The necklace is absolutely fabulous!!! The finely chiseled central rose window, the small pearls and the crystal, the two joining elements and the carabiner with flowers create an amazing contrast, as they make it elegant and delicate, but at the same time also rich and sumptuous: it is truly a jewel that attracts the eyes!!! In addition, every time you look at the central stone, you realize that it has a different color: it is iridescent and chameleon-like, and the effect under natural light is wonderful!!! Many thanks to Vicky, the exceptional artist, her skill and kindness are unmatched!!!

The movement gradually became national across America, eventually in 1914 Woodrow Wilson named Mother’s Day a national holiday to be celebrate. And soon the world follows America and acknowledge the second Sunday of May as the International Mother’s Day.
Besides this modern version many cultures thought out history have a designated day to tribute motherhood. For example, the ancient Roman’s festival of Hilaria is a religious celebration in honor of the mother goddess Cybele. Valentine’s Day gift idea 2023 | Couple’s promise ring

While there is no clear definition on what makes a promise ring, the common consensuses are rings to signify a relationship between lovers. Get your couple’s promise ring now till 2023-March-01 and receive 20% off with free shipping! 10% off cross shop. Enter code VAL2023 during checkout. Keep reading to learn when to wear promise ring, plus what makes our special design makes wonderful Valentine’s Day gift.
Promise ring verse wedding ring – what is the difference?
In a general sense, wedding rings are made in gold or platinum with classic and timeless design. Promise ring are crafted in silver or more accessible material, and the design tends to be more fun and fashionable. This is because wedding ring symbolize marriage, commitment and a mature stage of life; while promise ring hint a youthful love. Serious and committed, yes, but emphasis on love’s playful and flirtatious nature. Ancient Greek call this stage of love “ludus” or “erotoropia”. Aiming to design for the younger audiences, I want to keep a minimalist design language as well as giving them an adventurous attitude; looking for that perfect balance between uniqueness and something easy to wear.
Matching promise ring for couples in unique design.
Our promise ring collection are all crafted in sterling silver. ANANTAYA appears to be an open circle ring when wears on the finger. The shape is actually an infinity sign twisted in a circular form. The name ANANTAYA means “limitless” in Sinhala (an ancient dialog dated back to 200 BC). A subtle and fashionable way to wear the symbol for infinite love and you’re your commitment. Regardless of the bold appearance, the rings are comfortable to wear with the shank especially made tapered.
CUPID matching ring set features a minimalistic arrow design, symbolize Cupid’s arrow going through lover’s heart. To make this special we incorporated elements of signet ring shape into the design; furthermore tip of the arrow sets a drop shape gemstone of your choice. Arrow couple’s ring is quite common in the market, and yet our non-traditional and refreshing approach brings a unique perspective to this ever-popular motif.
TOKYO is the ring set draws idea from all the Japanese drama series I watch in the later 80’s and early 90’s. The busy streets and especially crossroad are common settings in these shows. Imagine a scene with 80’s city-pop beat as background music, two strangers’ eye meet at a crossroad…… hence my inspiration for this design.
And there is TOKUSHIMA, a spiral ring design after the formation of vortex. Love is sometimes like whirlpool (especially the processive aspect): grabbing onto our lover and pulling them deep into the heart of the ocean. Name after the famous Naruto whirlpool at Tokushima city in Japan.
All our rings are handcrafted in batch to ensure uniqueness. Get yourself and love one a stunning set now to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Sales end 2023-March-01.

February Birthstone: Amethyst | MAJADE Blog 2023
Amethyst: The birthstone of February
One of the most well-known gemstones in the world, amethyst has a long traditional representing February. Find out more below about amethyst and why this February birthstone is very special.
Theories on why amethyst is selected to represent February
The true origin of how amethyst became the February birthstone is hard to trace, like many subjects in history. A common theory explains that in astrology, Aquarius (Jan 20th -Feb 18th) and Pisces (Fen 19th -Mar 20th) are zodiacs of February, both signs can be represented by purple and thus the association with amethyst.
Some propose the following theory and I like the poetic notion: February is a month of duality, already into the new year, yet still not completely waken from stupor of the previous. Still a cold winter month, yet there’s a hint of spring vibe in the air. Amethyst too is a symbol of duality, with purple being the perfect balance of red (hot) and blue (cold). Moreover, those who are February born trends to be dreamers and romanticist by heart. Needless to say, February 14th marks the famous St. Valentine’s Day. Purple itself is a romantic color full of imagination. In a metaphysical sense amethyst and February both embodies a mystical quality of duality, perhaps this is why they are forever tied together.
