#magvel headcanons
Note
I used to be big on crackshipping and crack aus in general (still am, just toned down a little) so I've got a huge backlog of all kinds of crackships and since I am trying to unlearn shame about the things that make me happy, I'll share some here :3
Lute x Raphael: genius who performs experiments on her bf who is just happy to be included and there's the bonus of Ignatz and Artur friendship where they discuss art (see christmas paralog in heroes). Ship name is Luphael
Mercedes x Eirika: EXHAUSTED Eirika who just wants a break after the Magvel war and Mercedes who is more than happy to show her around Fodlan and fend off assholes (primarily Sylvain)
Thrasir x Onyankopon (from attack on titan): I personally like to call this ship "magical killer zombie (?) princess lady and Dave from accounting". I don't remember why I first found the ship appealing or even how I thought of it (I think it was just the overlap of the hyperfixations) but I like it a lot. It's a bit similar to Eiricedes in the way that it's "exhausted and burnt out x someone with a lot of love to give" but taken to its logical extreme. I made a fankid for them and everything. I think the most notable part of the ship was the headcanon that Onyankopon would make guns for Thrasir. Iirc the ship name for them was Thrakopon.
Also, with so many asks, I'd suggest turning them off for a bit so you can get down to a manageable number before reopening the floodgates

Hey, regarding the if fire emblem humans and dragons are evolutionarily close:
I'm very sure it's mentioned in at least one fire emblem game or manual or something that the wyverns evolved from dragons who didn't get the sickness or choose to become manaketes so either where i got that from is wrong or the in-game history books have it wrong or something.
Also, wouldn't that mean that the beast races are in the same boat?
(Please don't interpret this as me saying you're wrong or being accusatory im not sure how to word this but i'm just curious)
according to the good wiki, it MAYYY be the case that some archanean wyverns are actually degenerated dragons that refused to become manaketes, though i can't judge the certainty of that statement without playing the archanea games myself (which i seriously should do, goddamn), but in lore of games after that, you don't really see any relation at all
like games taking place in other worlds have manaketes and degeneration to some extent, but the relation between manaketes and wyverns in those is not specified iirc? like elibe, fates, lythos, magvel, tellius, you get it. lore is the same for a lot of things but old archanea lore isn't the be all end all of everything.
tldr i cant really judge that without going through every single game ever. probably shadow dragon and mystery.
¯_(ツ)_/¯
i would say the beast races are in the same boat, yeah! there's no reason for them not to be, after all. somebody also brought them up in the tags, and it's a good thought.
if ye olde humans were capable of shifting their forms to become dragons, who's to say they didn't shift to look like other animals, too? the wolfskin make the most sense here, as wolves and humans developed symbiosis pretty early, but the other species like taguel and kitsune also amount to "turn into a Huge Thing to punch your enemies dead."
it's funny to think that ye olde humans were just like. predisposed. to change into other stuff. maybe like four different human settlements all figured out the magic shapeshifting trick independantly and just kinda winged it. looking at the laguz specifically here lmao
it's cool to think abt for sure.
now i'm thinking abt how the various beastpeople tend to keep animal features in human form as well. maybe some features got "stuck", so to speak. or we go to ro-botany's theory of sexual selection that if u turn into a huge beast whenever, the more animal your human features the sexier you are. maybe shapeshifting affects gene expression. who knows. (the feli speculative biology special: bring up epigenetics again)
....i mean. just look at monsterfuckers.
all around i am integrating this into my headcanons bcuz it's generally just funny as hell. those dragons are apes.

♡ (hi kano <3. completing the joke)
(Cracks knuckles.) You know how it be.
Tumblr media
For some reason I felt very compelled to make her a girl, so voila! Valter-Kurth fankid. Did not expect to ever say that when I first apped the guy. Anyways.
I'd imagine her to be a really nice girl! Very high charisma, gets along well with others, headcanon as a lesbian but nature versus nurture, serial killer traits are partially nature, and if Valter is one of the parents. ahem.
She won't end up as bad as him I don't think (just cuz exile sucks man idk what else to tell you), but you gotta get to the top of the [age group here] totem pole yfm?
