the first you two met when you join the straw hats.

-After that you didn't care on the vendor's explanations about spices but you silently go back to sunny without calling Sanji or even bothering to call him.

He was sitting on deck, his most trusted men surrounding him while he explained to them a new strategy how to handle a certain problem they currently had. It wasn’t anything big but big enough to be a nuisance. All of them were listening intently, not wanting to miss any of Shanks’ explanation. They all liked goofing around but when it went down to business Shanks knew he could trust them.

That is, until Lucky Roux stopped eating his food, his eyes not on the map in front of them anymore but instead fixated on something a little further away. Benn was the second one to notice, an amused smile coming to his lips. One after another started ignoring their captain in favor of watching you hang up your, admittedly, sexy lingerie.

You noticed them watching and waved over at them with a smile before focusing back on hanging up your laundry. After all, it needed to dry.

“Once you’re done staring, I would like you perverts to start paying attention to me again. “I doubt they even know what this-“ you pointed at your bodice “-is. And as long as you don’t tell them, they won’t know until they’re old enough. I’m not wearing it anyways so stop being so dramatic, okay?” you said it with a slight hint of humor, loving how he was at a loss for words.

With a slightly surprised look on your face you turned around only to see Ace crouching next to the laundry basket, a string tanga dangling from his index finger. You snatched it from him, your face heating up at his comment.

“Well, there are a lot of things you don’t know about me.” You replied, not knowing a better answer to his comment. “Bet it looks good on you.” He chuckled. Before you could retort something, you saw a shadow fly over you and land right behind Ace, an amused look on his face.

“She does but you will never see her actually wear it. So, all you’re gonna be stuck with are your shitty imaginations that will never do Y/n justice.” He chuckled. Ace looked up at the first division commander, a cheeky grin on his lips. “Nah, I would never dare think about Y/n this way. But I can’t talk for those guys.” He pointed at the rest of the crew; some trying to be sneaky and just trying to take a quick look, others shamelessly checking out your underwear.

“If you bastards have time to stare, you have time to work.” A deep, intimidating voice cut through the air like a sword, the caught men tensing up. “Whitebeard looked over to you from where he was sitting, not looking too amused.

“I guess pops is taking care of them for me.” Marco chuckled, giving you a quick kiss on your forehead before smacking Ace over the head with a small grin for touching your tanga.

a/n: i had to read so much for this fic, but i got the jist of it, again making sure you guys know there is no spoilers for the manga in here and onlt a season four spoiler do if you guys havent watched the latest episodes be warned

summary: in which you and jean are undercover doing reconnaissance in marley, want turns to investigating a local bar leads to feelings finally being brought out from the two of you

The dress you wore covered your thighs and knees, it hugged you, the soft material being a drastic change from your normal attire. It was a warm mid-day, birds chirped and the sound of Marleyans engulphed your ears. In the 6 years in which you had known Jean you hadn’t ever expect an undercover mission taking place in Marley of all places.

He walked with your hand in his own, you smiling softly as you spoke nonchalantly to one another. It was unamusing and more a distraction than anything else. He picked the newspaper up on the stall, paying quickly as he walked back, you followed which felt more like being dragged along by his strong grip.

The way the top of his fedora sat on his now long hair, he heard about the victory of the Marleyans from a passer-by and with his hand in your own he opened the newspaper up. It was reconnaissance, you and him both knew you were supposed to act like one of these people even if they did think of you both as devils.

“I think we should visit that bar that woman told us about, a lot of the men there get drunk and reveal a lot.”

He looked down at you, your hands still connected. He had grown so much in all these years now reaching over 6ft, his long hair and scattered hairs along his chin making gorgeous. He had become the leader both you and Marco knew he would become.

“They’ll all stare at you, why would I want that?” he mutters.

You laugh at his antics, “you’re such an idiot.”

“You’re the one holding my hand.”

“Jean it’s a mission we have to pretend to be together for the performance.”

He raised an eyebrow you had full view of his face; his eyes were tired from the late nights working on the next plan of action. But most importantly, the fact that the two of you had to share a bed. He couldn’t even touch you as your small frame would sometimes push against his chest.

You smiled at the boy getting him out of his trance before skimming through the newspaper again. “We’ll go tonight after the meeting.”

You nod as the two of you walk towards the docks of Liberio. Both you and Jean were in the internment zone, a nice old woman allowing you to stay on top of her shop. Even with her being nice her opinions on titans and those within the walls were a lot cruller than u had expected.

It had been awkward the first time sleeping beside each other, you both looked up. Not facing each other but instead watching as the clock ticked away until one of you fell asleep. You both woke up wrapped in each other’s arms, and an awkwardness had set between you two from that night. You both would try to face away from each other but one way in another you ended up touching each other in some way.

