Introduction
There are no new ideas. There are only new ways of making them felt.
—Audre Lorde[1]
People who talk about revolution and class struggle without referring explicitly to everyday life, without understanding what is subversive about love and what is positive in the refusal of constraints—such people have a corpse in their mouth.
—Raoul Vaneigem[2]
Do not think that one has to be sad in order to be a militant, even though the thing one is fighting is abominable.
—Michel Foucault[3]
I
This book is an attempt to amplify some quiet conversations that have been happening for a long time, about the connections between resisting and thriving, about how we relate to each other in radical movements today, and about some of the barriers to collective transformation.
There is something that circulates in many radical movements and spaces, draining away their transformative potential. Anyone who has frequented these spaces has felt it. Many (including us) have actively participated in it, spread it, and been hurt by it. It nurtures rigidity, mistrust, and anxiety precisely where we are supposed to feel most alive. It compels us to search ourselves and others ruthlessly for flaws and inconsistencies. It crushes experimentation and curiosity. It is hostile to difference, complexity, and nuance. Or it is the most complex, the most nuanced, and everyone else is simplistic and stupid. Radicalism becomes an ideal and everyone becomes deficient in comparison.
The anxious posturing, the vigilant search for mistakes and limitations, the hostility that crushes a hesitant new idea, the way that critique becomes a reflex, the sense that things are urgent yet pointless, the circulation of the latest article tearing apart bad habits and behaviors, the way shaming others becomes comfortable, the ceaseless generation of necessities and duties, the sense of feeling guilty about one’s own fear and loneliness, the clash of political views that requires a winner and a loser, the performance of anti-oppressive language, the way that some stare at the floor or look at the door. We know these tendencies, intimately. We have seen them circulating, and felt them pass through us.
When we began talking with friends about this, there were immediate head nods, and sometimes excited eruptions—“YES! Finally someone is going to talk about this publicly!” No one knew exactly what it was or where it came from, but many knew exactly what we were talking about. Like us, they had felt it and participated in it. They had discussed it quietly and carefully with people they trusted. But it was hard to unpack, for a whole bunch of reasons. To complain or criticize it came with the risk of being attacked, shamed, or cast out. This phenomenon is difficult to talk about because it presents itself as the most radical, the most anti-oppressive, the most militant. It shape-shifts and multiplies itself: sometimes it appears as one rigid line, at other times as a proliferation of positions, arrayed against each other. How is it that explicitly radical, anti-oppressive, or anti-authoritarian spaces—the places where people should feel most alive and powerful—can sometimes feel cold, stifling, and rigid? What contributes to a climate in which one is never radical enough, where we have to continually prove our radicalness to others? What makes insecurity, distrust, anxiety, guilt, and shame so pervasive? Where does all this come from? What is this thing? Is it one thing, or many? What activates it, stokes it, and how can it be warded off?
We are not the first to try to get ahold of this phenomenon. It has gone by many names—sad militancy, grumpywarriorcool, manarchism, puritanism—each of which emphasizes different elements and sources. In this book, we call it rigid radicalism. Our research and experience lead us to think that its origins are as diverse as the phenomenon itself. Some say rigid radicalism comes from the way heteropatriarchy poisons intimacy with trauma and violence, while separating politics from everyday life. Others point to origins in the narcissistic and guilt-ridden individualism nurtured by whiteness. Or it is the way schooling replaces creativity and curiosity with conformity and evaluation. Or the humiliation of a life organized by capitalism, in which we are all pitted in petty competitions with each other. Or the way cynicism evolves from attempts to avoid pain and failure. Or it is identity politics fused with neoliberalism. And the terror and anxiety of a world in crisis. And the weakening of movements and a decline in militancy. Or it is the existence of radical milieus as such. And the deep insecurity nurtured by social media and its injunction to public performance. Or it is morality, or ideology, or the Left, or the Maoists, or the nihilists, or the moralists, or the ghost of Lenin. Probably there is some truth to all of these: it is definitely a tangled web.
It is important to say, from the outset, that we do not think the problem is simply anger, conflict, or difference. Whenever people name and challenge oppression and violence, there are almost always reactionaries telling them they are doing it wrong, that they need to be polite, nice, reasonable, peaceful, or patient. We want nothing to do with attempts to regulate resistance.
For this reason, we do not believe rigid radicalism can be countered by inventing a new set of norms for how to behave, or setting out a new ideal of what radicalism should be. There can be no instructions. This would just create a new ideal to measure ourselves against. It would just add to a long list of shoulds, dos, and don’ts that reactivates the problem. We hope to help undo tendencies towards regulation and policing, rather than playing into them.