Tumblr media
All the cool girls in Magvel (Marisa, Tethys, Neimi, Lute, L'Arachel, etc etc) have exposed shoulders!! She's one of the cool kids too :sunglasses: Being the kid of a beorc (Valter) and a laguz (Kurth), she'd also have a brand, which I'm imagining to be on the back of one of her hands? Not really certain which one, but she's got gloves on for that reason. (Also [mostly] because they look swaggers.)
On the topic of being branded, Kurth wouldn't be able to transform after all this, so. Oops I guess? Sorry Your Majesty, your struggle tweet era has begun. At least she gets to live longer and stuff ( >o•)b
As for class, I'm imagining one of two possibilities:
First, the wyvern rider class line. Valter's a wyvern knight, and Kurth's a dragon laguz. Is she supposed to not adore dragons and their kin? Definitely a fan since childhood. Especially after finding out that Kurth used to be able to transform but can't anymore, she'd probably enjoy flying her wyvern with Kurth that way he can experience flying again.
The second possibility is an assassin of sorts? Likely from Myrmidon instead of Thief (since FE8 has that option) since Kurth is pretty anti-violence, but it'd still allow her to fight and such. I also think she'd appreciate that sweet Silence, you know? Pierce ignores defense, Silence ignores your will to live. It's thematic.
In either situation, she'd lean into Strength, Skill, and Speed, as well as a bit on Res because that's one of the few stats that Valter's better than Glen at (and by a lot), so a natural affinity there. Are we going to bring up affinity? I'd say Anima since its boosts are similar to Water (which is Kurth's), and Ross and Garcia both being Fire suggest that affinity is inherited. (But also Fire is super common so maybe that means nothing.) Weaknesses would sort of depend on what class line she ends up in (people with bows and arrows if the wyvern class line and hp and defense if the assassin class line), but yeah! That's about it for game stuff.
As for more on personality, I think she'd pick up most of her hobbies from Kurth! So reading and studying would come more from that dad. Training and weapon maintenance comes from the other.
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

✶ — › 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐒 ‹ — ✶
I'm gonna go ahead and only use one post for both my muses opposed to the two separate ones I usually do. So here's a list of prompts that I'm looking for on both Scáthach and Ephraim! Keep in mind that BOTH my boys are Blue Lions, so some prompts require a Golden Deer muse.
SCÁTHACH:
Axe +1 - I'd be really interested in exploring this as a two people with differing agendas kinda of deal. I know Scáthach would be interested in checking out the validity of this new mine, and he's certainly no stranger to going undetected. Would be interesting to go through this with someone a little less serious, or maybe in it for more selfish reasons, but I'm down with whatever! (REQUIRES GOLDEN DEER MUSE)
PHOTO-ARTIFEX - I think this could be a fun bonding experience for Scáthach and someone else. I'm sure he's most interested in these new photos as a way to cement his journey here. He's weirdly sentimental in that way, everything feels a little fleeting to him. Take some silly photos with him and maybe make a friend!
BOW +1 - Scáthach of late has been getting really into learning how to use the bow (he brought one to boel)! I'm not sure he's actually interested in the bow being sold moreso than he's looking for a chance to gain more experience, and maybe show off? He feels a connection to the bow he can't really explain, and he'd love to get better at it. He's no stranger to hunting either, so you'll be in good hands TAKEN BY LEIF!
SWORD +1 - Scáthach didn't get to enjoy the ball as much as he would have liked to last year, but it's still a vivid memory in his mind. The entire thing was so bizarre, how could ANYONE? When he hears rumors of rats playing instruments, and missing students, he's concerned. If the church won't put their ear to the ground, then he will! It certainly would help to have a sharp mind alongside him! TAKEN BY ALTENA!
EPHRAIM:
HEAVY ARMOR +1 - Ephraim is from one of the few countries in Magvel that doesn't have easy access to the ocean. His summer alt unfortunately ruined my headcanon that he might not be familiar with swimming, but we press on. I think he would like to take in the sights of the ocean, and of course, beating on some pirates never hurt anyone either, right? Well- maybe the pirates... If you'd like some ocean time but worry about pirates, have Ephraim release some of that pent up boel energy on them while you sip a fruity drink in the shade! Or maybe you wanna join on the smacking around, it's up to you!  TAKEN BY FELIX!

