More Manul Law
“Mugiwara-nya—!”
He is so mad and so fluffy. And, no one else in the lil au thing is a cat. Nothing other than Law & his backstory changes. Which leads to very funny scenes in Sabaody where it’s like. a huge guy, a deceptively small guy, and a fuckin. chonky floofball. shittalking each other.

Ok so I get an update to this:
Zoro definitely has a scary dog daemon - like a Rottie or a pitbull or something. One of those absolute brick shithouse of a dog, that also has the capacity of turning into the neediest whiniest baby when around humans they love. That is I feel a very good representation of Roronoa "I knew this weird rubber kid for a week and I would die for him" Zoro
Sanji get a heron of some kind. It's connected to water, which is nice for him. Long legs, also nice. They are also both extremely majestic and deeply dumb looking animals depending on what angle you look at them
Franky gets a beaver for obvious carpenter reasons
Not a Strawhat but Law should totally have a manul. Fluffy kitty. 10/10 would attach itself to your face and claw it off. The perfect creature to express the many emotions Law has to go through when dealing with the Strawhats. Bepo has one (1) challenger for fluffiest creature in this submarine and that is Law's daemon
Talk to us about the OP daemon au please? 👀
Tbh I haven't a lot to say yet because it's literally just starting to take root into my brain so I haven't decided on a lot of things yet
I did read a fic where Devil Fruit users who ate a Devil Fruit before their daemon settled got the classic magic user has bird daemon trope and it's definitely nice. I can see Robin with a corvid to cover the bird quota, intelligent critter quota, and creepy quota all at once. Absolutely no clue of what I'd give Luffy tho, I'm not that knowledgeable about birds so I'd have to do research
Not too sure about the others either. I think in a way it would be funny for Usopp to have a big scary spider? Both because it's funny to give the scaredy cat character a scary daemon, and because Usopp is a) crafty and b) an expert when it comes to using natural resources to make ammo. As for Nami, maybe one of those small monkeys that you always see in pirate media. It's pirate-y, and it's a good parallel to Nami being very handy (y'know, maps) while also having a mischievous association. That's about as far as my current ideas go
Absolutely no clue how to handle Brook lmao
That being said I think the Strawhats in general should be a bunch of weirdos who don't care at all about rules and freely touch each other's daemon because of found family. It doesn't have to be romantic they're just Nakama TM and that allows you to cuddle with other people's daemons. I think it would be pretty sweet. Especially if we have, say, the more emotionally controlled characters like Zoro have the cuddliest daemon who is always getting ear scritches from someone

as soon as i learn how to draw charr i am going to have such a good time pitting my Shiverpeaks-charr-population-Floofy-Gene-heir Vikaros against Ascalonian born-and-bred Tavryn. vik is one step away from manul cat levels of fluff. tav is so shorthair you wonder if she millimeter-trims her whole body. if it is warm, tav will be comfy as hell while vik suffers in as little armor as he can get away with. cold weather? tav is bundled the Fuck Up and vik is out and about like it’s room temperature. vik’s tail is fluffier than hers, but not by that much, just noticably. she is perfectly camouflaged her eternally fall-themed homelands. vikaros is invisible in snowy woodlands. (not counting armor here obviously, my dearest blueberry eyesore)
i have not been tavryn posting enough; she’s an interesting character, especially when putting her next to Vik. for one she is lawful good, but the practical execution of that in the High Legions as basically second-in-command of a warband means that she is not exactly on the Morally Good Side always. she does things Correctly according to the current paradigm. if the rest of the warband unilaterally decides on something slightly Lawfully Grey that they’re certain will turn out fine/better in the end, she’s the last to join in. her mental framework of duty, obligation and law is strong, and so the band really knows they’ll be fine if she agrees to whatever shenanigans they’re up to now.
she is not immune to wavering, though - when she does, and she trips over herself, it’s Severe and takes a while to get back up. after Claw Island, when Vikaros dragged them out of the High Legions snarling and brandishing his weapons at everyone who even seemed inclined to get in his way, she did not protest at the time, but afterwards, she needed a good few weeks to properly readjust herself, which the others had much less issue with. she’s solid and slow and steady. but she has trust in her Legionnaire/Captain, and that will always be her source of trust in her own decisions, too. moral compass outsourced, but only a little bit.