Maybe we are stoking rigid radicalism right now, in writing about it. Searching out its roots and inner workings can recreate a stifling atmosphere where we feel like we are stuck, always lacking, always messing up, with no escape. Pointing to shame, rigidity, guilt, competition, or anxiety does not make them go away, and might make things worse. It is not a question of revealing the fact that we don’t treat each other well sometimes, or that movements can turn in on themselves; we know this already. These tendencies are a public secret: widely known, but difficult to talk about.[4] Tracing origins might not tell us much about what to do here and now. It is not about a few bad apples, or a few bad behaviors. For us at least, it cannot be reduced to those people over there, because we feel it arise in ourselves as well. There is no way to purify our movements of these tendencies, because the desire for purity is part of the problem.
So our project is not about being against rigid radicalism. We have become convinced that rigid radicalism cannot be countered by critique alone. Our critique and interrogation are a way of asking: how can we be otherwise? What makes it possible to activate something different? How to protect the something different once it gains traction? How to share experiences of places and spaces where something different is already taking place—where people feel more alive and capable?
The first step, for us, has been to affirm that we are already otherwise: we all have parts of ourselves that are drawn towards other ways of being. Everyone has glimmers, at least, of the ways that fierceness can be intertwined with kindness, and curiosity with transformation. Every space is a complex ecology of different tendencies. Rigid radicalism is always only one tendency among others. There are—and always have been—many places and spaces where alternatives are in full bloom. Beyond merely diagnosing or combating rigid radicalism, we seek to affirm the multiplicity of ways that spaces can be otherwise.

Allies all too often carry romantic notions of oppressed folks they wish to “help.” These are the ally “saviors” who see victims and tokens instead of people. This victimization becomes a fetish for the worst of the allies in forms of exotification, manarchism, ‘splaining, POC sexploitation, etc. This kind of relationship generally fosters exploitation between both the oppressed and oppressor. The ally and the allied-with become entangled in an abusive relationship. Generally neither can see it until it’s too late. This relationship can also digress into co-dependency which means they have robbed each other of their own power. Ally “saviors” have a tendency to create dependency on them and their function as support. No one is here to be saved, we don’t need “missionary allies” or pity. Guilt is also a primary ally motivating factor. Even if never admitted, guilt & shame generally function as motivators in the consciousness of an oppressor who realizes that they are operating on the wrong side. While guilt and shame are very powerful emotions, think about what you’re doing before you make another community’s struggle into your therapy session. Of course, acts of resistance and liberation can be healing, but tackling guilt, shame, and other trauma require a much different focus, or at least an explicit and consensual focus. What kind of relationships are built on guilt and shame?

KAIJUOLIGIST - ZILLA SENIOR
Tumblr media
This is my own theory as in no way considered canon however actual facts of the shows as well as films have been used to strengthen the theory.
ZILLAS GENDER -
Thee only lizards to have ever reproduced asexually was the komodo dragon, whiptail lizards and a reported case of an anaconda. Only females can do this when males arn't present or she deems them unfit to mate. Iguanas cannot produce asexually and no lizard recorded thus far is a hermaphrodite. Mutated or not i believe Zilla being the first of its kind was a female to produce asexually for no males were present.
PARTHOGENISIS/HERMAPHRODITE
Do not confuse hermaphrodite and asexual reproduction. Think of a jellyfish they reproduce asexually because they in part are both genders or have qualities associated with said genders chromosomes. They do not need to ever mate. Hence to breed asexually. Bullfrogs, chickens/fowl for example have genders male and female, however due to either the lack of comparable mates they can change gender. Males cannot reproduce as in give birth. (The seahorse carries the eggs doesn't lay them) In the case of a chicken if overies are damaged they can turn them in to testies. That brings us to Zillas offspring
ZILLA JR
Tumblr media
Zilla jr is 100% male. The cartoon series of the same genre is basically the continuation of the movie through episodic content. The script for the sequel to the film was leaked ages ago and bares some resemblance to the first episode of the series. Zilla jr is not a hermaphrodite as he actually had the urge to breed and reproduce despite being sterile. Nor can he change sex as would be the case in those that can change gender to best suite the environment. Willingly he wanted to breed with a female. Hermaphrodites have no need to breed. I have a theory as in why that egg was indeed his but ill leave that for another time.
