You know what's awesome... This girl is getting back into the ICU! The best part about nursing is the ability to choose so many different specialties. I've done cardiac tele, adult ICU, NICU, labor and delivery, pediatric ICU, pediatric (hospital / doctor's office), and telephone triage. I love the adult ICU. I love the adrenaline you get when someone's life is in your hands and you must think on your feet and fast. I love seeing patients on their deathbeds make a full recovery and I love being there for families when they must let a loved one go. I will stay at the pediatric office because I absolutely love everyone that I work with and kids are just too much fun!! I'll be PRN (as needed) and pick up shifts here and there. I will also be PRN in the ICU however I plan on picking up a day a week there. I'm so happy to have made these changes in my life. This Day (Aug 23) trying on clothes looking in the mirror was the first time that I actually looked at myself. Yes, I’ve noticed the weight loss but looking at myself not only the outer me but also the inner me. It’s completely remarkable on the weight loss side I went from wearing a 3XL(something I never thought I would openly admit) down to an XL another thing I never though was possible. The feeling is great I have energy and I feel overall lighter. Now for the inner me there’s a glow in me. Not just a glow but happiness, dedication, determination, achiever, passion and a fighter all radiate from me. This day I’m stronger and further in my life then I ever was. Looking at the path that I’m on now seeing my future that I’m building life is just great. Man, who knew that happiness actually exists. My voice may have been small in the past but now it’s loud like a lion. Listen up and hear my roar. Greys anatomy is the worst honestly

Has anyone ever thought about if they died what would their friends and family think. Or if your friend/family member died how bad it would be. Anybody can die anytime.