oh man, i don't have any ships for you to rate but would you be willing to share more thoughts on eirika, ephraim and lyon? (especially lyon) your analysis of ephraim and lyon's personalities is SO good i just. can't even
Ok, so this is super late and I’m sorry, but here’s what I’ve got.
You know how sometimes you have that childhood friend that’s like, a friend of your parent? You see them on vacations sometimes, maybe once or twice a year, and it’s super fun, because you’re five and being five and going on vacations and playing with other five year olds is fun. You get along great on said vacations, and maybe you think it’d be awesome if you went to the same school as they did, but they’re not really your friend the same way that the people who go to your school or live next door to you are, because you only see them a few times a year, in very specific circumstances.
Then once you get older, you start to realize that you actually don’t know this person all that well. You still enjoy visiting, and you still feel fondly towards them because you were best buddies as kids, but the magic is kinda gone. Maybe you get along even better now that you can talk at teenagers/young adults/adults and you actually have stuff in common. But maybe you realize that you probably wouldn’t have been friends if you did live in the same place because you don’t have much in common or your personalities don’t gel or whatever, and even though you’re still fond of the person, actually hanging out with them is a little awkward.
What I’m getting at is that Lyon is that friend for Eirika and Ephraim. They get along awesome as kids, because they’re kids, and Lyon is so starved for company and companionship (because there is no one else who is his age and also of an equal social standing as him, so he can’t really make any true friends or confidants in Grado) that he thinks that Eirika and Ephraim are just the most magical things ever, and whenever they leave, he thinks about them all the time. Not only are they great to have around for their company, but they also possess qualities that he feels that he himself lacks, and (this would come into play more as he got older) they’re also super beautiful and that’s nice too. Plus, they make him feel like he’s actually a good person, a good prince, and they give him the affection and positive reinforcement that he doesn’t get as much as he wants from his own family.
As they get older, their dynamic isn’t quite as effortless, and it becomes more and more clear that their personalities are quite different, especially Lyon and Ephraim. But it doesn’t matter to Lyon. He doesn’t have a sibling, so he considers Eirika and Ephraim to be his closest friends, even if they almost never has the chance to talk. He projects on them a lot: they represent happiness to him, because being with them as kids was probably the happiest he’s ever been. They represent affection and acceptance, because they accepted him as he is and thought he was cool for being so bookish, and didn’t make any judgements on his failings as a prince. They represent the ideal ruler to him, because even though they both have flaws, they also have strengths that really complement each other, so between the two of them they seem like they really have it all figured out. Any actual awkwardness or distance between them is overshadowed by the fact that Lyon has subconsciously made them into living symbols of everything good.
Eirika and Ephraim, on the other hand, don’t have the same kind of view of Lyon. They’re not as emotionally starved as he is; they have each other, they have close contact with Tana and Innes too, and their parents are pretty supportive of them. So Lyon is a good friend, but that’s all he is. He isn’t the only source of affirmation or affection they got as kids, so they don’t rely on the idea of him as much as he relies on the idea of them.
That said, they do think of him in different ways as they get older. Although they do drift apart, just due to time and circumstance and the fact that they rarely see each other and then mostly for politics, Eirika does genuinely like Lyon and consider him a friend. He’s very smart and very kind and very nonjudgemental, and even though Ephraim is her best friend, Lyon is a great contrast to Ephraim sometimes. Lyon is calm where Ephraim is always moving. Lyon is happy to discuss more abstract, academic, or political topics at length, and is never dismissive of her contributions or her idealism, even though they often disagree. Lyon does not dominate a room the way that Ephraim does, and around Lyon, Eirika always feels like she is heard and understood. Eirika makes an effort to keep in touch with Lyon, although probably less than he would like, and genuinely considers him to be one of her circle of friends.
Ephraim views Lyon more the way we view a childhood friend who we don’t have much in common with. He’s fond of him, and he feels nostalgia for the good old days when they were kids, but he feels like he’s outgrown Lyon. He and Lyon have almost nothing in common; their strengths are very different, and so are their personalities. This doesn’t bother Lyon, but Ephraim is secretly very insecure about feeling unintelligent or unsuited to be king (he also resents the fact that he has to be king), and being around Lyon reminds him of his own inadequacies because Lyon is strong at the things that Ephraim is weak at. Ephraim does not like to contemplate on or acknowledge his own inadequacies, so being around Lyon is uncomfortable for him. Being around Ephraim also makes Lyon acutely aware of his own shortcoming, but Lyon is incredibly hard on himself all the time, so it doesn’t really bother him.