He helped you up the stairs to where the little shop was kept, you both had gained some currency mostly from stealing it, but you never expected to stay here long. Only to find information until the true invasion would begin. Of course, the others were already here in their own recon missions, but you and Jean had been the first ones and had found out the most about this stupid town.

The biggest thing being that they hated Eldians of any type. You both walked through the double doors the woman smiling at how pretty you both looked together.

You had a meeting with the rest of the survey corps, Hange leading it, you got changed into what you’d wear to the bar knowing it was going to be a long night.

Jean stood at the door watching at how you easily took the dress off. You both didn’t care about changing clothes in front of each other, you’d seen worse from each other and it meant nothing after the tortures of titans.

The short dress fitted you perfectly and as Jean eyed you up and down, he craved any touch by you. He had taken the blue tie off and the suit jacket and waistcoat off leaving him in the white button up and trousers.

You smiled at how his hair stuck to the back of his neck, when he had first started growing his hair out you had loved it seeing the boy turn into a man. You both had changed since your cadet days and as much as you missed it you couldn’t say that being an adult didn’t have its perks.

“You know Y/n, I’d definitely accept any date proposals from you.”

You rolled your eyes at him, he always tormented you with the flirting. “Jean you really are a pain in my ass.”

“Such vulgar words from a pretty woman.”

You wanted to stab him with your ODM gear but instead stuck with jabbing him with your knee into his stomach. Normally when he was a lot younger it hurt him easily, but he seemed unfazed by the action almost finding it cute.

“Why did u have to grow so much? Short Jean was better.”

“Are you saying 15-year-old me is better than now me?”

You think back at the boy, bringing your finger to your chin. “Both you and 15-year-old you are pains to be around.”

He moves his face to your ear you could feel the hairs brush against your cheek from his chin as he spoke, “it’s okay Y/n we both know how you really feel.”

Rolling your eyes, he grabbed your hand almost out of instinct, you both leaving the shop as quickly as you came. Turning the many corners that Hange had told you to take after each different meeting.

The amount of walks you both went on should be unnecessary but the people of Liberio barely batted an eyelash at the two on you.

The dress was low cut and having all these new clothes made your heart warm up. You hadn’t worn different clothes in years, always the same uniform which you grew to dislike.

“Hange really sent us on a fucking expedition.” You mutter as you lean against Jean’s side.

He leads the way walking towards an unknown battered up building. It looked like it was being constructed and you were met with the scouts.

They eyed you both up your outfits standing out. “running late per usual.” Levi mutters.

As much as you had grown on Captain Levi, he still had a discomfort towards most of you. Both Jean and you let go of hands with ease standing beside each other. Before the meeting begun mostly talking about what had occurred and most significantly the defeat of Marleyans against the Mid-East.

“You know what that means, sometime soon is our time to act.” You professed, the new knowledge coming as a relief as it would soon be time for your plan to truly occur.

Armin and Mikasa spoke, the whereabouts of Eren being unknown due to his consistent disappearances. Watching these people grow you truly understood the mutual torment you all felt. As you were all dismissed all you could think about was the consistent opposition you all faced.

“I think the bars down here.” Jean retakes your hand as you smiled at him.

“Once this is over what do you think will happen.” You ask him softly.

“I don’t know.”

“Remember when we first met, and you were adamant on becoming an MP.” He listened raising an eyebrow. “Look at you now Mr Commanding Officer.”

You were proud of your friend he had worked hard to achieve this status. “You really are proud of me aren’t yah.”

You rolled your eyes gently hitting his side. “I’m telling the truth I’m proud of you.”

You had been timid in your choice of words you were proud, and he knew you were proud of him. Walking into the bar, the significant smell of alcohol mixed with sweat made you grossed out.

It was a rule to not drink under the survey corps and you hadn’t really cared for drinking. So, the sight of so many drunk people drove you mad, how easily a night of drinking could lead to a failed future.

Jean pulled out a chair for you before going to the bar, “I’ll get your favourite.”

You nodded playing with your fingers trying to listen in on the conversations that were occurring. Many Marleyans chatting shit about the Eldians and most specifically those of paradise island.

Your fist clenched as Jean brought two drinks out. “What is it?” You question looking at the red drink in front of you.

“You told me you liken cranberry juice once, i got you some”.

Your eyes widened at the boy, “Jean i said that like years ago.”

“Shows you how much i do care about you.” You rolled your eyes sipping on the drink. You both conversed but remained consistent with your spying on individuals.

“Those guys are talking about you.” Jean coughed out sipping his drink.

“I should go up to them i might get some information.”

“Don’t.” You raise an eyebrow going up to his ear. “They might steal you away.”

