I think one of the funnier implications of ultrakill’s lore in light of the panopticon arg/the fact hell is sentient/it’s canon humans went to hell to study the shit there and stuff is that someone somewhere in the world of uktrakill put a fucking mirror in front of a malicious face like a goddamn animal in a lab and genuinely studied it for a hot minute like that.

who was paid to do this. what underpaid intern in the 22nd century had to write down “mirror exploded by malicious face” into official lab documents probably sponsored by government funding. did the terminals call malfaces maurice (remember the style bonus) too because some guy thought “haha these guys are funny looking. a funny looking name is maurice” and they just fucking ran with it?

Usually, autonukes (depicted in the clip) aren’t effective. like at all. The circumstances in which an autonuke is most likely to happen are also the circumstances in which you are most liable to get fucked for attempting one, so either you do it when the only thing in the AOE is the Malicious Face you’re using to autonuke, which doesn’t harm the Malface because it is immune to explosions, or you take a bit of a risk in a crowded area. Fun fact: in the New Blood Discord server, I hold the earliest use case of the word “Autonuke”, and in the context of using a Malicious Face to cause a nuke I was apparently the first one to use the term in its entirety. I just called it an autonuke because the malface nuked its own face and I went “Ah yes. Auto, self, nuke”

Ooooh, interesting! I’d hope for Maleficent’s sake it didn’t play out like it did with Esmeralda because that would be rape, but if she agreed in a moment of ‘weakness’ (i.e. she wanted to), that would explain why she said that.

I don’t have a set head canon for who her dad is. None of the big names, that’s for sure - probably a robber henchman or something.