PRE PRODUCTION OF THE FILM
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The concept art of the film (credit goes to the concept artist of the film) if we look at zillas finial concepts she yes ill refer to it as she is rather effeminate. The intention to have zilla as female was a get go from the beginning. However in the finial moments of the post production Hyundai/toho explicitly expressed that "godzilla" should and always be male. So little fact was mixed in with science fiction.
Lets take a look at the scene where Animal or the camera guy from the film looks up a zillas belly. Its doesn't have the signs of a male reproduction organ not a dick (lol) but the signs of claspers via its slit. (This will be revised later to include the technical terms of the organ and the names of placement of where the reproductive organs are kept) officially it has already been confirmed that zillas 3d model had female reproductive organs.
Tumblr media
Senior is not a he never was. Just to clarify zilla IS NOT a female godzilla it is its own species. I do agree that godzilla should only ever be a male. Zilla Jr has always been male.

2021 Books I’ve Read
Tumblr media
185/75
Possession by Suleidy Merced
(The Manarch Clan book 1)
•}ARC through BookSirens{•
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I shouldn’t be here. I swore never to be alone with him again. But I am incapable of resisting his touch. My body craves him, needs him. How can I stay away from a man who makes my body feel alive? A man who owns every inch of me.
I went into this blind. I didn’t know which mafia/s were involved. I didn’t know what powers were at play. I read ‘mafia romance’ and selected it. So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered it was the Scottish mafia. I haven’t enjoyed them yet! (Will there be kilts involved? Heavily tattooed, over-sized muscled men in kilts?) Starting in ‘present day’ before jumping back sucked me right now! There was no room for slow burn with this one! Tensions were high and ready to explode from the very beginning! Ava didn’t put up with Viktor’s crap. She was never a weakling, and he was never completely in control. And it was glorious! She was feisty from day one. Spoke to him in ways no one else dared to. She always stood her ground. So you can imagine the sexual tension that created! I’m so used to the mobster confining his woman to the house and her just obeying the rules. Ava is a welcomed change of pace! Though if my life were in danger like, I think I may confine myself to the house! The drama that unfolds has me very excited about the next book!
My Favorite Quotes:
•”Baby girl, you have no idea what I would dare.”
•”I will always take care of you.”
•”I’m going to claim every inch of your body. I will be your last.”
•”I don’t know what love is. Ava brings me peace in the chaos. I won’t let her go. I can’t picture my life without her.”

myths about F2 or why Elsa lives on a glacier ...
consider a few myths for F2:
1 myth: "Elsa lives in the Enchanted Forest with the natives" ...
This myth appeared due to the different translation of dialogues in different countries:
Elsa: Ahtohallan is beautiful! RU(the forest is beautiful)
HM: You know, you belong up here. RU(this forest is your home)
And, also, because of the message: "In many countries, a scene was cut out where Elsa and HM hold hands ..."
It's fake!
Tumblr media
Myth 2:"Elsa in Ahtohallan meets her mother (the spirit of her mother)” It is a myth... at the end, “show yourself” along with Elsa sings not the spirit of Iduna, but AI Ahtohallan, who uses memory for communication ...
(by the way, the phrase "you are the one, you've been waiting for" has also been translated differently in different countries ...)
And what is Ahtohallan ??!
everything is simple! Ahtohallan is a computer (Server) ... An ancient machine built using the "water memory" technology.
about technology: In 99, the Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto published the book “Message of Water”, in which he developed the hypothesis that water is capable of remembering information ... (all information is publicly available) The essence of the technology is simple: to read information from water, it is enough to freeze it and analyze the obtained crystals ... frozen + water = memory
The authors of F2, apparently, decided to take this anti-scientific theory and build a plot on its basis ..
Myth 3: "To be the fifth element - destiny for Elsa"
(my opinion based on the foregoing) In my opinion, this is the same as saying that the fate of each of you is to write posts in Tumblr ...
Ahtohallan is a computer, and Elsa is his operator .... (only)
Tumblr media
myth 4: "Elsa is unhappy in Arendelle, because she does not want to be a queen and she dreams of freedom "
This myth is related to the phrase from "Into the Unknown":
"I’m not where I’m meant to be" and "there’s part of me that longs to go"
Yes, Elsa is unhappy in her home ... But why ??? The answer, as always, is Anna!
I suggest to understand ...
In Arendelle, the manarch has many responsibilities. One of them is the Queen's duty to give / not give consent to the marriage of subjects ... Obviously, before proposing to Anna, Kristoff had to obtain the Queen's consent.
