murasai indulgence really cannot ever be more than a "this might as well happen" sentiment from saiko but i do think a happy ending is eventually possible. i do think saiko can fall just a tiny little bit in love from being earnestly liked by a loser. it really is just so hilarious to me to think years later saiko would still be famous billionnaire saikocorp prince protagonist of life just with a complete nobody cringefail boyfriend. murata is lowkey like the ugly little white dog in saikos purse so to speak

As hype as it is reading Medalist and watching everyone pull off triple axels and quad combination jumps and skate all these complex flawless routines, I just have to ask: where are these elusive elementary schoolers who can pull all this off? Show me the timeline where there are 11-year-old girls who can master a quad combination jump on a whim when most world-class competitive adult men don't even include them in their programs. I'm being serious, please tell me where they are, I'll start watching novice skating competitions if this is what I'm missing out on

tips for quadrobists from a beginner with some basic skills

(im not trying to exclude those who dont/cant do quads im just putting up some tips for those who do)

pleasepleasepleaseplease stretch

dont wear tight trousers, it makes everything so difficult

wear non-constricting clothing it will help so much

i dont reccomend going immediately into jumps, it helps to build up strength with walking and trotting etc first

bunny walking & frog jumping is valid

it is okay to take the weight on your back legs while learning jumps, you dont wanna injure your wrists

build up to higher jumps in steps (e.g half a box, then whole box, then one and a half)

practise a step before moving on too fast, i know its difficult sometimes but it will make a difference

the clock app can be useful for inspiration if you learn from watching, but there are compilations on youtube

dont do it in a mask immediately (if you do wear one) and if you do make sure it has ventilation, remember this is exercise

make sure you have space, i ran into my amplifier once and not only did it hurt it was super loud and I haven't exactly told my family i do quads

try to find spaces outdoors that have less people on them

a piece of fleece in some gloves is a lifesaver for sore hands just make sure it wont slip

form doesnt matter too much during the early learning stages but make sure you get it in there

genuinely i do think its sweet that characters like nendou or aren were never swayed by saikos money and just befriended (? one sidedly or so saiko thinks) him naturally cuz for better or for worse they just like him as a person. BUT it is so much more insane and interesting to me that he DID fucking buy takahashi yokota and muratas friendship. the plan was only to suck up to him so hed buy them stuff and give them money and they got hit with unexpected feelings. to the point that saikos usual behavior (the kind of behavior they actively encouraged before!) became horribly irritating to them because they came to genuinely think of him as a friend and it sucked that it was so clear saiko didnt feel the same way about them. didnt even wanna try to understand when they told him even. now of course trying to get back at him for it by being (anonymously (but badly)) mean to him isnt the way to go but fucckkk i LOVEEEE the messiness of it i love the frustration born out of their unrequited feelings its so crazy to me its so much more fun to me
