Maki looked in the mirror, tracing the small scars on her nose and cheek.

She sighed and her eyebrows furrowed.

She didn’t feel like recovering them so she didn’t even bother putting on new bandages.

(idk if this is accurate or not and i’m sry if it isn’t but this is just an idea i had:3)

She walked out of her bedroom in her hashira estate to see her boyfriend, Muichiro Tokito.

The mist hashira’s breathtaking teal eyes light up and a smile grows on the boy’s face.

“Hey Maki!” His smile falls when he notices the sad expression on the girl’s face. “What’s wrong?”

Maki looked down at her feet. “Mui.. are my scars ugly..?” She asked, small tears forming in her eyes.

Muichiro’s heart shattered into bits and pieces at the question.

“W-what? Of course not Maki! Why would you think such a thing about yourself? Did someone say something to you cause if they did it’s not true! You’re beautiful with or without the scars!” The mist hashira spoke wholeheartedly, worry evident in his eyes.

Maki’s heart melted at his words and she hugged him.

“I love you Mui..” Muichiro hugged her back.

“I love you too. Don’t forget just how beautiful you are, ok?”

He said, stroking Maki’s cheek, locking eyes with her.

Maki smiled. “I’ll try.”

Maki never got the chance to re-bond with Muichiro, even after he regained his memories.

Neither of them ever had enough free-time to catch up.

As Maki fought tirelessly against Kokushibo with Muichiro, Genya, Sanemi, and Gyomei, she saw Muichiro get killed by the 6 eyed demon.

Her mouth hung agape and tears stung her eyes. She started breathing heavily as she ran to Kokushibo, screaming.

She had her katana raised to behead Kokushibo, only to be killed as well.

Maki’s eyes opened, only to see white.

Her eyes landed on Muichiro, waiting to greet her.

“Hi Maki..” He smiled warmly as he welcomed her.

“Hello Mui..” She said, joyful tears in her eyes as she ran to hug the love of her life.

The pair finally confess their love for each other, leading to a sweet kiss.

“Let’s go home.” Muichiro said, taking Maki’s hand and pulling her gently.

Maki nods. “Let’s.”

Maki and Muichiro were friends long before the demon attacked the Tokito twins.

Maki hadn’t seen Muichiro ever since the incident.

Today is the day of her first hashira meeting since she had been promoted to hashira.

“Hello, today I would like to announce that we have a new hashira joining us, Maki Kizukai the ice hashira.” Master Kagaya announced.

Muichiro stared blankly up at the sky.

“Maki, please stand up.” Kagaya commanded in his usual kind manner and Maki obeyed, bowing after doing so.

Until that moment, she didn’t know that Muichiro was also a hashira.

Her red eyes immediately landed on him and went wide.

“M-Mui!” She exclaimed excitedly, the boy paid no mind to her, it was as if he hadn’t even noticed her presence.

Suddenly he snapped out of his trance. “Who are you?” He asked the girl, shattering her already fragile heart.

Tears entered her eyes and sat back down. “N-never mind.” She spoke tearfully.

Muichiro just went back to looking at the clouds, only paying attention when the master or another hashira talked.

Maki realized that there was no trace of her Muichiro left, this was just a shell. A carbon copy of his brother.

“Mui.. what happened to you..?”She asked herself as she walked back to her newly built estate.

*Maki smiles seeing them wishing muichiro was there but the As maki closed her eyes She Was lifted up by her One and only Muichiro*

Maki: Mui! Your here!

muichiro: Hey maki!

*As maki and muichiro stare at each other for a minute Maki kisses muichiro's cheek and then runs off flustered*

Milo walked up to the door of her best friend’s house and knocked.

Maki opened it soon after and smiled. “Milo!!!”

Milo and Maki hug then the latter drags Milo into her house.

“I was just about to take something for my braces!” Maki said.

Milo remembered the pain that she felt back when she had braces (idk, i don’t feel like going in depth in braces stuff so ima just say she doesn’t need braces anymore and just wears a retainer).

They run to Maki’s room, already having planned what they’d be doing the day before.

Maki turned on the tv in her room and put on some music for them to sing along with.

“Milo shush!! I’m trying to watch!” Maki said, annoyed at Milo.

“Sorry, sorry.” Milo muttered.

Milo’s phone goes off so she picks it up to check it.

“What is it?” Maki asked, leaning to look at Milo’s phone screen.

“You’re so nosy. It’s Zenny.” Milo said, giggling at Maki’s reaction to being called nosy.

“I’m not that nosy!” Maki said, pouting.

“Anyways, what’s he doing up this early? It’s 4:30 a.m on a Saturday.” Milo said, typing a response to his text. (He was asking her how she was doing btw)

“Sooo, how are things going with you and Muichiro?” Milo asked, grinning and causing Maki to blush.

“Things are going really well so far.” Maki said with a shy smile, thinking about Muichiro.

Maki’s phone started rapidly buzzing, signaling she was being called.

She checked the caller id and it said Muichiro❤️.

“Should I put it on speaker?” Maki asked, preparing to answer and Milo nodded her head, yes.

Maki answered the call and put it on speaker.

Milo pulled up ‘Careless whisper’ on her phone then started playing it.

Muichiro sighed into the phone and Maki glared at Milo.

“Is Milo there with you?” Muichiro asked.

“Yep. Kinda wishing I asked to just text.” Maki said and Milo started laughing.