Although Lyon’s strengths make him feel inadequate, Lyon’s weaknesses in some of the things that Ephraim values (physical prowess, charisma, etc) also make Ephraim uncomfortable. He doesn’t try to feel this way, but he does look down on Lyon for lacking certain qualities, because he has associated them so closely with the concepts of manhood and kinghood. Again, this comes back to Ephraim’s own confidence. Ephraim has always been told that he is good at things, so he must be good at being a prince. If Ephraim is good at being a prince, then Lyon must be bad at it because they are so different. And if Lyon isn’t bad at it, then Ephraim has to think about how he himself might not be so great, and he doesn’t want to do that. Of course, it’s not that simple in reality, but Ephraim shys away from nuanced thinking, especially about his own character flaws, so he doesn’t really consider that.
So through no fault of Lyon’s own, Ephraim doesn’t feel all that connected to him anymore due to a combination of Ephraim’s own insecurities and the natural passage of time. Ephraim does not overtly dislike Lyon at all, but he likes him more out of nostalgia and obligation than of anything else. He is warm to Lyon when they do meet, but distant, unlike Eirika, who is genuinely warm. Even though Eirika is much more supporting/approving of Lyon than Ephraim is, Lyon craves Ephraim’s approval more, perhaps because they’re both princes so he has the potentially incorrect impression that Ephraim is more suited to judge him. Or perhaps it is because Lyon is so used to putting himself down that he is more inclined to believe negative opinions of himself. Regardless, Lyon values their friendship equally but tends to give more weight to Ephraim’s opinions.
Ok, that’s all I have for now (and it’s really long already, sorry!). Sorry for the long delay in answering this, and I hope you enjoyed it!

Would you say that 3H has caused lasting fandom damage considering now we have a bunch of imbeciles trying to argue that FE has always been about "lizards bad", basically missing the forest for the trees?
I'm not going to call people names because this is a Fandom blog, but...
I understand where you are coming from, anon.
It's as if someone wants to defend Orc n°68 thus says Tolkien's LOTR "extolls the virtues and inherent goodness of War".
Missing the point is a thing, it's another entirely to shoot at the lama 78 km away instead.
Elibe, Archanea, Magvel and Tellius never say lizards bad, it is always a comparison between dragons and humans which ends as some "we're not so different after all, let's work for a peaceful coexistence in the country/world".
Everyone can have their own shit takes, some of mine were, with hindsight, seriously crappy back then. But when you defend them by calling people transphobes or what not because the deck is stacked against you, it's not "anyone can have their own takes" but it becomes "lol it's this person again who has a breakdown each time we tell her a part of her otp isn't into women and she tries to force her headcanons everywhere, claiming it's canon".

Random Frelia Headcanon
Frelian social classes are determined by who can prove their worth in society and make notable contributions. Nobility are expected to participate in a lot of charity and philanthropy, and those who fail to prove that they are contributing to Frelia’s growth are at risk of losing their noble titles.
(It is for this reason that Innes distrusts people who “act out of purely altruistic motives,” and why he’s obsessed with proving himself and being perfect.)
Meanwhile, commoners who prove themselves with extraordinary works can find themselves rising in society even if they came from the slums. Those who join the army can also rise in society with their accomplishments.
Frelian royalty also are known for taking spouses without regard for their social standing, so long as the spouse is considered someone who will benefit Frelia’s growth. Others never married, though their technically-illegitimate children or adopted children took the thrones after them. (See the Innes/Vanessa ending, as she never marries him but has a child with him that is seen as a blessing by all. Tana/Cormag paired ending is also arguably platonic depending on your reading of it, and their supports have her argue that all lives are valuable.)
(And yes, this means that Hayden, Innes, and Tana may not have any actual blood tie to the Hero who founded Frelia. Not like we know anything about them anyways, and this is just headcanon.)

