Okay so within the past 24 hours I watched Man of Tai Chi and Speed 1994. Didn’t like the first one as I’m generally not fond of action but the delulu that the detective and Donaka had a thing going on kept me seated. Like 🤨 why are you letting this girl that you know has been spying on you go? And I know he said “Is she dead?” and whatever but still…

Speed really is a heart-pounding film to watch and my suspension of disbelief (was that the term?) was suspended because thinking of how they filmed it must’ve been crazy. Loved both Keanu and Sandra’s character and the Ortiz guy. I keep actin’ up. That scene when he almost kissed her forehead but decided to wipe off the sweat instead?!?!!!! My goddd. Also when he was losing his mind, loved how she helped him calm down and seeing Keanu’s arms. Ugh.
