im so conflicted about gravel on the one hand it’s usually full of quite cool looking rocks and they’re very small and easy to pick up and pocket but they’re also almost certainly carted in from elsewhere and therefore don’t tell you anything about the ‘real’ geology of a given place and aren’t a good souvenir bc they’re so generic. I mean they’re specific to someplace but once they’re dumped out on the side of a road they lose all original geographic ties. however they still look cool and ill still be picking them up

So I have several painting projects around the house.
We chose the color "vanilla soy" as our neutral off-white.
And the color "alpha male" is in the top running for what I'm painting our bathroom.
I feel like if we have "vanilla soy" and "alpha male" paints in the same house we might be casing some sort of hex on ourselves. Summoning the essences of basic bitches and the worst douchbros to do battle in our halls....

Concept for your desire to do a specific bracket tournament that isn't weighted against OCs: EVERY character is represented by a Picrew or a stock image, and EVERY character has the name of their source work written without any indication if it's actually published (if the WIP does not yet have a title, a placeholder title is used without indicating that it is such). Voters won't know if the character is from something published that they simply haven't heard of yet
The problem with this is that it would still have the issue of things being weighted towards popular characters - people still know who The Knight from Hollow Knight is, even if we don't use an official image and instead used a stock image of the void or painstakingly reconstruct them in a Picrew. The main thing that gets people to vote in a tournament is connection - knowing the character or the people attached to them.
The thing that biases things against OCs in this tournament is, primarily, their limited spread - the lack of people who would be familiar with them. Though more well-known OCs can circumvent this enough to stand on firm ground with characters - someone like spotsupstuff's Three Sparrows On A Wire, for example, might have a solid chance in a tournament with canon characters, there will still be less people invested in Sparrows than there are, say, people invested Humans-B-Gone!'s Sophodra.
Because the thing with canon characters is that, by definition, you've already seen them in action. They already have a story that you can readily access, compared to an OC, where the creator has to write and present the story themself - and a story that's never been written is very, very difficult to invest people in. You can't put the emotional impact of someone you've followed for a million words up against the emotional impact of a cool design you saw in the interwebs, and if you have to create emotional investment in the space of a bio, you're naturally going to fare worse than someone who's had hundreds of pages to win you over.
Really, the only way we can see it working well is something like that @guess-that-ship's format of "text only, can't name anything that would give the game away in regards to who it is", and for obvious reasons, that's... not quite going to work the same way.

A Combo X150 Plant was commissioned by our ardent client, a CDE Asia plant owner- Shreenathji Stone Quarry in Gujarat
Shreenathji Stone Quarry is an organization of repute, a leading quarry owner, and sand & aggregates supplier in Chikhli, Gujarat that is associated with various urban infrastructure projects in the area. As a matter of natural progression, and due to the business foresight of the owner, they have expanded their base to the sand market, to leverage the emerging demand for M-Sand in the market.
Shreenathji has been associated with us since 2018 with its primary investment in Combo X70 powered by European technology by CDE Asia. However, for their two crushing units of 120 TPH each at Chikhli and assessing the rising demand for M-Sand in infrastructure projects in Gujarat, the client was ready to explore sand washing systems of advanced technologies.
The need of the hour was to achieve a continuous supply of consistent quality M-Sand from an advanced sand-washing plant. To achieve this, the client wanted to utilize the 0-5mm output generated as VSI Dust from their crushing unit to generate quality concrete M-sand (Zone II) and plaster sand, thereby adding to its top line.
Our officials had a meeting with Mr. Jaimin Gondaliya, Director of Shreenathji Stone Quarry to thoroughly analyze the current situation. After carefully assessing the client’s requirements, we introduced the clients to CDE Asia’s latest innovation in the Combo line of sand washing equipment - Combo X150, ideal for unhindered, finest quality M-Sand supply.
Combo X150 is equipped for feeding, grading, dewatering, water recycling, conveying, and sludge handling - the plant is an all-in-one solution. It can efficiently process the VSI dust from crushing operations to produce quality concrete M-Sand (Zone II) with a high silt removal capacity of 15%. It has an impressive feed capacity of 150 TPH, 95% water recycling capacity, and up to 30% energy conservation capabilities, and emits below 80db noise. The plant can operate for more than 18 hours a day and has a compact design requiring a significantly less geographical area to install. The plant is also an ideal solution for saving the overall cement consumption in construction and promises higher returns.
As a consequence of old ties and newfound confidence, the Combo X150 plant was commissioned in early 2022.
