ARMY Independence Day?

Y’all make me so tired, I can’t even. I had to step away from the fandom because a majority of you guys don’t know when enough is enough.

You guys think you’re funny and popular out here saying you’re superior to other KPop fandoms and even that BTS is superior to other groups just because they’ve gained so much popularity outside of Korea? Step back to reality, sweetie.

Why does it constantly have to be a competition with everyone? Just because your group wins awards, it doesn’t make them better than the smaller, rookie groups, or those that come from tinier companies.

I adore BTS. I personally listen to their older music, because I’m not a huge fan of the way their music has changed (it just doesn’t fit my taste) but I absolutely cannot with ARMY. It’s not all of you, and I hate to blame the entire fandom, but a good chunk of you guys seem to think that BTS is superior to every KPOP group out there just because they’ve become mainstream at this point, and it’s so tiring. Other idol groups work just as hard, for just as long, release just as many bops, and neither they or their fans deserve or want to hear you saying you’re superior.

I’ve met ARMY that won’t even listen to other groups because “They’re not gonna be better than BTS, why even try lmao” and?? That’s pathetic. Why can’t we lift people up and support them and show love instead of just “WE’RE THE BEST! FUCK THE REST!”

If y’all don’t wanna classify yourselves as KPop anymore, go right ahead, won’t hurt our feelings one bit. But if that’s the case, you’re gonna have to stop comparing yourselves to other KPop groups. You’re not gonna get it both ways.