Does the amount of headcanons we're allowed to come up with for characters connected to our muse differ based on how likely someone is to app them? For instance, comparing a Fates kid mun making hcs about their canon father who is playable, to a... Magvel character's hcs about their very briefly mentioned NPC mother, would the latter have more leeway when it comes to specific headcanons about the relationship/interaction with the muse?
In this group, all playable characters and major antagonists have a high probability of being applied for so we ask individuals whose muses have connections with playable characters to limit the detail of the headcanons they write about them. This is both to prevent potential applicants from being forced to adhere to another person's ideas, and so that the mun who originally wrote the headcanon does not have to erase something that they had made integral to their muse's characterization.
While we have accepted some minor NPCs in the past, such as Magnus from Shadows of Valentia/Gaiden, this is not the norm and in general we allow muns more freedom to write HCs about NPCs. Someone writing Felix, for example, could write more HCs about Rodrigue despite Rodrigue being a prominent supporting character in Three Houses. However, they are still subject to the same rules: if someone were to apply for Rodrigue, then the HCs already written would need to be discussed with the other mun, and removed if the other mun disagrees with them. In most cases, it's simply easier to keep HCs about other characters vague.
We do not place hard limits on "amount" of headcanons, and characters from gen 2 of Fates, Awakening, and Genealogy are still allowed to write headcanons about their parents. For everyone's sake though, we ask that you not be too detailed, and to not form important pieces of your muse's characterization around a specific idea that could be subject to change.
We hope this answered your question, and please let us know if you have any others.

           ☀   //    HEADCANONS.  /  some renais worldbuilding
COUNTRY. the kingdom of renais
COLORS. dark — nearly black — indigo and that fiery sunset-orange are its two signature colors: the two you see on ephraim's cloak in his sachiko wada cipher illustrations. incredibly bold hues. renaissian decor is well-known for its vibrant and intricate use of color in general ( think persian rugs ).
SYMBOL. the rearing mounted cavalry knight. on their flag, it's emblazoned with a lance and sword crossed behind the figure: siegmund and sieglinde.
GOVERNMENT. absolute monarchy. though the king has a handful of advisors, there are few to no checks in place to monitor his power: no cabinet, no court. hinges very heavily on having good leadership, as seen when everything went to shit under orson.
CAPITAL CITY. a bit of a trick question with renais. the capital city is knaan ( pron. kay-nen ), situated in the valley of hamon-duin ( the bottom-most of the three valleys that renais' territory stretches across, the one the castle is seen located in in the game map — lit. 'valley of multitudes of [mael]duin'. there's war history here. for another time ). but some ways east of knaan is castle renais itself, a separate structure nested right at the base of the mountain range that separates renais from jehanna and carcino.
originally, boas of the five heroes, the kingdom's founder, had the castle built during the war against the demon king as a refuge for the disparate people of the area suffering from being terrorized by monsters. its first, short-lived name was lost to history, but it was renamed castle renais at the christening of the kingdom itself after the defeat of fomortiis to symbolize the new age of freedom for humanity in magvel.
as time went on, of course, castle renais and its surrounding castle town wasn't big enough to hold the ballooning population, and so the capital city of knaan was constructed further in the valley at a natural chokepoint. the much smaller castle town of renais then became a place only for the royal family and its immediate retainers and guards, which it remains to this day. the kingdom of renais is thus a curious case where the royal castle isn't located in a city, but stands separately in a remote location. this physical rift compounds upon the mindset passed down in its monarchic family that royalty governs the people from a distance to maintain unquestioned authority.
at some point about 200 years after the sealing of fomortiis, the king of renais at the time declared that, as the capital of renais, knaan should look the part, and redesigned it as a fortified city despite the time of peace throughout magvel. and he didn't just want a nice wall and some decorative fixtures — he wanted the city to be able to withstand an onslaught from all the armies of magvel combined. the result is an impressive military citadel of 12-meter high walls fully enclosing the city, several dozen watch towers spaced along its perimeter armed with countersiege fittings, and a heavily-fortified bridge across the river to one of its entrances, which is protected by another chatalet. someone had too much money and nowhere to spend it.
during the grado attack, though the kingdom itself fell with the taking of castle renais, knaan actually was never captured by the grado army. unable to get past its defenses, they instead held knaan under siege while their elite forces painstakingly bypassed it to get to castle renais directly. as the route through the valley had been designed so that castle renais would be near inaccessible if knaan didn't fall first, this feat would have been much more difficult, maybe even impossible, if renais' forces hadn't already been all but overrun by this time, aka. if ephraim had been there to defend it. the siege then lifted some weeks later to answer ephraim's offensive into grado, leaving knaan one of the only places that technically remained in renaissian hands the whole time.

