A Game of Thrones book rant

I'm tired of seeing all these article going on and on about anything ASOIAF: TWoW... like how GRRM changed the ending so it would be different from the show (this is pretty obvious w/o being said considering how many key characters in the book are either dead or not in the show)... and how the release will be delayed -- again.

I get these are clickbaity articles and I'm disappointed that some sites that I frequent would also have this. I'm desperate for news and it doesn't help that what we hear about GRRM is that he's working on something else.

I'm not saying that he should stop everything he's doing and finish TWoW because I respect him and his decisions to do whatever. I'm just venting my frustration over these articles that remind me of my frustration. For all I know, GRRM decided to kill off my favorite character/s and be pissed about it.

I do have faith though that he wouldn't do a DnD and give us a nonsensical ending with Jon Snow going, "Yas mah qween", over and over again.

Have you noticed that people of colour who adore the G*T show are often even more racist than the white fans, consciously or unconsciously? Some of the most racist stuff I have heard came from Indians ("Elia was cheating on R with every guy in KL and her kids were fathered by Aerys", "Dany automatically became Khaleesi of all the Dothraki in the world after destroying their holy place, yaasss kween" etc) like dimaag ka darwaza kabhi to kholo beta

Oh I have.  I have been to (quora/reddit I don't remember which one ) side of got  people were horrible.  Elia's tag was filled with answers such as she had sex with her brother/ uncle/ crazy father in law, she exchanged her baby with ashara's and leading to babe's death which is why ashara killed her self or that weak brown woman faked pregnancy and the kids are actually adopted.  She deserved her fate for what she ( by an Indian). Tbh I have a few friends who have watched the show but not one who have read the book and when I tell them the difference they are like -" okay you must be right. I watch it for fantasy creatures." thank God they are not that crazy.And don't get me started on their opinion on Dany. "Mah qween burn those brown savages. "  that's literally a crime. But she was naked.I think most of the racism that comes from them is from the attitude- ' I am a woke Indian and I don't watch those shitty Indian soap opera . I only watch good content on television like got or mirzapur.'(I think that looks tacky ).  I think they do so to be accepted by west.You know who are the worst kind of racist? The diaspora desi girl who hates everyone Indian and is better than people back there.Also what else can you expect from a society who is taught to blame the woman/ victim for every damn thing.  Tbh I don't think 50% of them even realize that martells are brown. All they know is that targ are magical. They would have said same thing for cat or Cersei too.