Manifestation Meditation
Mаnifеѕting mеditаtiоn is thе process оf mаtеriаlizing our dеѕirеѕ into the рhуѕiсаl wоrld. This iѕ dоnе through inсrеаѕing the vibrаtiоn within thе body аnd viѕuаlizing оur desired оutсоmеѕ and еxреriеnсеѕ.
Thiѕ саn only bе еffесtivе whеn wе аrе fullу аblе tо ѕtау соnnесtеd to the fееling that whаt we are аlrеаdу experiencing what wе wаnt аnd, аt the same timе, bеing ореn to thе Univеrѕе.

Manifestation mеditаtiоn cannot bе саrriеd оut rаndоmlу; thеrе are ѕtерѕ that ѕhоuld bе fоllоwеd if anything tаngiblе is gоing tо соmе оut оf it. The vеrу first thing уоu muѕt dо iѕ think hаrd аbоut whаt уоu want from life. Gо tо a quiеt рlасе whеrе уоu won't e disturbed by noise оr irritаting personalities. Once уоu hаvе fоund a place you саn thеn rеflесt on уоur lifе and mаkе ѕurе thаt уоu аrе ѕurе minded about whаt уоu wаnt. Write this dоwn аnd mаkе ѕurе уоu рin up the piece оf рареr оn thе wаllѕ оf your room.
Wе'vе seen ѕо mаnу оf оur own соllеаguеѕ аnd friеndѕ whо are so different аnd uniquе frоm еасh other. Almost еvеrуbоdу hаvе thеir оwn ѕеt оf tribulаtiоnѕ and trоublеѕ and уеt wе see thаt ѕоmе оf thеm аrе able to gеt over it easily than thе оthеr set оf the рubliс. Wе mау саll it happy gо luсkу or thе blessings from аbоvе оr thеir gооd fаtе whilе the truth асtuаllу liеѕ in the fасt thаt thеу bеliеvеd in thеmѕеlvеѕ thеу bеliеvеd that thеу could gеt оut оf the diѕturbing ѕituаtiоn and еvеntuаllу thеу did.
Aftеr deciding on your goal уоu should thеn dеtасh yourself аgаin and ѕit down tо ѕilеnсе. Bесоming rеlаxеd helps to mаkе your viѕiоn оf ѕuссеѕѕ сlеаrеr thаn еvеr before. The mind wоrkѕ a whole lоt better with ѕilеnсе аnd certainty; сlоgging уоur mind with rаndоm thoughts соnfuѕеѕ thе brain mаking, it unаblе tо mаnifеѕt drеаmѕ in thе еxасt mаnnеr уоu imаginе thеm. Some реорlе асtuаllу associate their success with an imаgе or thought thаt fillѕ thеm with соmраѕѕiоn; thе bеliеf is thаt thiѕ burning passion has a powerful еnеrgу.
Thе ѕесrеt ingrеdiеnt tо mаnifеѕtаtiоn is meditation:
When you meditate, you will find thаt it'ѕ еаѕу tо mаnifеѕt exactly whаt you want, because уоur аttеntiоn iѕ ѕinglе-роintеd: it'ѕ focused like a lаѕеr beam. Whеn уоur аttеntiоn iѕ fосuѕеd, whаt уоur аttеntiоn is fосuѕеd оn mаnifеѕtѕ and often mоrе quickly thаn уоu think роѕѕiblе.

In juѕt ten minutеѕ a dау, оr twice a dау if уоu'rе keen, уоu can сhаngе уоur life. You can mаnifеѕt аnуthing thаt you trulу desire. Thiѕ ѕоundѕ likе аn оutrаgеоuѕ сlаim, but it'ѕ quitе еаѕу to tеѕt it fоr уоu. After all, everyone саn ѕраrе ten minutes a dау.

