i know people love to complain about malenia still but have they ever thought about the fact that complaining won’t change anything and maybe instead of bitching and crying they could just learn to fight her? all those hours spent on reddit writing essays and for what exactly? she’s still there. nothings changed. do they hope that fromsoft will see it and then change her? “she’s a sekiro boss” go play sekiro then i honestly don’t know what else to tell you at this point holy shit

I'm so glad that I get to see posts like this and not the actual hate I used to see a lot on Reddit. Honestly my experience with ER fandom became so much better when I found my small community with pvpers and Malenia enjoyers and stopped interacting with Reddit and such.
I can't believe that from the very first articles about Demon's Souls being too hard in 2009 up to today, the casuals never stopped bitching about the game being too difficult. It's honestly a From Software tradition.
Malenia in Elden Ring is only being singled out as "too hard" because of spirit summons. They trivialise every boss except her (if you don't know what you're doing, otherwise she gets easy too) but I'm certain that it would be a miracle if people who complain about Malenia got past Morgott without them. People would bitch about the whole game instead of Malenia.
Because guess what? If you actually play through the game by learning bosses and beating them without assistance, you actually develop the spacing and timing for Malenia. Who would've thought.
