Itto: Good morning, big guy!

Sara:Hello, Ushi.

Tengu kid:bull!

I have a little time skip au with 120-200 years old Sara,Itto and Takuya (and other youkai)

It’s not the main line but it have some plot with ittosara family, anyway long story short: Sara found a little Tengu child and brought her home. Then little Tengu met big and loud Oni who lives with her finder

Little Tengu may remind of Sara but that because I think all youkai have species differences. Like all Tengu have this sharp long nose, dark hair(black,brown,blue or violet), long pointy ears and etc. all goes the same to other youkai species

There may be some differences inside the species but there still the main features that all of them have( Sara have much more lighter hair colour but she still look like a normal Tengu)

(I am NOT immune to “found family” trop)

I don’t think Ittosara will have biological child(like yeah it’s interesting and lovely but I just don’t see it) but they always have an option to adopt little youkai.

Maybe some time later they could have biological little half Oni half Tengu kid but I don’t know. Found family look more suitable for them in my opinion.

typing IS faster than drawing ssso... Venus and friends sneak into Draxum’s lab and poke around... and get caught! Time-wise maybe a couple years after Splinter yoinks the boys, mmmaybe 10-11 whatever age kids are most prone into going to semi-abandoned laboratories of warrior-alchemists unsupervised. 

Little scuffle and being “’accidentally’ impressive” Draxum explains what he’s doing and piques Venus’ interest by appealing to the back story that Venus admires her spear-wielding dad but he never trains her (mostly because staff-mom has her put her head in mystic books 25/8) so Draxum’s hook is he trains her in the sword, and Venus double checks the mystic components of Draxum’s shenanigans. and out pops Draxum Jr a.k.a Venus (Draxum suspects she’s actually one of his former experiments but doesn’t say anything For The Drama™)

developmentally,

I kept the cape on her Draxum protege design as a cute little callback to Venus cape fighting in Next Mutation. Then I used Draxum’s, Garm’s and Freki’s armor designs as a basis for her own set of armor. 

The Big Mama thrall-Venus... I used Shadow fiend pre-Shredder reveal as a design jumping off point since her tone was she was tricked into under-the-table service. And I dunno if I’m old or getting less suspicious because I absolutely did not clock Big Mama’s Assistant the first five time I watched, just saw her front matched the belt thing of the oni guards and her hands were like Garm’n Freki’s hands and just went ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ “guess that’s hidden city fashion!”

Parent guardians are crow yokai simply because, lol tengu and ninja go together like red bean and barley tea, gulaman and sago, peanut butter and jelly.