“This isn’t a date Jean, we’re undercover.” The way you spoke his name made him melt, he wanted to hear more of your voice specifically moaning his name out.

You stood up ready to go speak to them before you heard something come from their mouths. “If i ever saw one of those island folks I’d slit their throats and make their kids watch.”

You felt sick to the stomach by the comment and wanted to leave. Jean hadn’t heard it and as you stood frozen, he called out your name.

“Let’s get u outside.” He whispers taking your hand as you silently followed. “Are you okay?”

You nod, “I guess it just hit me we’re hated here the way the act towards us is the way we used to act against titans.”

You felt his arms wrap around you. He knew you hadn’t spoken much about the comments and that now you hit the realisation you’d confide in him more.

“I want to go back to the shop.” He nods as a comfortable silence settled in.

You cling to his arm wrapping your hands around his own. He loved the way you cling onto him like he was your protector, and you were his queen.

Walking down a long alleyway, you see some Marley men smoking and drinking. They’d be easy targets if you wanted to kill them, hearing them speak and whistle as you both walked past. Before one of them grabbing your wrist made Jean’s instincts kick in.

He punched the guy who had touched you, his filthy hands still lingering close to your body. The way Jean with ease was able to put down the two men who looked bruised and battered.

He put his hand out for you to take, he didn’t speak. Just bringing you the comfort you needed from this whole new world experience. Everything was so much bigger outside the walls and you couldn’t ever imagine putting innocent people in walls to keep them trapped.

The events of the night led to an uncomfortable silence once you arrived back to little room on top of the shop. He stripped his shirt off due to the excessive dirt it had got on it. You admired his body, the way each muscle sat perfectly on his abdomen.

You sat on the bed fidgeting with your clothes, you played with the hem of the dress which Jean could see your upper thigh from you doing.“Do you want to talk more about it?”

“I just… i guess it’s the reality.” You muttered as Jean sat beside you his shirt off. Titans seemed less scary than any of these indoctrinated Marleyans any day.

In the years Jean had known you seeing you vulnerable and passive made his heart ache. He took you by the hand letting you attach yourself to his side.

You were scared about the upcoming invasion and even worse you didn’t even know who you’d be fighting. The uncertain of it all being too much.

He walked up to you, moving closer to your smaller frame. “You didn’t have to punch those guys, I...I would’ve said something.”

“Y/n, you’ve been silent all night, you expect me to believe that you would’ve done something.” He bends down his knees touching the ground as he kneeled in front of you. His hands moving to your own stopping you from playing with your dress anymore.

Bringing your hands up to his mouth he kissed it as you could see some bruises, you stroked your thumb against the bruises hopefully it would settle down with some ice later. “What you said back in the bar?” You start to speak but you really had nothing to say, “about not going to those men.”

“I didn’t want you to get hurt if you talked to them and…” He trailed off.

“And?” You question.

He looked up at your bright face filled with love and happiness something he hadn’t seen in a very long time. “And you bring joy, in a shitty world like this I guess you’re the only one who truly brings a smile on my face.”

“Jean when did you get so sappy.” You giggle at his flustered look.

“Oh, shut up.”

“Make me.” The tone in your voice was begging him to take you.

He rolls his eyes, his tongue flicking against the inside of his mouth as he stood up looking at you. He was even taller than before. You were a mouse compared to his frame; he bent his back bringing his face closer towards yours before a hand was placed on your cheek.

He closed the gap between the two of you, making your back hit the bed. His other hand moved to your side as he was on kissing you whilst he was on top. Your back arched at the movements wanting to feel his body on your own, as you deepened the kiss. Your hands in his long hair pulling his body closer to your own, as you felt the hardness come from his trousers.

“This was your plan all along, wasn’t its baby.” He spoke stoically a cocky grin plastered to his face.

You smirked as he let go of your lips, moving his mouth to your neck as he moved your dress down your body, with your collarbone and neck revealed for him. He left marks and sucked on spots making you moan his name loudly.

“I’d…I… would n…never.” The moans engulphed you, you craved him even more.

He had never expected to hear you moan his name, and the sound of it, with you underneath fuelled him even more to continue the act. You closed your eyes as he bit and sucked on your collar before licking the side of your neck. The saltiness it brought making him lick his lips before he went back to kissing you.

The kiss was deeper, quicker than it previously had been, you placed your hands on his exposed chest. The way a single touch from you sent shivers down his spine, “I’ve always like you, y’know.”

“I assumed so.” You giggled, his body was on top of you trapping you between his broad arms and shoulders. It was a sight and you loved it.

You brought yourself up leaning up with your elbows, your dress was half off you and the way he looked at you knew that what would happen tonight had been long awaited from many many years ago.
