I, admittedly, am a gourmand enjoyer, but i have to admit, they can get sickeningly and cloying easily, and can lean juvenile as well, if not done properly. what scent categories/profiles do you prefer to wear ?

gourmand fragrances are really those scents that are not pulled off by many. I am amazed by the people who do so.

personally, I like wearing fragrances in the oriental–woody family. this is my current rotation of scents:

givenchy l'interdit intense: this is my current signature scent! she is what I'd like to describe the witchy sister of the l'interdit sisters. also, givenchy is surprisingly cheap and affordable in where i live?? 🫶

le labo the noir 29: I was a santal 33 girl, still am, she is a classic and I cannot go wrong with her. however, I have been loving this fragrance more lately.

disclaimer, my le labo fragrances are dupes bc I will starve if I buy the authentic ones. they are, however, pretty good dupes for about 10$ and I'd say they are 90% similar to the originals. but, like any cheap fragrance though, over time, grows a sour smell to it. I'd say about a little over a year, they will eventually manifest that scent. I like reusing the bottles for other purposes to not waste them 🫶

commodity moss: this is especially saved for the more special occasions. this was gifted. bold scent, heavy on patchouli. my friends told me it gives off cemetery petrichor.

and my wishlist/dream scents:

fathom v by beaufort, beaute du diable, and dark door intense by maison alhambra! it will definitely be my first arab scent
