IDOLiSH7 Season 3 Will Be Two Cours, the First Kicks Off in 2021

  The IDOLiSH7 anime is preparing to take the stage again this year. During the series' fifth anniversary event at Yokohama Arena, BEGINNING NEXT, IDOLiSH7 season three was announced to be two cours, with the first part set to kick off in 2021. 

  The main staff was also confirmed to return for the third season, including Makoto Bessho as director. Ayumi Sekine will once again provide series composition at anime production house TROYCA. 

  The IDOLiSH7 series is based on the smartphone game of the same name that first launched in Japan back in 2015 and features character designs by Arina Tanemura. Crunchyroll streamed the first two seasons of the anime adaptation as they aired and describes them like so:

  A group of aspiring idols gather at Takanashi Productions and are entrusted with the company's future. The seven men who have just met represent a variety of totally different personalities. However, they each have their own charm and possess unknown potential as idols. Forming a group, they take their first step together as "IDOLiSH7." Their brilliantly shining dancing forms onstage eventually begin captivating the hearts of the people. In the glorious but sometimes harsh world of idols, they aim for the top with dreams in their hearts!

IDOLiSH7, confermata una terza stagione dell’anime

L’ultimo episodio di IDOLiSH7 Second BEAT è disponibile da oggi su Crunchyroll.

La seconda stagione di “IDOLiSH7″ si è conclusa oggi (l’episodio 15 è già disponibile su Crunchyroll per tutti gli abbonati premium) e lo staff della serie ha deciso di confermare, sin da subito, la produzione di un sequel. Maggiori dettagli sulla terza stagione dell’anime saranno divulgati prossimamente.

Un gruppo di aspiranti idol si riunisce alla Takanashi Productions e viene affidato loro il destino della compagnia. I sette ragazzi che si sono appena incontrati hanno personalità davvero diverse. Ognuno di loro ha comunque un diverso fascino e ha un potenziale ancora non espresso, come idol. Formano un gruppo e muovono i primi passi insieme come “IDOLiSH7”. Le loro splendide coreografie dal vivo iniziano a conquistare i cuori della gente. Nel mondo luminoso, ma talvolta duro, degli idol mirano al top coi loro cuori pieni di sogni!

La serie diretta da Makoto Bessho (Star Blazers 2199: Odyssey of the Celestial Ark, Shangri-La) presso lo studio TROYCA (Bloom Into You, Lord El-Melloi II Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note), fa parte dell’omonimo progetto crossmediale di Bandai Namco, incentrato su gruppi maschili di idol. Il franchise comprende un rhytm game per dispositivi mobili, manga, album e dei video musicali realizzati da diversi studi di animazione.

Oltre ad “IDOLiSH7 Second BEAT!”, anche la prima stagione di 17 episodi è presente sul catalogo italiano di Crunchyroll. La serie di cortometraggi spin-off intitolata “IDOLiSH7 Vibrato”, invece, è distribuita in esclusiva su YouTube.
