Belle smiled brightly as she read the little card that came with the bouquet that had been dropped off, leaning in to inhale the scent of the colourful flowers before she noticed the person at the counter. She set the card down. “Sorry! I got a little distracted there. Did you want to pay for something or could I help you find what you are looking for?”

“This could be a good look for me, don’t you agree?” Ben asked somebody sat at a table not far from him as he poised the Burger King crown on his head. “If you ask me it’ll probably look better on you,” he added with a chuckle, getting up and offering it to the other.

“Nope, I didn’t watch Grease the other night, I have no idea what you mean,” Alex said with a grin. Of course it was an obvious lie as he was dressed exactly like Danny Zuko.

cora leant over, tying her hair into a loose bun she thought for a moment before straightening up. “do you think i should get a hair cut?” she questioned, not really talking to anyone specific rather anyone that would listen. “it’s getting a bit long and you know it’s kind of hard to do stuff in the gym when its flying everywhere.” she laughed at the thought. “i guess if you put it in a bun though it’s not going to be flying everywhere.” the brunette pressed her lips into a fine line. “what do you think?”

Ernest shoved his way through the crowded bar with his beer in hand, sneering at a drunken college student elbowed him in the ribs, sitting down in the first empty seat he could find. Ignoring the fact that the booth was already occupied, he made himself comfortable, taking a drink and wiping at his mouth with the back of his hand.  “I’m so sorry about this. Leave it to me to need a drink on the one night a week that college students get half off.” He shook his head, annoyed with himself.

“Look- I know no one asked, but all I’m saying is that if prompted or given the chance I could rap the entire Hamilton soundtrack perfectly.” Leo commented, holding his hands up with a smug expression on his face “I’m just using the gifts God gave me and blessing the world with my talents, you can’t be mad at me for that.” He continued, “So what’s your party trick?”

“Just when I thought I had seen everything... you prove me wrong. Bravo.”

loki's seated in the diner, looking over the menu with intent. they know full well what they like and what they would normally order, but they also want to try something a bit new. their attention moves to someone passing by their table and they quickly move to grab the other's attention. "quick, sit. i need your help with this."

“Sorry, you might have to repeat again just how you got yourself into this position.” Because Liliana wasn’t entirely certain she’d heard it right the first time.

“Do you really think I’m dumb enough to fall for that?” Katniss asked, an eyebrow raising. “Whatever you are attempting to accomplish, you won’t at this rate.”

The day hadn’t been very eventful for the young man, but that never stopped him from ending it in a bar. Flynn was busy enjoying one of a few drinks that night when he felt eyes on him. “What? I’m not working. Can’t a guy grab a drink – or two – without getting some side-eye for it?” he huffed at the other slightly, not seeming too bothered because his lips were soon on his glass once more.

Alec had been feeling under the weather since the dance. He wasn’t sure what was wrong with him, nor what was the cause of that constant headache. He tried to stay out of everybody’s way, not wanting to snap at them. When his shift was over, he decided to go for a run. He hoped that would help him somehow, maybe he simply needed more fresh air. After an hour he was almost ready to finish and go home when he stopped dead. There was a cat on his path and instead of running around it, Alec just stared at the animal. When the cat turned towards him, his heart started beating faster. Its eyes reminded him of something, someone, but how was it possible? He could picture a face, all the details were blurry apart from the eyes. Cat’s eyes. Alec swallowed hard, unable to move. When someone spoke up, he almost jumped. “What?” He snapped, turning towards the other.

“i’ve never been one to comment on fashion, i’ve never really cared enough.” the brunette commented, pressing her lips together in a fine line. “but what on earth are you wearing?” she questioned, tilting her head to the side in thought. “did you get it from a charity shop or did you let a bunch of uncoordinated toddlers dress you today?” nora questioned, a brow arched slightly.

Clara was sketching a new design on a bench in the park when she noticed an older couple feeding the birds together. She watched as they got up, walking hand in hand out of the park. “Aw... Isn’t that the most romantic thing you’ve ever seen?” She asked, looking over at the person who was sitting on the other end of the bench.

“Seriously why does the town have these foul things wandering around like they own the place.” Jace complained, backing up as a duck waddled towards him. “Seriously, they’re such free loaders, they do nothing but get in your way, steal people’s bread and cause chaos. Stupid bastards.”

“So I would totally recommend the cookies. Freshly baked this morning and probably what I’d call one of my specialities.” Zeke spoke with a hint of pride in his words from where he was stood next to the stand, fully donned out in the stylish suit.
