Hi! I'm a big fan of the work you do, and I was hoping that I could make a request! Headcanons for Midnight, Mt Lady, Ryukyu, and the Wild Wild Pussycats (Sorry if this is a lot! Please feel free to take as much time as you need if you choose to do this! Also I think that the Wild Wild Pussycats deserve more love from the MHA community) with their adopted son or daughter who suffered from abuse by their previous family and now has a hard time dealing with their trauma.

Midnight, Ryukyu and Mandalay x Adopted, Abused Child Reader

The story here is that your parents were drug addicts or criminals that basically ignored you. You were 8 when you were saved. Each of these guys have different scenarios on how they found you as well as how your life is with them. (Sorry if it’s a little redundant)

Midnight:

Your parents were drug addicts that cooked meth and barely ever paid you any attention

You had gotten used to constant hunger and had learned to live off of dumpster diving

You’d go to the dumpsters behind stores and collect whatever goods/food you could find

Places you often went to were beauty stores since you learned that there was money to be made by selling the products that the stores dump

You were quirkless which is why you were constantly on your own. You’re parents had no idea where you were half of the time and didn’t care

One day when Nemuri had the day off she saw the dirty and malnourished child walk into the alley behind the makeup store

She followed you and saw you climb into the dumpster and start filling up a small backpack with items from the dumpster such as lotions, lipsticks, foundations, perfumes, etc.

When you had finished, you climbed out only to see Nemuri staring down at you

When she asked what you were doing, you immediately tried to run away but she quickly used her quirk to put you to sleep

After finding out about your situation when she brought you to the hospital, your parents were arrested and charged with child neglect and endangerment

Nemuri noticed that you would rarely ask for things and had a hard time advocating for yourself

If she didn’t bring something up first, then you’d likely ignore it or wouldn’t say anything

You felt immense guilt in simply asking for a snack or a hug or things like that

So she started having you use a journal to help you understand and validate your feelings. She’d leave a notepad with a box for you to write down your thoughts and feelings so that you guys can read them together when she has the time

Ryukyu:

You had been another child who was used by the Shei Hassaikai. Your quirk allowed for your blood to cure all types of illnesses

Your parents sold you to Chisaki due to them being in debt and needing the money

Chisaki was using you to create vaccines

When the Raid took place, you managed to escape but were terrified of men

Since Ryukyu was one of the few females involved, she decided to adopt you

You originally hated touch but learned to love it after awhile

Your favorite thing is cuddling with Ryukyu

Ryukyu brings you to her agency and has you do your homeschooling there. If you want to go to public school then that’s fine, but while you’re healing, you get to stay with her

She tells people to let you come to them instead of walking up to you

Nejire is like a big sister to you

Wild Wild Pussycats, Mandalay:

In this case, your parents weren’t as bad, but they weren’t the best. They struggled to understand you and how your mind worked which ultimately led them to unintentionally neglecting you

You were a very quiet child and had a hard time with talking, not that you couldn’t talk, it’s just that speaking was very difficult for you

Your parents lived in a cabin in the woods and you loved it, until a forest fire broke out, you see, your quirk is fire manipulation, basically fire bending, you were playing outside at night when you accidentally set fire to the forest

It quickly spread and ended up consuming your home at night, your parents tried to drive away but they realized you weren’t with them which led them to suffocate from the thick smoke whilst they searched for you

You thought your parents abandoned you so you stayed put in your little tent in the woods. Your quirk allowed to keep the fire at bay but the panic and fear caused the flames to out of control

When the Wild Wild Pussycats got the call, Ragdoll reported your location and quirk. Pixie-Bob used her earth manipulation to smother the flames. While Tiger searched the area, Mandalay tried talking to you telepathically

She helped you breathe and calm down, as you breathed, the flames seemed to grow and shrink with your breathes. After you calmed down, Mandalay eventually reached you and brought you to their place in the woods

Originally you were terrified of fire due to the trauma of accidentally killing your parents, even though they ignored you often

Mandalay introduced you to her nephew Kota, Kota saw how terrified of fire you were and showed you his water quirk

Together with therapy and the joined help of Mandalay and Kota, you slowly learned to accept your quirk and lost your fear of it

Kota also helped you with speech therapy and you slowly learned to speak

Every step of progress you made, no matter how small, was celebrated and praised, even when you relapsed your were congratulated for your effort

Thankfully Together MHA Ships/Writing Sparks for Nov.

I usually write character x reader plots, but I wanted to do some short posts for character x character pairings (that I ship). I'm going to attempt to do a different ship every day for the entire month of November (30 ships at the least though I may do more if I finish early). I'm currently short 3 ships.

