Photo shootin' but still Moving...

One day, I'm unpacking boxes, putting bandaids on my paper-cut fingers and picking paint out of my hair... and the next day, I'm corseting my waist (as one does) while shooting with world-renowned, legendary rock'n'roll photographer, Jimmy Steinfeldt at theAndaz West Hollywood to kick off Grammys week.

Such was Friday for me, yesterday.

Thank you so much to everyone who was patient with my moving/unpacking brain and my va-va-voom dress and helped me to look - and, be - my best:

• to @ShesAbean for that gorgeous J.Lo glow, makeup & hair

• to Laurie Brucker for that delicious Jaime Elyse custom gown (and all of the strategic taping & pinning that went along with it

• to my influencer friends - Veena Goel Crownholm&Corey Marshall whom I got to invite to join me for the day of pampering and posing

• to Jimmy Steinfeldt Rock 'N' Roll Lens for making me feel like a rockstar even with paint in my hair

• to @MissEllieMcCoy who hung out with me on set for hours, and then slept during dinner, without so much as a peep

• and, to the lovely staff and pr team of the @AndazWeho for inviting me to be a small part of music history.

Now, it's back to unpacking these boxes.

While most people are content to say, “I’m writing a book,” and they’ve not written the first word, author, Marcia Moran, wrote her book after having a stroke. Some days, she would get two paragraphs done after writing for hours.