Fruity Headcanons | Accepting
Hah........ I’ll separate these by question because there’s some stuff to unpack.
CW: Body image and hints of sexual harassment
How comfortable is my muse in their body?
We’re starting off strong I see... So, a recurring theme, in older FE games that I’ve noticed, is sexual harassment and misogyny as a whole. In FE8, while I don’t remember it specifically stating what brigands and the like (generally from Grado) do to women, but there are some heavy implications that treatment is reflective of these themes—treating and talking about them as if they were “prizes to be bought and sold” so to speak. Tana, as I’m writing her from Ephraim’s route where she gets kidnapped twice, pretty much goes through this (and of course, is out of that situation). It’s pretty apparent from how reactive she is at General Gheb’s little “interrogation” suggestion and his comments about how lustful he is towards women.
On that note, I don’t think I could completely say she has body image issues, but she’s made more aware of some of the more leering eyes of Magvel and I guess everywhere. Based off her Heroes art and alt, even her in game art, she’s kind of busty and isn’t naive enough to not notice looks that she might receive. So, while it’s not enough for her to be insecure, it’s enough to be feel at least a little conscious about.
How do they feel about their height, weight, strength, and body type?
Height, weight, and body type are either addressed in the previous question, or she feels rather neutral about. Strength, however is something Tana is more conscious about.
In Frelia, at least in the noble/royal circle, misogyny isn’t very prevalent, in fact, it hosts strong women who are on par with the men and basing off of Innes and King Hayden, they’re well aware of that. (Know your place boys- skdlgjdsf Kidding) In Tana’s case, she is a fledgling knight who, of course, got the training that the others did, but is newer to the battlefield at the beginning of the war. It’s shown in her supports that she’s doubted and this (rightfully so) frustrates her. She’s frustrated not only by their lack of support, but also because she’s a little unsure if she should even be out on the battlefield so when everyone, even yourself, is telling you that you can’t do something, it takes a toll on self-esteem. Luckily though, Eirika reminds her that she has a right to be there and others do too, to an extent, and she has enough willpower and determination to succeed and pull her weight.
I also wanted to add, that according to other people’s experience, if trained right, she becomes one of your more powerful and useful units (especially given high speed, health, and luck growths) so I like to think of it as a “I will show you” kind of moment.
How important is being attractive to them?
This is the easiest question to answer and I touched on it a little in the physical appearance HC post, but beyond having a reputation and image to upkeep, appearance isn’t so much a priority as say... strength and prowess. Also, as an addendum to my previous answers, her experience is even more of a reason to not give two pegasus plops about what anyone thinks.

Dimitri or Ephraim
Ooooh.
So on the one hand, I maintain that Dimitri is an absolutely phenomenal deconstruction of the most archetypical of FE Lord archetypes while simultaneously being, IMO, the culmination of that line of Lords in a way that deeply resonates with me, personally.
(glances over back catalogue of 150+ ‘fics starring fucked-up Marth, fucked-up Leif, fucked-up Ephraim…)
And Dimitri does this while also shining in the Azure Moon plotline, which itself works so goddamn well as a realization of Ye Olde Standarde FE Plot in which all the dark stuff that hovers at the edges or in corners finally comes into full view and is grappled with and resolved in a way that works… if you don’t think about the overall setting of the game too much, anyway.
Dimitri is amazing and I love love love that he’s become the standout male character from FE16 ‘cause the boy deserves it.
On the other hand, Ephraim like all Magvel characters has the benefit of being essentially self-contained and his Heroes incarnation has been a delight without IMO either overturning what could reasonably be seen in his GBA-canon self including the gay part or by reducing FE8!Ephraim to caricature. Heroes has mostly just added joyous life and color to Eph while, uh, giving fair confirmation to quite a few bits o’ headcanon that were debatable back in the day.
In conclusion, I would say Dimitri is the better, richer, more deeply developed character, but at present Ephraim still gives me more visceral pleasure by his existence.