Your POV

The convention center was. Huge.

And hectic and very warm.

When I first got there, I was given an information packet and ushered by multiple bodyguards through the back entrance and into one of the many staff rooms. The door had a makeshift sign on it reading: "Following heroes only" and a list of four hero names, Shockwave being one of them I only recognized one other name on the sheet and-

"Oh jesus." I whined as I entered. Aizawa followed closely behind.

At this point, I felt like I was in some teenager's forced proximity fanfiction.

I took a seat on one of the plush couches that sat in the room, helping myself to a bottle of water that sat on a cooling tray on the coffee table. Opening the information packet, I found a schedule as well as an identification card on a ribbon.

Two other heroes entered the room, laughing with one another. They looked our way and introduced themselves.

"I'm Mandalay!" One of them chirped, holding up her large paw to wave as she used the other to push her brown hair out of her eyes.

"Pixie-Bob!" The other cheered. I was taken aback with their high energy.

"Eraserhead, and this is..." Aizawa trailed off, gesturing vaguely to me as he shook both of their..paws.

Mandalay perked up. "It's Shockwave: The Music Hero!" She chimed. "You're the one climbing the ranks like crazy!"

Once again, I felt my face heat up and smiled humbly. I still wasn't used to being recognized. I nodded as we all sat down once again.

"Yeah.. so I've heard," I responded sheepishly. I was having a hard time looking her in the eye and instead stared down at my schedule.

In the next hour, I had a meet and greet, a hero "togetherness panel," and a q and a.

"This all feels very..." Aizawa started, "superficial."

I agreed, but Pixie-Bob clearly didn't. She mewled before speaking.

"As heroes, it is our job not only to protect, but to inspire!" She chided. "If we don't put effort into interacting with the very people we live to serve, why would they trust us to continue in such a position?!"

Wow. She looked like she was about to cry.

Mandalay agreed, standing and pushing one giant paw into the air in a victory pose.

Aizawa sighed, resting his head against the back of the couch and closing his eyes. He swallowed hard. I watched out of the side of my eye as the muscles of his shoulders and over his neck moved ever so slightly before turning my gaze away, embarrassed.

"At this time, would all of the present heroes please begin making their way to their first events. The public enters in... 27 minutes, yo!" Mic's very distinctive voice rang over a hidden speaker system. I wondered for the moment how he managed to get the staff to let him on the PA system.

We all stood, and Aizawa held the door open for me and the two other ladies. As I walked past, he whispered.

"Fix your costume. Your skirt is tucked into your belt."

I felt shivers run down my spine at the feeling of his voice so close to me. So much so that I nearly forgot to feel for the part of my skirt that had gotten moved upwards.

Surely enough, a small section of the skirt was moved up and tucked into my Soundwave belt. I nearly squeaked as I pulled it out and flattened the material to lay how it was supposed to.

The first event I was scheduled for was the meet-and-greet. I wandered around a little aimlessly until I found the booth I was assigned to and found a nearby staff member.

"Yeah so you're gonna be standing here and just wait for a line to form. Talk to the people and take pictures and whatnot."

I nodded and walked back in front of my booth. The paper behind me was decorated with music notes and Soundwaves. Cute.

Within the next few minutes, I faintly heard the large doors of the convention center open from across the facility, and people began pouring in. The excited chatter filled my ears as people lined up at the booths on either side of me.

And yet nobody in my line.

That is until-

"Shockwave!" A young girl cheered as she approached me with who I assumed was her mother. The woman smiled at me as she approached and pulled out her phone.

The girl came up to me with stars in her eyes. Her pupils were shaped like music notes, and I noticed that her wavy hair was actually in soundwave patterns. She wore a makeshift parody of my hero costume, complete with a piano print belt.

That detail she added herself.

I crouched down and smiled wide for the camera. Once the picture was taken I turned to the girl.

"What's your quirk, sweetheart?" I asked, trying not to let my self consciousness get the best of me.

She absolutely beamed before diving into detail about all the things her powers could do.

"Okay, honey, let's go meet the other heroes before we have to go!" The girl's mother reached out for her hand.

As the two walked away, I straightened to find a small line forming in front of my booth. I was shocked that so many people wanted to meet me.

For the next hour, I took photos, smiled, talked, and posed. There wasn't a moment after that little girl that I wasn't interacting with hero nerds from across the country.

Then, the people were ushered out of the large halls and into different auditoriums in the building. I made my way to the one that I was meant to be in and stood backstage, waiting to be let on by a staff member.

