why I am confident Jonsa is endgame and jon is a honey pot
Warning! spoilers from the 6th episode of season 7. and spoilers from the books. I’ll be discussing why this episode proved Jonsa is endgame and how jon is going to be Dany is third betrayal.
this post is very long, and very anti J*narys. so if you do ship them, keep it moving and happy scrolling.
my thoughts are going to be a little jumbled so try to stay with me. and i’ll try to keep this as coherent as possible.
quick credit to @wheneverland for the inspo of this post.
So let’s get started!
#1 the warnings from Quaithe. we met the mysterious women back in season 2. but we didn’t get the gist of her cryptic words to dany. or the bit I think pertains to Jon. ‘the mummers dragon. trust none of them. remember the Undying. beware the perfumed seneschal.’ Now, most think think she meant Aegon.
But, they got the wrong Aegon. as of season 6 we know Jon is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen. and as of this last episode, he is legit. the leaks have also stated Jon’s real name is Aegon. p>
Now we move from Quaithe to the visions in the house of the undying. “on a throne above them sat a dead man with the head of a wolf. he wore an iron crown and held a leg of lamb in one hand as a king would hold a scepter, and his eyes followed Dany with mute appeal.”
this vision could very well be about the red wedding. But, it could very well be about Jon. Jon is technically a “dead” man. “staring at her” something Jon keeps doing and being called out for. “i saw you staring at her good heart.” with a “mute appeal.” in the books, Ghost is always described as “quiet” or “unnaturally mute.”
moving to the next part comes a warning. “three fires must you light..one for life and one for death and one to love.” “three treasons will you know..once for blood and once for gold and once for love.”
Dany has already lit those two fires “one for life” (her dragons) “one for death” (Drogo) and “one for love” in some way, Dany has already lit that third fire. she went against Tyrion is advise and rode out North. she physically lit a fire with her dragons because of her love for Jon or Jorah or both.
it could be argued Dany has already been betrayed twice in the show. once for blood (Mirri Maz Duur) and once for gold (Doreah) but not yet love. Jon is the third and finale betrayal
# 2 Now, let us move from the books right to the current season. overall, Jon did a 180 and it was extreamly odd. with everything being said up until this moment. Jon has remained firm in his cause. he also did this in a very short amount of time. going from ‘I am a king.” to, “my queen.” why?
because jon is a honey pot. he is the mummers dragon Dany cannot trust. Jon has done nothing to show he would yield to Dany he stated how the north will never accept her. how he doesn’t know her. how he is king. how could that change in episode 6, while in episode 5, Jon speaks to himself as a “stranger” to Dany. even after the presumed weeks if not months at Drangonstone. this scene after jon comes back from the wall was off for many reasons. Jon goes on to say how his people will come to see her for what she is.
what would that be exactly? Jon has only seen Dany go on about bending the knee and nothing else. you could argue he meant because she saved him and the group but, is that really an act the north will accept her for? the North hates the Targs and Jon knows that, the North wants to be free, they don’t want a southern ruler. and Jon knows that. but he needs them to stick togather. he also knows he needs her dragons, her man.
there’s the reason of his near death experience. but Jon has already died. and he still didn’t see the need to bend
or maybe what Tormund said stuck. about how many lives could have been saved if Mance had bent. but Tormund wasn’t there when Mance said fuck his pride, jon was. and jon knew mance wouldn’t bend because if he did, then the cause he asked others to follow would fall apart. and so would they.
it’s also key to note, before Jon says “how about, my queen?” he takes a deep breath. his face goes still and it’s like he had to get ready for an act.
after he says this, Dany breaks down. she starts crying and grabs his hand. she begans to rub her thumb over his hand. she is doing all the work while jon is staying still. she then says “i hope I deserve it.”he replies by saying, “you do.’
which is still an odd statement to make given Jon has seen Dany do nothing other then save his life. if he felt every person was deserving of the north if they saved his life, boy, he should have never forced Mel to leave. after that. Dany begins to leave and we are left with a panned out shot. a shot of jon with a rather upset expression. could it be he feels bad for loving Dany? it wouldn’t seem likely since he now thinks she is so great. I saw a look of guilt. not for love, but guilt for what he is doing for the greater good
#3 but let us back track for a minute. to three scenes that flowed right to some big subtle Jonsa hints. during the first couple minutes of the episode we have a conversation between Jon and Jorah. Jon offers LongClaw to Jorah and he refuses the blade. saying “may it serve you well. and your children after you.”
with that, we move right to Winterfell right to Sansa walking up to Arya.
what’s next? an interesting scene between Tormund and sandor. sandor brings up how he hates gingers. (which, he never hated sansa.) and Tormund goes on to say how gingers are beautiful and how they are kissed by fire. (like the lord who brought jon back) and then Tormund goes on to talk about a “beauty waiting for him back at winterfell.” and how he plans to have babies with her.
despite how much J*narys we got in this episode my faith has never been stronger. i’m sure i missed a bunch more but i’ll tell you this my Jonsa fam. no matter what happens on that boat. and no matter who Jon bends too for now…there is a great beauty for him waiting at Winterfell. and he will make babies who will conquer the world with her.

I like this. Always good to remind the fandom that their lamb isn't a hero or a victim. They've spread as much misery and pain as any other God. The story is about an innocent soul slowly becoming a monster and villain after all. Everyone you've killed, sacrificed, eaten, all blood on every player's hands.
woe be upon ye