legit, my gf and i have a running 'head'canon where Eirika is just this smooth Alpha Lesbian in Magvel and every girl in her army lowkey has a thing for her
I object to this headcanon, there is nothing smooth about Eirika and I firmly believe she seduced all of Magvel entirely by accident.

eirika, mila (whichever), wa2000 but you can't otp her with the commander
hoo boy this’ll be a long one~
Eirika-
Favorite Thing About Them: I really fucking love Eirika’s whole arc, I love that she’s this really kind-hearted and charismatic princess who’s the textbook definition of femininity, but also when she realizes the lives of her friends, family, and all the citizens of Renais, are on the line, she absolutely pushes back and suddenly she’s this fierce and unstoppable warrior princess and it’s fucking amazing. My girl Eirika looked Glenn, one of the mightiest warriors of Grado, in the eye and basically said, “look man, I don’t want to fight you, but if you leave us no choice I’ll send you crying back to your emperor”.
Least Favorite Thing About Them: Fandom interpretation of her and basically how IntSys actively tries to erase her role as a protagonist of the game.
Favorite Line:
“I… We, the people of Renais, have long honored our allegiance with the Grado Empire. And you invaded without warning. You ravaged our land. You killed my father… Even then, I told myself, I must not hate Grado or her people. If I gave in to my hate, the bond between our lands would be lost forever. I refused to hate. Instead, I lived for the day our nations would know peace again. But… If this is Grado’s true face… If you could extinguish Renais without pity, without remorse… If this is the case, then there is no room in my heart for forgiveness.”
brOTP: Eirika&Tana! I never really liked them as a romantic pairing but I do love the friendship they have and how much they care about each other. I also 100% believe they would wingman for each other while looking for GFs
OTP: Self and crack shipping aside, I got two- Eirika x L’arachel is basically canon and also like, the best dynamic Eirika has in SS. Their A support is basically a marriage proposal and then there’s the scene in Rausten where in Eirika’s at her lowest point in the story and it’s L’arachel who’s there to pick her up. They’re really sweet, and really gay.
The other pairing would be Eirika and Lyon. They have an adorable dynamic and idc what anyone says, Eirika definitely returned his feelings, Lyon just never had the self-esteem to spit it out. I definitely live for fics/content of them where Lyon can assert himself a bit.
nOTP: Literally everyone of her male supports. They range from gross to sexist to really boring. The only guy on that list that’s good is Forde and that support is like, entirely platonic imo.
Random Headcanon: Eirika definitely gives off like, Alpha WLW vibes and has girls swooning over her across MagVel and none of it is intentional on her part/she doesn’t realize it’s happening.
Unpopular Opinion: She is absolutely a better written and more interesting protagonist than Ephraim.
Song I associate with them: Aside from a track within her own game, I don’t think I ever really had an ‘Eirika’ song? If I dig through what I’ve been listening to lately though I could sorta slap this one on her
Favorite Picture of them:
Tumblr media
Fractured Milla (’cause she needs more love)-
Favorite Thing About Them: I liked her difference in personality compared to regular Milla, I liked how she was a lot more outspoken aggressive. Xillia 2 definitely felt like it picked up a lot more once she joined the party.
Least Favorite Thing About Them: I was really disappointed with how early she left the party and the fact that she didn’t have any mystic artes : /
Really she just felt very underutilized
Favorite Line: ”I knew I wouldn’t like you”
brOTP: F.Milla&Elle! Their relationship is so good and wholesome in ToX2 and oH MY GOD IT BREAKS MY HEART SO MUCH, PLEASE PLAY XILLIA 2
OTP: F.Milla/Ludger- I mean, they were kinda written for each other, but still, the moments they share are really good, Milla wants to trust and like him but can’t let go of her grudge but they’re still brought together by wanting to protect Elle at all costs.
