Why is this happening? We had a great time last night working on the Roadster lights with the @mandlabs_inc kit but this kind of stumped us... When inserting a new LED in a parallel circuit built on the breadboard some of the LEDs would simply turn all others off. I suspect the voltage these LEDs use is lower and this causes the voltage to drop... maybe? But this is a parallel circuit so technically this shouldn't happen. Right? BTW, all out LEDs are mixed so we really don't know the voltage and couldn't find the voltmeter anywhere... I had to help connect the tracks because we used 20mm long 2mm friction pins that were both, hard to install and too short. Note to self to read and pay close attention to comments and notes on Thingiverse! Someone actually gave the right size and info. Andy got to play again with his @mandlabs_inc during testing and even dropped the track on the floor a few times. Still working. To glue or not to glue (the engine), that is the question. The original #3Dprinted parts did not have holes for the motor screws so the motors may come loose inside while operating. The tracks are going on today and then on to the serious tinkering.
