I dont think the Mandalorians would do that, but imagine after months of living with them, there's dismay and resentment beginning to bubble beneath the surface.
Grogu is force sensitive and allowed to use his training against the other Foundlings who don't have the same advantages. The others of course see it as unfair, if he's training to be a Mandalorian he should follow their ways to a "T".
Din tries to defend his kid by saying he can't help being force sensitive, everyone in the covert had different abilities, Grogu was no different.
Din begins fighting with some of the other Mandalorians bc one of them either touched his kid too roughly or teased Grogu for being different.
Imagine a fight breaking out and the climax coming when all the Mandalorians watch on as Din holds this speech: he thought being a Mandalorian wasn't just about wearing the armor and swearing the creed, he thought it was about people who are different finding a place where they can coexist together. They were already small in numbers, did they want to lose their tribe over differences that held them all together in the first place?
I just wanna see protective daddy Din duking it out with other Mandalorians for daring to tease or belittle his little green son and questioning everything about the Mandalorians and their old ways please😭

The Watch and Mando Culture Part 2: Speculation
What is “The Way”?
As discussed in Part 1, Mandolorian Creed splintered between Reformists and Conservatives, with reformists later becoming fully pacifists (aside from a dedicated warrior group known as The Protectors).
Bo Katan was a high ranking member of Death Watch, choosing loyalty to Death Watch and it’s leader Pre Vizla over loyalty to her own sister who ruled the pacifist government.
As loyalty to clan is a central tenant of Mandolorian culture, having a clan split on ideological lines is a big deal. The Civil War decimated the Clan, orphaning the girls, so that all that remained of Clan Kryze were  Bo Katan and Satine.
The Canons loyalty, the actions say loyalty to family and to your ruler. Bo Katan believed her Clan’s loyalty should be to House Vizla.
The trauma of the war left both leaning hard into opposing ideologies. Satine chose extreme reformation, abandoning warrior culture all together because the cost of war is too great, and Bo Katan chose extreme conservatism because you will not lose what you hold dear if you’re the strongest and the way of the universe is the strong survive.
If the world is predator and prey, Death Watch chose to be predators.
Tumblr media
(this includes, among other things, treating people like chattel to be examined and smacked/sexual assault)
Death Watch were the ‘bad guys’, conservative extremists that wanted to uphold and restore a tradition of violence and oppression.
When Bo Katan meets Din Jarin, she tells him that he’s from The Children of the Watch. That what he’s been raised to believe is being a Mandolorian is actually a fringe sect that the former extremist conservative factions think is a bit too far.
"Children of the Watch are a cult of religious zealots that broke away from Mandalorian society. Their goal was to reestablish the ancient way."―Bo-Katan Kryze
Bo-Katan Kryze, high ranking member of a religious extremist group who were an active terrorist insurgency with the goal of reestablishing the ancient way considers Children of the Watch a cult and calls them zealots.
Ok - so at some point there was a schism within the right wing religious extremist Mandolorians where a splinter went off to be even more conservative. What are the differences, so far I can only discus two things:
1: Helmets
What we know so far is even Death Watch Mandolorians would remove their helmets among their own people/ since eyes/facial expressions can be used to express sincerity.
If a Mandolorian is greeting you as a comrade (family, friend, ally, person you respect) they will remove their helmet and hold it. It is a sign of respect.
Tumblr media
Here we have Clan Wren, formerly Death Watch, so a more traditional values family. Note that only three have removed their helmets. The mother and her two children, as they are blood family removing their helmets solidifies their familiarity and respect. They can remove their helmets in front of others, but will only remove their helmets specifically for those they wish to show respect to.
With Mandolorian society being somewhat feudalistic with families belonging to more powerful families, small Clans belong to the greater Clans they serve, these Clans serve Houses. Even after Death Watch was disbanded, these alliances are still part of their identity. When giving their identity to another mandolorian they they will state their connections and alliances I am Clan X, House Y.
"What's your house?" "I'm Clan Wren, House Vizsla."
You are your clan. You are your House. When Sabine states she is House Vizla she is met with hostility from the Protectors who identify her as a member of Death Watch and a traitor (their order having fought against Death Watch since the Civil War). Sabine clarifies that her mother was in Death Watch, she is not, but she still gave Vizla as her House. It’s still part of her identity.
Tumblr media
Here we see Bo Katan Kryze greeting Sabine Wren. Note, both Clan Kryze and Clan Wren are House Vizla. This is how traditional conservative mandolorians greet one another, removing the helmet to speak, if they view you with respect and as an ally.
So not only are the Children of the Watch forbidden from ever removing their Helmet, the entire etiquette and language of that etiquette around helmet wearing is gone.
This is also interesting because who removes their helmet signifies who speaks for the group/is declaring themselves to be ally and friend. Removing the helmet is not a sign of submission but of a kinship greeting, families greeting families, leaders of clans greeting leaders. The etiquette conveys not only respect but relationships. Who is the leader and who is the leader’s peer, who speaks for a the Clan or is a member of the family by blood.
2: Names
Speaking of Clans, let’s talk about names or lack of names. When Din questions if they are really Mandolorians after the remove their helmets in greeting (cultural split and loss of tradition = communication breakdown) she identifies herself as a Mando by giving her Clan name (she is no longer under a House as she ascended to the throne of Mandalore, so everyone else is under her House now).
Tumblr media
Din never tells anyone his name. So perhaps the Children of the Watch do not have names and clans. Their Clan is their Signet, Clan of the Mudhorn. They are all just family in their Creed but Foundlings aren’t adopted but rather join the Creed and earn their own Clans.  Maybe to prevent in-fighting and power struggles they’ve erased Clan ties?