A beloved gemstone for many reasons.
Whatever the real origin is, we can all be certain that amethyst is recognized as a powerful stone in the chakra field. Most believe amethyst is a great (if not the best) stone for protection against negative energy, also wonderful for cleansing. While crystal healing is another subject that deserves its own article, everyone can enjoy amethyst for the lovely shade of purple. Subtle and low-key, yet majestically vibrant.
Being a member of the quartz family amethyst is highly versatile and have a wide application in jewelry. Tough enough to be cut into many shapes plus good semi-transparency, this gemstone can be cut as beads, faceted stones, or simply in raw state. The cut has tremendous effect on the appearance: rich deep color as bead, bright and vibrant in faceted cut, and full of character in raw stone. All cuts of amethyst are uniquely beautiful in their own ways, which to choose is really a matter of personal preference.
UNA, the minimalist design perfectly showcases beauty of amethyst
One of my favorite design is UNA set with amethyst. Personally I prefer amethyst in bead form. The rich deep purple offers a mystical and yet majestic feeling. My philosophy in jewelry design is always enhancing the natural beauty of gemstone as a goal. An abundance of design elements often overpowers the stone. However, if the design is too plain results can be bland and boring; lacking sophistication to ignite the passion of viewers. Simply put, a nice design does not need too much but need to be just enough. With the UNA set (comes in necklace and dangling earrings) a wave inspired form “wraps” around the amethyst bead, the bead is set with a post though the drilled hole, viewer can appreciate the stone at all angles: front, side, and the back. This “perfect balance” approach is best to showcase the beauty of amethyst.
Purple would be considering somewhat a niche color, at lease in the fashion world. Definitely not as popular as black, white or blue; but those who love purple absolutely falls for it. Purple is a color for dreamers. Amethyst perfectly suits you if your birthday is within this month; or if you consider yourself a true romanticist and dreamer!

Why Sapphire is September Birthstone and Alternatives
The Reason Why Sapphire Represents September, Plus Great Choices of Alternative Birthstones
Being one of the most well recognized gemstones, even non-jewelry savory friends might know Sapphire is the birthstone of September. But is there a rational or reason behind the decision? Read on to discover! In honor of the season, remember to take the opportunity and get a FREE birthstone necklace upon purchase during the month of September.
Looking into Astrology: Relationship of Sapphire to Virgo and Libra
Gemstone lovers might remember birthstone by months, but puzzled as to why that specific gemstone was selected to represent the very month. True, we can be sure there must be a reason behind, however history is an ambiguous subject with many theories and stories. The modern birthstones we recognized today were agreed upon by organizations like Jewelers of America and American Gem Trade Association. This fact gives us a good start to investigate why Sapphire was selected to symbolize September.
The Link Between Sapphire, Virgo and the Planet Mercery
A key element of modernity is individualism, and thus the rational behind birthstone selection is often tied to Zodiac. The month of September is predominately represented by Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22) and shares by Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22). The ruling planet of Virgo is Mercery. And we all know Mercery is known as the “ocean planet”, symbolized by the color blue, water and transparency. Furthermore, Sapphire represents calmness and stability which coincide with Virgo’s temperament; and hence the Virgo-Sapphire-Mercury association.
Libra and Sapphire- the Metaphysic of Balance
The latter of September is represented by Libra, which is represented by a weight or scale, and thus symbolized balance and equilibrium. With its royal blue hue, Sapphire is connected to truth, sincerity and faithfulness. No doubt the perfect match with Libra.
The actual reason of selecting Sapphire for September was lost in history, but the Zodiac theory makes a very good case.
Kyanite: A Great Alternative September Birthstone
Sapphire is one of the rarest minerals on earth undoubtedly comes with a high price tag. Due to the accessibility nowadays people are accepting alternatives, and Kyanite is a good candidate with its similar appearance and a relatively affordable in price. Kyanite’s royal blue hue and brilliancy have a close resemblance to Sapphire. The main difference between two stones is their hardness.
