Binging the hell outta Manifest. Loving it, and I love like 99% of the characters but oh my fucking god, JARED.

“I’m facing the consequences of my own actions and it’s all Michaela’s fault.” Like bruh, get over yourself lol. Michaela at least acknowledges it was 50% her fault what happened with Lourdes, but no, Jared’s here like, “Michaela is the reason I lost my wife and not the fact that I kept pursuing Michaela despite her telling me to stop and the fact that I literally showed up at her telling her I loved her.” And now his ass is probably getting fired and he’s definitely gonna be like, “How dare Michaela get me fired because the fact that I leaked confidential information, stole confidential files, and joined a hate group that I helped get away with crimes clearly is totally not the reason I’m being sacked.”

Honestly, one of the reasons I like Michaela so much is that she’s a character who has fucked up big, but she NEVER tries to blame other people for her fuck ups. Even in situations where someone might have pushed her to the point where she fucked up.

ok so i have a hazbin hotel theory (specifically about the vees) my friend brought to my attention that i haven’t seen anyone post about so i’m gonna do it here

ok so we have all seen the v tower, it is one of the only buildings in hazbin that is given significant detail and more specifically it is one of the ONLY CIRCULAR SHAPED BUILDINGS!!!

why is this a relevant detail you ask?? because the circular shape of the v tower looks EXTREMELY SIMILAR to the tower of babel!!!

for those of you unfamiliar w/ the story of the tower of babel, essentially the story goes that humans built a tower to try and reach heaven and as punishment for their hubris god cursed them all to speak in tongues aka babble!

the story of hubris perfectly lines up w/ the current attitude the vees have, especially towards powerful players like charlie and alastor. I think they will pay a similar price for their pride, especially w/ lucifer and heaven taking a more active role in the coming season.

the vees primary influence is thru their influence so if they were cursed w/ an inability to communicate or smth of the likes it would be a MAJOR HIT to their power!!!

everything in hazbin and the hellaverse are drawn vv intentionally! the heaven embassy looks like a church, the serephim are all depicted w/ three pairs of wings, the deadly sins are drawn based on biblical descriptions of them!!! this is why i think the v tower looking like the tower of babel is not merely coincidence!!

I wanna talk about Kino Medarda, because act 1 of season 2 is hinting that we're gonna find out more about him.

In this scene, Mel moves the paper over her family portrait, revealing her big brother to us. There's something I noticed about him in this picture: he's making a face at Ambessa.

I think it's safe to say that they didn't have a good relationship. We know from what Mel says in her flashback that Kino disapproved of war, and that Ambessa disapproved of his disapproval. But if he was never banished, he must have learned to hide his emotions better than Mel.

I have heard the occasional theory that Kino is alive, and while I'm not going to say I agree with it, I think it's not outside the realm of possibility. What I will say is that Kino was killed by the Black Rose, the same organization that kidnapped Mel in episode three. And Mel is still alive.

Anyway, I'm excited to learn more about Kino and see if my interpretations of his relationships with Ambessa and Mel are similar to what the show reveals.

Brave and perhaps controversial take-

I personally think Tommy has so many more daddy issues than Buck.

Like absolutely Buck has parental issues over all, and Bobby was the dad that came through for him all the way when Philip couldn’t/wouldn’t. I’m never gonna minimize his trauma like that.

But I will say that I think Tommy would’ve much preferred Philip Buckley to be his dad than probably-Thomas-Kinard-Senior-cause-Tommy-is-def-a-junior.

Idk, I feel like the scene in the last episode about daddy issues has a lot of people talking about Buck’s daddy issues and not about Tommy’s that he definitely hasn’t fully faced yet (please please I want Tommy trauma exploration in s8!)

I know Netflix is garbage, but I am so tired of all the bullshit with official Nocturne Olrox merch. He's available on precisely two (technically three if you count the blu-ray) things: a blind box keychain set where you have a 1 in 11 chance to get him and it's over $100 to get an assured chance of getting him, and an expensive statue. So we've got gambling, and now Dark Horse Direct had manufacturing issues and have had to cancel pre-orders for the statue (though they've said they're going to put up pre-orders for it again soon).

Like... could you idiots at Netflix just design more merch of him? He's really popular.

(Yes, I'm aware fan merch exists, but I would also love official merch where I can get it)