Honestly, the entire rest of the day went by in pretty much a blur. I answered questions for an hour or two, and then the civilians were all asked to leave as the heroes banquet began.

A few hundred famous heroes, all absolutely demolishing the tables upon tables of food set out for them.

I sat once again with Hawks, though this meal was much less tense and much more tired.

Who knew that meeting people for a few hours would be exhausting.

We were left to our own devices for a while before being asked to make our way back to our respective hotels.

As soon as I was back in the hotel, I took my high-heeled boots off and cursed the idea that my costume designers valued looks over practicality.

"You look tired," a deep voice commented as Aizawa entered the room.

I snickered. "Says you." I sat down on the bed, and I felt the weight of another person on the other side of the mattress.

He let out a sigh as he laid back, once again closing his eyes. I tried to just let the silence be, but after a while, I couldn't help it.

"How was your meet and greet?" I asked, turning my head slightly to wait for his answer.

He shrugged. "Boring. Not many people care to take pictures with a shadow man."

I hummed. My phone buzzed. I checked the caller ID and picked up.

"Get your ass down to the bar and hang out with us!" Hawk's voice rang. I furrowed my eyebrows and checked the ID again.

"How did you get Nemuri's phone?" I asked.

"I'm here, Y/n!" The woman's voice rang, then continued, "Come drink!"

There was loud music beating in the background of the call. I sighed.

"Ugh, fine. Just let me get out of my costume."

"Hurry up!" Hawks demanded jovially, then hung up.

I rolled my eyes and stood, stretching before grabbing new clothes and walking towards the bathroom to change.

"Going back down to the bar?" Aizawa asked when I entered the bedroom again. I nodded.

"Yeah. Hawks wanted me to go down and hang out."

"You two are getting close aren't you?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I guess. See ya."

The man nodded. "See ya."

Then he shuffled into a more comfortable position to sleep, and I left.

Wild Wild Pussycats x Nomu Reader Pt 1

This is my first post ever here so please don't judge me if this ends up being totally shitty. This is also probably gonna end up being short. This is also a one shot, but I may make it into an actual story later on if people end up liking it more than I expect.

When they first found out about the fact that you had gone missing, of course they were concerned. You had grown to see them as family over the time that you have known them, and they've been good friends with you. They knew that you were out on a mission when you had disappeared and they put all of their time into finding you. Other heroes helped aswell, as you were well known and kinda popular. Mandalay was like a sister to you and Pixie Bob had a bit of a thing for you that she made painfully obvious, Tiger was always the guy you went to for sparring and just hanging out whenever you weren't out doing hero work, and Ragdoll was your best friend for a long time. She was the most affected by your sudden disappearance, crying nonstop over the fact that you could be dead or worse at the hands of God knows who. Tiger was angry at himself for not being there to try and help with whatever had happened. One thing that they all knew well was that this couldn't have been some accident, and it certainly was not a coincidence that you disappeared during one of your routine patrols. They had been looking for you ever since you had disappeared, choosing to not give up on you no matter what. To them you were like family, amd they would not allow anything like this to happen. They shouldn't have allowed it to happen. They had no idea that they would indeed end up finding you. Just not the way they'd hoped. The Wild Wild Pussycats had managed to find a lead as to where you might be, standing outside of what looked to be an abandoned warehouse that hadn't been in use by anyone in quite some time. Other heroes and police had arrived aswell, surrounding the building.

Tiger: "This is the place."

Mandalay: "Let's go get Y/N back."

Ragdoll and Pixie Bob both nodded as several other heroes, Eraser Head, Present Mic, All Might, and Mirko walked up to the door. All Might easily ripped it open as police stormed in, checking everywhere for any signs of you. However, everyone froze in a mix of fear and shock by what they saw. Inside, there were dozens of glass containers that held what looked to be nomus that were recently being created. Each one had a designated number labeled on the container, most being completely unrecognizable as the human they once were.

Ragdoll: "Oh god....all these people..."

Ragdoll had to look away from the horrible sight of it all for a moment, not wanting to think of all the pain that they had to suffer through up to this point. These were all innocent people at one point. People that had lives, families that they had to love and care for. But now they were being made into weapons. Living weapons. However, there was one container that held a special nomu that was being designed to fight against even the strongest of heroes. A high end nomu. That wasn't the shocking part though as Ragdoll's eyes widened upon seeing a name engraved on the container that was holding it, tears slowly forming in her eyes as she reads it.

Ragdoll: "Y-Y/N.....No...."