Sapphire is a gemstone from the corundum family, ranking a 9 on the Mohs scale of hardness it is one of the hardest gemstones on earth after diamond. Kyanite ranks a 4.5 – 7 in comparison (generally speaking jewelry grade Kyanite is around 6.5-7 in hardness, this topic deserves a more detail explanation for another article). The hardness however limits the way Kyanite is cut and polish. Being a more brittle material in comparison, Kyanite is more often cut and polish to spherical shape (bead) or briolette. Not necessary a CON to the gemstone, think of this as a feature not a bug. A Kyanite bead is truly specular with its natural pattern and gloss. Something that cannot be describe into words, best sees the photo or better yet in physical jewelry!
Color Sapphire for the Early Autumn Mood
Aside from the famous royal blue, Sapphire comes in many other colors. Although in a traditional sense only the popular blue is considered as September birthstone, nowadays more people see color sapphire as another great choice to represent the autumn month. Let’s look at our best pick of color sapphire and how they relate to the season!
Teal Sapphire, the color of a Brisky Lake
Reminiscent of the lake in early autumn, not so cold, just a bit chilly and very refreshing. Teal Sapphire is very much like the royal blue Sapphire with a tint of green. A great color for the nonconformist.
Pink Sapphire and the color of Autumn Sky
Think of the captivating rosy pink sunset of an autumn sky, this popular variation of Sapphire is a favorite for the true romantic.
Yellow Sapphire and the Leaf of Early Fall
Reminds us of September where the trees are turning to an amber yellow color. Perhaps a little melancholy, but somberly beautiful in its own right.
Now we hope you learn about Sapphire and other alternatives for September birthstone! Don’t forget to enjoy a FREE birthstone necklace upon purchase. Offer is good till October 01 2023.

Love Keeps Growing: Flower Design Wedding and Engagement Ring
Floral Theme Engagement and Wedding Ring: A Symbol for Love and Growth
Flower theme rings is always great for marriage proposal as the jewelry symbolize hope and a new beginning. After post-COVID era, the world is ready for fresh start on many things, perfect time for those who are ready to tie the knot. Read on to find out why our floral theme engagement and wedding rings could be your best choice!
2 as 1 Wedding and Engagement Rings Set
Should you stack engagement ring with wedding band; wear them simultaneously on different fingers; or only wear the wedding band? Really boils down to a matter of styling and personal choice. While there is no certain rule, from my observation most people prefer to stack engagement ring and wedding band on the same finger. We did a brief survey asked if there Is any reason for those only wear wedding ring. A common answer is simply the look of both rings does not match with one another. From this pragmatic standpoint, I want to design sets that goes perfectly together. Aesthetically and mechanically.
The affiliation of engagement and wedding ring is similar to the relationship of flower and leaves – both enhances each other’s beauty; or as Aristotle quotes, “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”
Floral theme jewelry is always popular thought-out ages. A true timeless classic, we see portrayal of flowers in both antiquity and modern jewelry. We are stun by the beauty of flowers. Some culture calls them the jewelry of nature, and thus makes perfect sense in a poetic way to represent flower in jewelry. The design is especially meaningful in wedding rings, because it brings out the beautiful and feminine aspect of women.
Calla Lily the Symbol for Purity
Calla Lily has no thorns and have a very faint scent, therefore symbolize purity and child-like innocent.
As a believer of dualism, I always want to find the perfect balance between the opposite polarities. The LILY ring, for example, the contrast plays beautifully between the finely crafted miniature flower verse rough texture of the raw stone. Also playing with contrast is the texture on the shanks; the tree bark texture verses the smooth surfaced on both rings. Chic and minimalist to wear as two separate rings; or elaborate as the whole Calla Lily plant when stack together as one.
ORCHID the Sensual Beauty
Orchid is the perfect choice for the bold and adventurous, because it symbolizes stunning beauty, pleasure and sensuality.
ORCHID ring is the perfect choice if you want something classic yet different. Features a faceted center-stone, the shoulder is detailed by a bud accent with diamond. A design simple and clean on its own; makes a head turner by matching two pieces together. A very special wedding ring inspired by the extra-long vines of orchid, this unique style charters the territories of alternative wedding rings designs.
Plum Blossom the Symbol of Undying Love
The plum blossom (aka Ume) is significant in East Asian culture because it has the rare characteristic of blooming under cold weather, therefore is considered a symbol of strength, perseverance, beauty and determination. In the context of love this stoic aspect is especially meaningful.
