Remember the DCLA non-canon ships tournament?

I went crazy and now I'm doing a

DCLA CANON SHIPS TOURNAMENT

It was very hard to pull this off let me tell you. First off, I had to put the most popular ships far from each other, so all of them could have a shot. Plus, the rival ships also could not be too close, as I wanted them to have a chance too.

There was also many ships I had to remove. There is 64 ships, and yet, some would not fit. I couldn't include them all, and if there's a ship you feel is missing, I am sorry.

I tried to pair everyone up with a similar ship that wasn't TOO much of a rival, but for some, there was no ship to match them with, so I just matched them with each other.

Now, already now, you'd think to yourself "ha! There's certainly a very clear winner here!". Yeah, it's fun, we all think we'll know who will win this. But if you followed the non-canon ships tournament, I think we couldn't predict the winner. At least I couldn't! Sure, they are a liked ship, but not the one you'd see as the most popular! People can surprise you a lot! And the best part is, voting is anonymous, so you'll never know who voted for the ship you thought no one would vote for ;)

As per usual, you have 24 hours to vote, cause honestly we're so few in the fandom we don't need more. But if you want a one-week voting, do tell me!

And, if there's any ship name you're unsure what they mean, do ask me! I know for example Jico and Jicolas look similar, but Jico is for Jim/Nico and Jicolas is for Jade/Nicolas.

The Internet – Museums are closed. School is cancelled. The world is shut off and we’re stuck indoors. All the bread has been sold and Twitter has lost its mind. Fox News is killing off its own demographic. While everything is cancelled, why not have a show?

In spite of everything, Silicon Valet is pleased to present Well Now WTF?, an online exhibition curated by Faith Holland, Lorna Mills, and Wade Wallerstein with web design by Kelani Nichole. Featuring over 90 artists with moving image practices, the show will open April 4, 2020 from 5 to 10 pm EST and run indefinitely.

With everything going on, we ask ourselves: Well Now WTF? We have no answer, but we do know how to make GIFs. We can come together and use the creative tools at our disposal to build a space for release outside of anxiety-inducing news cycles and banal social media feeds.

As co-curator Lorna Mills suggests, “Why masturbate alone, when we can all be wankers together?”

Well Now WTF? is as much an art show as a community gathering. Beginning with the opening on April 4 and throughout the exhibition, we will hold online events on the site itself and via Twitch where people can gather and talk as they would normally for a physical exhibition.

The exhibition will also be accompanied by essays by Wade Wallerstein and Seth Watter.

Well Now WTF? will be available online at wellnow.wtf. Join us for the opening party on April 4 via the embedded chatroom.The exhibition will be free and open to the public, with a $5 suggested, pay-what-you-wish entry that gets redistributed to the artists contributing work.

Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey Takes Oath As Chief Justice Of J&K and Ladakh

Srinagar, Oct 12 Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday administered the oath of office to Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey as Chief Justice of High Court of J&K and Ladakh here.

Sources told that sitting judges and some retired judges of the High Court, judicial officers, Advocate General, lawyers and other dignitaries from civil and police department participated in the ceremony.

Justice Magrey, who was born on December 8, 1960, in Wattoo village of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, is the 35th Chief Justice of the High Court. Chief Justice Magrey received school education in his native village and did his graduation and LLB (Honours) from the University of Kashmir.

He was enrolled as an advocate in the year 1984 and started practicing law in the district courts including revenue courts and tribunals.
