Make Up For Ever Philippines | Exciting Things To Come

I’ve been a big fan of Make Up For Ever for quit a long time now, they always seem to be coming up with new exciting makeup and their quality is always amazing. Make Up Forever doesn’t just create makeup but it pushes the boundaries of makeup and creates wearable art. After all the creator of Make Up For Ever is an artist so she definitely is always one step ahead of the makeup game. So when I was asked to try the new Artist Rouge lipstick line I was obviously excited because the artist Rouge Line was inspired by ultra pigmented paint colors so I knew I was in for an awesome surprise and after all, one can never have too much makeup.

The products I tried are:

Artist Rouge Light- For someone who is so use to matte lipstick that usually is a bit heavy the Artist Rouge Light was a breath of fresh air. This super lightweight lipstick is so creamy and smooth, you hardly can feel it on your lips, the colors are really nice and sheer, perfect for that ‘no makeup, makeup look’. The colors I tried were L301- Which was more of a coral then the orange shade in the tube, its really nice and subtle, perfect for a day look. The next color is L102- This nude pink gives you just a touch of color so that your lips look really natural and moisturized, this color is great as an everyday color. Next color is L401- One of my favorites that i tried, is this natural red color, you can easily transition your look from day to night with this color, I have been wearing it a lot and have received lots of compliments while wearing it so that’s always nice. Lastly I tried L202- This one is another one of my favorites, its a sheer pink that like the nude pink is great for an everyday look. Overall the Artist Rouge Light is amazing especially if you don’t like super drying lipsticks or need a break from them once in a while. The Artist Rouge Light comes in 25 shades so I know you’ll find your perfect shade with so many options.

Artist Acrylip Lip Paint- This lippy surprised me because I wasn’t sure if I would like the texture when it was on my lips but I was so happy that I did. The Artist Acrylip is inspired by the bold, high-pigmented acrylic paints used by artists. When Make Up For Ever says 'bold’ they mean it! The texture is thin and smooth and not at all sticky. I tried 2 colors, 201 and 501. The 201 shade is a fuchsia pink its a super bold color but what I like about it is that you can use a little and it goes a long way. The color dries semi matte and even after you eat or drink you still have a bit of pink on the lips left. The next color I tried was 501, which is a purple eggplant color. I was surprised at how sheer in went on at first but you can definitely brighten the color with more coats, the color dried into a creamy satin finish and made my lips look really nice. There’s 9 available colors for the Artist Acrylip. This is something I would want to buy all the shades in.

Artist Rouge Mat- The Artist Rouge is a game changer for matte lipsticks, seriously love the way my lips feel when I’m wearing this, nothing like your typical matte lippie, this one is matte yet is very hydrating and stays in place for a long time! I received 2 shades, The M101 which is a carmel beige color. It’s one of those must have colors because it literally goes with any outfit. The 2nd color is M500 its a wine violet color, really nice for an evening look. This is a color that goes well with all skin tones. There are 16 shades available for the Artist Rouge Matte and honestly you probably will want them all.

Water Blend Foundation- The foundation in shade Y215 matched my fair/ yellow skin perfectly. This foundation is good for you if you only need light coverage and you have dry skin. I’m on the other hand the complete opposite I have combination oily skin and I need a full coverage foundation because I have some red skin and a little bit of pimples from time to time so alone this foundation doesn’t work for me but I do like mixing this with a full coverage foundation to give me a semi dewy look. It comes in 20 different shades.

Artist Rouge Creme- If matte lipstick and light lipstick aren’t your thing, fear not because this creme lippie is perfect for that in-between formula. It doesn’t dry quite like a matte but isn’t sheer like the light. It has a great range of colors and did I mention that the whole Artist Rouge Lipstick line has the best packaging ever! I swear it’s so cool looking. The 2 lipsticks shades I received are C108 a hazel beige color. This color is really perfect for fall. The 2nd shade I received was C211, this rose wood color is a real nice pink color, very subtle pink another shade perfect for daily use and for any skin-tone. There are 31 different shades available, that’s how popular they are.