In this UME ring we once again play on the contrast of stones plus the texture of metals. A plum flower design engagement ring sets a raw stone, partner with a pave wedding band that cool to wear on its own. Stack them up together and get an image of a blooming flower on the Ume tree branch.
Now that you know the story behind each or our flower design ring sets, we hope you’ll find appreciation for the meaning and symbology. These beautiful botanical theme wedding and engagement rings are definitely something to consider!

The Reason Peridot is the August Birthstone and Selected Jewelries
Why Peridot is the Birthstone of August and Great Gift Ideas
We know there are logic behind the selection of birthstones, but the true origin is obscure and difficult to ascertain. For August we researched the most creditable (and interesting) anecdote that makes the perfect sense. Read on to find out! During the month of August, we offer a 25% off on all items as summer celebration. Remember to take the opportunity adding jewelries to your collection or getting gifts to your love ones.
The Affiliation of Peridot and Hot Summer Heat
Peridot are made by volcanic basalt under extreme heat and pressure. Therefore, Peridot are symbolically hot being created from lava under high heat condition, hence the association with summer heat. A rather simple but convincing explanation.
One can also look into the zodiac. Leo’s (July 23-Aug 22) ruling planet is the all-powerful Sun. Astrology aside lion is often tie to the Sun for both represents the majestic and powerful. In many aspects too we can see the association: the lion’s mane compares with solar ray; lion’s yellow fur correlate with color of the sun… Rationally we can establish the link between extreme heat, lion, and Peridot all together as a representation of August’s summer.
Virgo (Aug 23-Sep22) shares August with Leo. The color green and brown (being an Earth tone) are known to be Virgo’s lucky color, perfectly captures by Peridot’s unique shade of olive green. Compare to the richer green of Emerald, the specific shade of green in Peridot is an acquired taste. But once you fell in love with it you can never go back! If you are a Virgo then Peridot is an especially worthwhile gemstone to consider for this very reason.
Curated Peridot Jewelry and Gift Recommendations
With its particular color, Peridot is charming in different ways. The stone can be faceted, round beaded or raw. These selected designs are especially gorgeous showcasing the beauty of Peridot.
The Symbolism of Calla Lily Perfectly Matches Peridot
Peridot is a naturally good fit to the lily flower for both contains similar symbolic meaning of growth and beauty. The LILY necklace is in a stylized form of the calla lily flower. At the center of the flower sets a faceted Peridot, and the stem accent with diamonds in a semi-halo format. A very nice yet easy to wear design.
Silver Spoon Necklace with Raw Peridot Representing Sugar Cube
Rough or raw stone means the gemstone are in its natural form, without cutting into the more conventional shape of faceted or bead. This treatment gain traction in recent years as people are starting to appreciate gemstones for its raw beauty. Not all gemstone is suitable for this cut. Rating a 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, a fair toughness makes Peridot suitable for rough cut. The LONDON necklace is miniature spoon influenced by British afternoon tea. Imagine the raw Peridot as a cube of sugar ready to be serve with milk tea. This one is mint favored.
Minimalist Necklace is a Timeless Classic
Spherical or beaded cut gemstones possess a gentle sheen. A round beaded Peridot reminds me of a watery grape. Emerald, the Birthstone of May and Other Stunning Alternatives
Emerald the May Birthstone and Other Beautiful Green Gemstone as Alternative
The traditional birthstone of May is Emerald. The lush green color of this gemstone perfectly describes Spring vibe. Emerald is a stunning stone but also very rare, luckily nowadays people are more acceptable to other green gemstones as alternatives. Read on to found out more! As a celebration of Spring, though out the month of May we offer a 25% off on all items!
COUPON CODE: EMERALD25
Emerald’s Symbology and Significant in Antiquity
The reason why Emerald was selected to represent the month of May is easy to understand. Emerald’s lush green coincide with the color and vibe of Spring. And for this reason, most green stones especially for Emerald is always associated with rebirth and rejuvenation.
Ancient Egyptian adores Emerald, consider the stone as a symbol for immortality. The Egyptian culture are known for their love of natural gemstone, as evidence in the artifact such as jewelry, ornament and burial items. They have a fondness for gems like lapis lazuli and turquoise, yet the favorite is Emerald. The queen of Egypt Cleopatra is well known for her love of Emerald. Although the legendary “Cleopatra’s Emerald” was never found or rediscovered, records and documents shows the queen does have a special affection for Emerald.