Elsa’s words and intonations in STNC "I’m not sure I want things to change at all" (maybe she’s talking about this) and her reaction to Engagement in a scene on the beach ...
Tumblr media
(She is not surprised. She is a little saddened, but pretends to be happy for her sister)
Elsa for a long time knew about the guy’s intention ...
Perhaps before the events described in the cartoon, Kristoff asked Elsa to give permission for marriage ... Perhaps he asked her advice ... maybe even hinted that Elsa interferes with their Family Happiness ...
(my opinion) it is these thoughts that disturb the queen in the first scene ... “She interferes with Anna's happiness !!!”
Tumblr media
Elsa loves Anna more than life and for her there is nothing more important than the happiness of her sister ...
But while Elsa is next to her sister, Anna will not have “normal” relations ... Elsa is superfluous ... She's prevents!... Again! "Anna loves This boy ... He is a good man ... he is blond ... Anna !!! ... Anna will be happy ... that's all that matters! ... The superfluous must go ..."
And she does what she always did - she sacrifices herself for the happiness of her Anna ... Elsa goes to the "fortress of solitude" ... All for the sake of her sister’s happiness ... For Anna, she pretends to be happy on the glacier ... She pretends that the natives, their culture, their forest and Pokemons are important to her ...
because if Anna finds out that Elsa is again " closed behind the doorway "... well, you understand ....
“Elsa you're wrong! Come back home! She is waiting for you...”

5 Stars for sure!
“These people are so damned proud of their hatred! Hatred is easy, and lazy to boot. It’s love that demands effort, love that exacts a price from each of us. Love costs; this is its value.”
The Fate of the Tearling is the final book following Kelssa Glynn's progression into a powerful manarch. In her quest to get rid of corruption, she had gained many formidable enemies, including the Red Queen and 'The Orphan'. In order to protect her people, Kelsea makes the decision to surrender herself and her 2 magical sapphires to the Red Queen. The Mace, her most trusted guard, is placed Regent in her stead. But The Mace's utmost loyalty has always lied with Queen, and sitting on a throne whilst his Queen is held captive is something he simply won't put up with. He will not rest until he and his men rescue their sovereign from her prison in Mortmesne.
I AM STILL REELING OVER THIS BOOK! Those of you who know me, are aware that I am simply in love with this trilogy. I think this was the perfect wrap up to a brilliant series. Honestly, I'm still gushing. Bare with me. 😂
Things I absolutely adored:
▪ I LOVE Kelsea, who despite being a fantastical Queem with magical necklaces, still remains one of the most humane female characters I have ever read about. Following her journey from the young and insecure girl in the first book to a powerful monarch by third book is one of the best character developments I have ever seen in a series. Erika Johansen simply excelled in creating a character that will stay with me for the rest of my life ❤
▪ The final third of this book contained some of the most unpredictable, heart-stopping, jaw-dropping plot twists I have ever encountered. INCLUDING THAT GOD DAMN ENDING!
▪ Talking about the ending... I can understand why I a lot of people disliked the ending to this series. Although this ending is definitely harsh (and probably wasn't the kind of happy ending we were expecting) I think it was absolutely essential. The ending broke my heart, and was most definitely bittersweet. And although I was NOT expecting that ending, I really can't see the trilogy finishing in a different way where all the conflict is effectively resolved. As Erika Johansen said in the acknowledgements, 'The Tearling is not an easy world.' So why would you expect an easy ending?
▪ And finally, MY BOII PEN AND THE MACE!!! Urgh, both of these characters are enough to melt my heart (joke, that's not possible, my heart's made of stone 🤷‍♀️) In all seriousness, watching the Mace and Pen suffer as their Queen is held captive DESTROYED ME! Johansen really helped us feel all their sorrow, and anguish and pain 💔 I just realised I'm really not ready to let this trilogy and the Mace and Pen go 😭 *wipes tears with a tissue*
Things I disliked:
Honestly, I can't think of anything 🤔 Literally, I've been sat here for 10 minutes scanning through my notes and just thinking about this book and I really cannot think of anything I disliked. Wow.
I recommend this to anyone who even slightly wants to pick up this book. If you're a fan of intricate fantasy worlds with lots of political intrigue and beautiful charcetrs that will melt your heart, then definitely add this to your TBR if you haven't already 🖤 Trust me, you will not regret it!
Also, this series does have a LOT of trigger warnings. The second books contain self-harm, rape and domestic abuse. This third book contains themes of child abuse. There might be a few more trigger warnings, these are just a few I can list off the top of my head.
