In 1913, a rare #CognacDiamond, found in South Africa’s #OrangeRiver, was sold by @Cartier to the #MaharajaRanjisinhjiOfNawanagar. In 1934, his successor, the #MaharajaDigvijaysinhji sent the stone – called the #TigerEye - back to #Cartier, for them to set it in an #Aigrette that he could wear on his #Turban. It is in this form, that we find today’s #WearableProzac – the #TigerEyeTurbanOrnament – that is now part of the @Al.Thani.Collection. Featuring the #LOeilDeTigreDiamant (61.50cts) set in #Platinum, with #RoundCut and #BaguetteCut #Diamonds; the Maharaja wore this with a #Plume of pure white #EgretFeathers.