Besides the Egyptians, many ancient civilizations see Emerald as an important stone not just for its beauty, more importantly believe the stone itself held the secret of life. Considered a scared stone by the Incas and Aztecs, in the 16th century Spanish conquistador greed over this mesmerizing stone. Many legends and folklores describe the conflicts over this stone. These includes the mysterious, ever-glowing Emerald in a Tlaxcala temple. Fan of the occult and esoterica are all familiar with Hermes Trismegistus’ work “Emerald Tablet”, considered as the very foundation for alchemy. Some believe the text contains secret to create the philosopher’s stone. According to some legend the text was craved or etched in and giant piece of Emerald block. Seemingly impossible because it would require an Emerald so large, like many subjects in history we most likely will never find the true answer.
One thing can be certain is that Emerald is always treated as the symbol of vitality and growth. A tangible form of lifeforce itself; and thus, makes perfect sense to represent the Spring season of May.
Green Onyx As the “Budget Emerald”
Being one of the rarest minerals on earth, Emerald is one of the highest priced among all gemstones. Luckily there are alternatives. Green Onyx is a popular choice for the color closely resembles Emerald. Also called Green Chalcedony or Green Agate, these are the same stone just goes by different name. Onyx itself is a well know stone cherish by men since antiquity. For example, the Romans use Onyx as cameo (where the word originates), a portrait carved on a piece of gemstone.
Green Onyx are commonly semi-transparent or opaque, unified in green without pattern. In comparison to Emerald’s clear transparency, Green Onyx is slightly different looking yet their color have close resemblance. An affordable stone, Green Onyx is growing more and more popular nowadays.
Malachite’s Beautiful Pattern Loved by the Egyptian
Malachite is a green to dark green opaque stone with marbled pattern. Some culture nickname it “Peacock stone”, since the green hue similar to those of peacock. Malachite is not a traditional birthstone, but just like Emerald also is a stone beloved by the ancient Egyptians; as evident in their jewelry, ornament and even burial items. This stone was so cherished, legend has it that Cleopatra used ground up Malachite and apply the paste as eye shadow. As an important note, do not try this because minerals are not in any way meant to be use as cosmetic.
Like Emerald for its green color, Malachite is seen by the Egyptian as the gemstone for rejuvenation and resurrection. A semi-precious stone which is more commonly found, Malachite is more affordable but stunning in its own way. An entirely different look from Emerald, nowadays is being consider as an alternative May birthstone for the green color also coincide with the lifeful Spring vibe of May.
Tsavorite as a Younger Version of Emerald
A relatively new addition to the gemstone family. Tsavorite is not discovered until the 1960’s. This gem is an interesting alternative birthstone because the translucent property and green hue resembles Emerald; and yet Tsavorite is actually a rare green form of Garnet, so it is seen as the substitute for January birthstone for those who don’t like the deep red of Garnet. On the other hand, for those who are born in May but prefer a lighter green hue Tsavorite makes a good choice.
In comparison, Emerald processes a deeper shade of green which offers a rich, elite feeling; Tsavorite’s green is in a more saturated and vibrant, looking younger and more fun. Both stunning in its own way, which shade of green to choose is really a matter of personal preference. Being one of the rarest forms of Garnet, a good Tsavorite cost as much as an Emerald so it’s not considered a budget alternative but rather a choice of color variation.
We hope you learn more about May birthstone and the choices. Let’s celebrate Spring with a shade of lush green! Take this opportunity and enjoy 25% off on all items though out the month of May.

The origin of St. Valentine’s Day- the tragic version.
There are many theories on how Valentine’s Day originates. The most common believe is a date in honor of Saint Valentine. The story goes during the third century Rome, a time when Catholic are prosecuted for their believes, a priest named Valentine (or Valentinus) was thrown into prison. Later he one-sidedly fell in love with daughter of the chief jailer. Priest Valentine writes her a love letter every day in hopes of a returning affection. His effort is in vain however, not only the chief jailer’s daughter does not return the love, moreover annoyed by the poor priest’s action she ordered to have him tortured, blinded and eventually killed. A literal example of “love is blind”. After his martyrdom people learned the news and are touched by the tragic, setting Valentine ‘s date of execution as a special date for remembrance. Going down in the tunnel of history we gradually lost its gruesome origin, but the spirit of love remains.
Heart jewelry is a popular choice as gift and what makes ours are special.
