Malibu Nights Experience! Lany Live in Manila 2019

I can still remember a band was scheduled to perform that afternoon in Trinoma, I was not familiar with them yet, except for their hit song“Super Far”. Fast forward to this year, 2019 and watched Lany not only once but twice! I regret not knowing their music early and the possibility of getting a photo with them in my stash or watched them up close!

They are an indie pop band best known for thier hit songs ILYSB, Malibu Nights, 13, Super Far, and Pink Skies. I honestly had no idea of their music at first until ILYSB, and thanks to Spotify, I was exposed to their music up until now. I was hooked and had their playlist in my heavy rotation till now. It did not help that some, if not majority of their songs, have messages that I could relate to. Perhaps that’s the key to their increasing popularity which translated to 3 sold-out concerts this year!

My first attempt to score a ticket was a failure as the SMTickets crashed. Good thing, Malibu Nights producer listened to the fans clamor to have another day, and so I was able to get my 1st ticket, General Ad. I was happy because whatever happens, I could watch them live! However, when I learned that there’s going to be a 3rd day, since 2-days were not enough, I did not hesitate to get another ticket, and luckily was able to get Lower Box Premium. I am super duper happy!

I was excited and happy about this concert, it’s the same feeling I had when I attended Ed Sheeran’s concert last year! I was wishing back in June to fast track to July because of this excitement.

The concert was a-‘mazing! I am running out of words to describe it and I can genuinely say that I was more than satisfied, happy, and ecstatic after the concert! I can officially say that this is one, if not the best concert I have attended so far, tied with Ed Sheeran’s Divide Tour Manila in 2018!

Imagine seeing the band sing your playlist live, that’s something irreplaceable! From Pink Skies, 4ever, Good Girls, Hericane, Run, 13, ILYSB, Malibu Nights and the rest of Lany’s great songs! I was singing and dancing (hahaha) through the concert and I had the best night of my life! It was freaking awesome!

My only regret was not getting the VIP slot! I mean, LB was awesome, but I wanted an up close experience! I’d make sure to get the VIP next year, and I won’t miss this for the world!

I am now officially a Lany fan and since last week, PCD has kicked in! Damn this feeling, and not all could understand! Not everyone would understand the feeling of missing the feeling you had when you attended the concert! I