NHRC Chief: Government needs to tell what it has done to end the menace of manual scavenging
Expressing serious concern over the continuance of manual scavenging in the country, Mr. Justice H.L. Dattu, Chairperson, NHRC said that the Government needs to tell what it has done to end this menace. Merely putting laws in place will not to be suffice; the ground realties need to change. He was inaugurating the NHRC’s ‘Open fourum discussion on the issues and challenges of manual scavenging and human rights at the Commission’s premisies in New Delhi on 24th May’19
Justice Dattu said that even after the intervention of the Supreme Court in the matter, it appears that the laws to eradicate manual scavenging are lying on the table and may remain so unless implemented proactively. It’s a curse on society that we continue to hear about the deaths of people while cleaning sewage without protective gear, which amounts to violation of human rights. We hear about such incidents happening in the National Capital, imagine what will be the situation in the other parts of the country. The Commission has taken suo motu cognizance of 34 such incidents in the recent past. The NHRC Chairperson said that this menace should have ended long back by adopting some system as in developed countries.
Ms. Nilam Sawhney, Secretary, Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment said that the eradication of manual scavenging remains very high on the priority of the Government. Several programmes, policies and welfare measures, including the legislative and programmitic interventions, have been introduced and are being implemented to achieve the desired results.
She said that as per 2018 survey, there are 173 districts in the country where the problem of manual scavenging still continues. 34,749 manual scavengers have been identified so far. Uttar Pradesh tops the list with 16663 followed by Maharashtra with 6387 manual scavengers. Efforts are on to identify the manual scavengers for their rehabilation through skill development and financial assistance. Identification of dry latrines and their replacement with proper toilets is an ongoing exercise. The Railways have upgraded more than 55 thousand coaches with bio toilets so that human excreta does not fall on the tracks. 464 workshops have been conducted in various Municipalties for awarness about the laws on eradication of the manual scavenging and welfare measures for the rehabilation of manual scavengers. The focus is on shifting hazardous cleaning to mechanized cleaning.
Mr. Jaideep Govind, Secretary General, NHRC said that no doubt work is being done to address the issue but a lot needs to be done to eradicate the manual scavenging and open defecation. Many open defecation free villages are returing to older ways; availability of water remains a concern. The Minsitires need to own up the lot of problems to help them find solutions thereof. He expected that they will proacticevely and timely send the requisite reports to the NHRC as well as the compliance reports.
Many important suggestions emerged during the discussions, some of which are as follows:
Ensure strict compliance of the legal provisons to eradicate manual scavenging;
Increase the amount of scholarship for the children of manul scavenger upto Rs 5000 per month;
Disclose data on the number of manual scavengers in every part of the country proactively;
Make it compulsory that only those will be engaged for the job for cleaning, who are trained for the job and registerd;
Conduct survey and an audit on the incidents of deaths while cleaning sewage/ drainage to know the causes and suggestions for remedial measures;
Release data on the people got scholarship and rehabilataed;
Prepare a safety gear a kit and provise it to the municipalities which can give it to to people involved inb the job of cleaning;
Besides the NHRC Members, Mr. Justice P.C.Pant, Mrs. Jyotika Kalra, the other participants included Mr. Arun Bakora, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ms. Yogita Swaroop, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Socila Justice and Empowerment Mrs. Deepa Bajwa, Director General, Defence Estates, Mr. V. K. Jindal, Joint Secreraetry, Ministry of Urban Housing Affairs, Mr. Alok Kumar, Executive Director, Railway Board, represenataives of UN and other international bodies and civil society, including among others, Mr. Bejwada Wilson, National Convener, Safai Karamchari Andolan, Ms. Suman Chahar, Vice Presodent, Sulabh International, senior officers of the NHRC Mr. Prabhat Singh, D.G.(I), Mr. Dilip Kumar, Joint Secretary(T&R), Dr. Ranjit Singh, Joint Secretary(P&A), Dr Sanjay Dubey, Director.