Rather or not the story of the poor priest’s fate is the true origin, Valentine’s Day is forever tied to the celebration for lovers. Heart motif jewelry is a very popular choice as gift, because the gesture is a literal act of “giving somebody your heart”. A little cliché? Maybe. But things are popular for a reason, often what’s consider cliché are what works best. The problem is the overdoing making the symbol losing the original effect. Having this thought in mind I design our heart shape jewelry to be a little different. Still within the premise of the ever-popular motif, but with a little flare giving it a special meaning.
SCARED HEART contains the meaning of devotion rooted in Christianity. In today’s pop-culture the motif is adopted by all believes as a common symbol for passionate love. I make the heart on fire cute and dainty proportional wise; adding volume and depth giving this piece a 3 dimensional look. Classic yet unique, this design is available as necklace and stud earrings.
ANGELA is a dainty ring set with your choice of color raw diamond. I play with contrast in this piece: detailed and finely crafted motif against the rough texture of raw diamond. The same theme of duality also presented in the heart itself, having a pair of angel wing as well as devil’s horn. Naughty or nice really is a matter of perception.
AMOR is the Romanized name for Cupid. I interpreted the baby angel as a cute and simple heart with a pair of pave diamond rings. Available in various choice of gemstone, a great choice as alternative engagement ring.

Opal, Rose Quartz and Tourmaline: The Birthstones of October
Is October birthstone Opal, Tourmaline or Rose Quartz?
The simple answer is all three. Originally Opal was the only stone selected to represent October, but later on Tourmaline was added, and eventually extended to Rose Quartz.
To many people October is the month of romance. We love this autumn season for its ever-changing colors, brisky cool temperature, and a general vibe of coziness. Why are these gemstones selected to symbolize October? The stories and theories are intriguing, let’s read on to find out!
Opal, Zodiac and Astrology
Libra (Sep 23- Oct 22) and Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21) are the Zodiac signs of October. We can look into astrology for critical clues to why Opal was selected to represent the month, because modern birthstones were curated by organizations like the National Jewelers of American, and astrology always plays an important role to the decision.
A convincing hypothesis goes like this: Libra’s ruling planet is Venus which traditionally symbolize light and radiance; by extension further represents pleasure, desire and everything luxurious. High in feminine energy, Opal is the perfect embodiment of these qualities marked by its unique sparkling effect.
In another aspect the multi-color Opal correlates with the hue of autumn season, which adds on to the planet Venus association.
Scorpio Association with Opal
Our Scorpios friends are deeply emotional and intense with all things they pursuit. There is simply no better gemstone best describe this characteristic than Opal. Just look at this beautiful gemstone, the shimmering multi-color effect known as the Opalescence evoke all kinds of passion and emotions. Opal is a natural fit for Scorpios.
Tourmaline as the Modern Birthstone of October
Beautiful as the Opal are, it is one of the rarest gemstones on Earth, which obviously comes with a handsome price tag. Plus, aesthetically speaking Opal is too feminine for some people’s taste, and thus Tourmaline was officially added as a second choice for October birthstone. Tourmaline comes in many colors too, which makes a great representation for the autumn vibe; also coincide with the temperament of both October Zodiacs.
Tourmaline comes in many colors reminiscent of autumn. A well recognize color is pink, with the top-quality specimens also called Rubellite. Other variants like purple, green, brown, yellow, black, white, and anything in between are adore by gemstone lovers. The most prized are the teal variant known as Paraiba Tourmaline, a stunning beauty and also one of the rarest stone on earth. Tourmaline is so colorful, in some aspect could be a better representation of Autumn color than Opal.
Rose Quartz, the Contemporary Choice of Alternative Birthstone
We see why Tourmaline was adopted as the second birthstone of October in the beginning of 20th Century. With the abundance choice of color, Pink Tourmaline is still the more popular variation. With the public’s recognition of Pink Tourmaline as October birthstone, in recent years some people feel that the pink hue of Tourmaline is too intense, and thus opted for the pastel-colored Rose Quartz. Although not “officially” an October birthstone, nowadays we commonly see Rose quartz also as an October birthstone and love it for the gentle shade of pink. Compares to Pink Tourmaline, Rose quartz have a more casual vibe and very suitable for daily wear.
With so many choices of birthstone for October, which one best suit you really boil down to a matter of personal preference. All three gemstones are different type of beauty to be admire in their own way. Why not all three for the vibrant mood of October?