nOTP: F.Milla/Jude- Jude’s got his own Milla, and that’s really all there is to say on the matter lol
Random Headcanon: She absolutely hates the outfits Prime Milla wears and doesn’t care how many times she’s told Elle and Ludger that day about it
Unpopular Opinion: Idk if I really have any on this character, but I think she was the more interesting Milla tbh
I super don’t have a song or favorite pic but here’s more official art:
Tumblr media
WA2000-
Favorite thing about them: her smile Her designs are always really fucking cool and absolutely gorgeous. And then personality wise I love that she’s just like- if Asuka Langley Soryu/Rin Tohsaka was a YorHa android
Least Favorite thing about them: I was gonna make a joke about how there’s nothing I could say here but then I thought about it and realized the reason there’s not much I can say is because she hasn’t been featured in a whole lot of story, but that’s more a weakness of GFL than her character. For as well written as the characters and the story are here, no dolls really get enough focus outside of AntiRain/404/DEFY
Favorite Line: ”I, of all people, am giving you my gratitude. So you better accept it from the bottom of your heart. “
brOTP: WA2000&Springfield- I feel like Springfield is just trying to be a good wingman for Wa2k and it’s really cute and nice
OTP: Since I’m banned from self-shipping here, I’ll go with the equally self-satisfying answer and say Wa2k/M16 where M16 comes in and sweeps her off her feet and Wa2k can’t handle it in the slightest.
I also feel like there’s a decent case for Wa2k/Jill, where Wa2k saved Jill and when Jill tries to give thanks, Wa2k gets really flustered and tries to play it off like it was no big deal
nOTP: I don’t think I have one? I haven’t really seen a bad Wa2k ship
Random Headcanon: Wa2k is the subbiest sub/biggest gay disaster to ever be created in an IOP lab. When asked why anyone would make a helplessly gay combat android, Persica simply laughed before promptly removing the press from her office.
Unpopular Opinion: Apparently this is unpopular in some circles but I really do think that Wa2k is the beginner friendly SSR in the game and can work well in literally any team comp.
Song I associate with them: Hhhhhhhh
I also feel like she’d be into Halsey
Favorite picture of them:

Headcanon: Eirika’s Hopes and Dreams
This is based off of an ask I never got around to answering. We actually have something about this in canon, seen in one of her supports with Forde:
Tumblr media
Apologies for the screenshot, but I’m on mobile and that makes it difficult to quote text.
Compared to life in, say, Jugdral, Magvel seems pretty swell. Until 803, there’s virtually no international conflict beyond some implied Frelia-Carcino tensions. There’s evident economic inequality, but that’s to be expected in just about any setting, and there’s the possibility of social mobility as seen with Selena and the brothers Glen and Cormag. So where does that leave Eirika?
Minds much more clever than mine have observed the connection between “Renais” and “Renaissance,” with observations based on that period’s culture in relation to Magvel. Maybe Eirika will support the work of surviving shamans (though not without internal conflict, as hinted in her dynamic with Henry). Perhaps a certain red-wearing artist could influence a few trends. However, I’ve thought more about the impact Eirika could have on social welfare.
I have been meaning to review supports for evidence in terms of whether or not to education is widespread in Magvel, but I haven’t, so we’ll just assume that Eirika will work toward this either way. She’d also work to protect children from circumstances like Tethys and Ewan (abandonment) and Marisa (whose father was misguided at best). There’s something to be considered when it comes to making a female character’s goals tie into children, but it makes me smile to think about Eirika’s devotion to “her” kids.

16, 3, and 5!
+*. multimuse ask game.
16: who’s your default muse for new interactions?
my strategy for this is usually based on whatever the other person’s muse is! i have a default for each continent you could say:
valentia - berkut
jugdral - leif or lene
elibe - raigh
magvel - amelia
awakening - stahl
fates - silas ( tho i’ll admit i kinda wanna push hayato more to the front )
fódlan - caspar
if it’s someone telling me i can use ANY muse tho… that’s when i love spinning out RNG. randomized interactions i know have a tendency to die but i live for unexpected combinations especially with the magic of heroes verse!
3: is there a muse you never write, but want to write more?
yknow what i already answered this BUT i think it lends itself to being asked again with a different answer! so this time i’m gonna say i’d like to write marc!!
Tumblr media
she’s one of my headcanon-based tacticians from fe7, and i think the tacticians in general in fire emblem just have really fun social positions. but i also get that she’s kinda like almost an oc for me so i feel Uncertain pushing her out there, and the elibe community is very, very tiny in terms of indie rp… so F…..
5: what are your criteria for adding new muses?
answered here!