c I have used Chilton & Haynes repair manuals for years. I have always owned one or the other (or sometimes both) for every vehicle I have owned, plus some for family vehicles, as I am the "fix-it guy". Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that this particular manual didn't have the information in it for my truck (a 1997 Chevy) OR my Tahoe (a 1999). So what did I have to do? Buy a Chilton Manual. It had a little more accurate info, however it didn't cover everything either? What did I end up having to do? Buy a Haynes manual for a 1999-2006 Chevy Pickup, and it had the info I needed for the electrical, interior etc. (although not everything), but the info for the body was not right for my truck or Tahoe. I even took the time to contact Haynes, and their "tech support" was trying to tell me to look on this page or that page in this or that manual - -and they were dead wrong! THEN I find out Haynes & Chilton are now both owned by the same company? Like I said, I have used these manuals for years, but NEVER with as much incorrect or missing info as there has been for my truck & Tahoe. Go to Amazon
Years covered - 1988 thru first half of 1999 This is Chilton General Motors repair manual number 28624. On the cover is printed that it covers Chevy & GMC trucks up to the year 1998. That is slightly misleading - it also covers trucks manufactured during the first half of 1999, up to the newer model change that is covered in the Chilton manual number 28625 - for late model 1999 thru 2006 trucks. Go to Amazon
It is as good as any Chilton The more I learn about vehicles, the less I like about Chilton's notes. It does describe the basic of the automobiles, but with the introduction fo the internet, I can actually watch people do the job. I bought this to work on some specific of a 1993 K1500, but noticed that the CV joint comments and pictures were extremely limited and the fluid level checks for a manual transmission are almost void. It seems the part that you wish to repair is always the least talked about parts in the book. The book is good for general parts inspections, but limited where I needed it. I found better parts diagrams in LMC truck, which enhanced the Chilton drawings. It's a CHILTON which means it is GOOD, just not as GOOD as the internet that populates massive videos and how-to drawings. The book was in great shape as well the vendor. Go to Amazon
Very thick manual with all different models included I have previously been very disappointed with many repair manuals (other than Chilton) that have for instance: Go to Amazon
looks like they copied other Manuls Very generic....very broad...looks like they copied other Manuls...will help but not really SPECIFIC...cheers....Tim......Alaska Go to Amazon
not really accurate with a 1991 Chevy C3500 missing some info and diagrams don't match what am seeing on the truck. But this has been common with most Chilton books I've seen. Overall 90% of it is usable. Go to Amazon
Four Stars Bought this for my father-in-law. He says he really likes it, so there you go. Go to Amazon
Does the job. I have an older truck that needed some repairs, this book seem to do the job, and I was able to repair the broken system. Go to Amazon
Five Stars Five Stars Five Stars Five Stars Five Stars Dont waste your money Don't buy, worthless! Five Stars Thanks Very informative an well written manual! I recommend that everyone gets a Chilton manual for their vehicle!

I just think that Pallas Cats/Manuls are the most fitting cat for Law to be. Got spotty foreheads, grumpy golden eyes, tear tracks down the cheeks, and look so fed up but resigned with manhandling. And fluffy, did I mention fluffy?
But also imagine seeing a 3 billion beri bounty and it’s for a fuckin cat.

Even more manul law, because I have given up on denying the floofiness has taken over my life
Y’all ever see those videos where a manul kneads biscuits into their tails before settling down on ‘em? Law does this and yet acts like he isn’t the cutest lil pirate on the grandline.

I think if trafalgar law was a cat, he’d be a Pallas Cat/Manul. Very fluffy, very grumpy. Eternally pissed off looking, weird and skrunkly, and yet can have the biggest wettest saddest eyes and wet paper bag in a rainstorm aura too.
Also, they have spots on their heads and golden eyes which fits.
And, this gif has me thinking of Dressrosa Law. Carried around like a handbag, unhappy yet resigned to his fate:

Ensure strict compliance of the legal provisons to eradicate manual scavenging;
Increase the amount of scholarship for the children of manul scavenger upto Rs 5000 per month;
Disclose data on the number of manual scavengers in every part of the country proactively;
Make it compulsory that only those will be engaged for the job for cleaning, who are trained for the job and registerd;
Conduct survey and an audit on the incidents of deaths while cleaning sewage/ drainage to know the causes and suggestions for remedial measures;
Release data on the people got scholarship and rehabilataed;
Prepare a safety gear a kit and provise it to the municipalities which can give it to to people involved inb the job of cleaning;
Besides the NHRC Members, Mr. Justice P.C.Pant, Mrs. Jyotika Kalra, the other participants included Mr. Arun Bakora, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ms. Yogita Swaroop, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Socila Justice and Empowerment Mrs. Deepa Bajwa, Director General, Defence Estates, Mr. V.
