So, I did some memory jogging, and since Marathon candy bars were discontinued in ‘81 and TRON came out in ‘82, I don’t think I remembered eating one at that movie, but being disappointed when the concession stand told us they no longer carried my go-to movie candy. When I was super little, like super little, I remember going to the movies and getting a Marathon bar, and I believe, seeing TRON. Maybe I’m wrong and it was the Black hole, or maybe a double feature or whatever. TRON is what I always remembered. Anyway, found out that was a very short-lived candy. It was just caramel braided and covered in chocolate, and the gimmick was it was very long. Well, I found out the Cadbury Curly Wurly bar from England, and maybe also Canada, is basically the same thing.
