an absolutely SAGA of a story, a must-read. though it's a genfic it DOES have some background ships like asukure, and features TEENIE TINNYYY allusions to ships like kakarin, obikaka and obirin. some top-tier whump, nauseating, will have you reading through your fingers at times, i honestly cannot recommend this fic enough!

Not the Picture That Comes with the Frame || M || 38k Summary: A few months into their marriage, life throws TK and Carlos a curveball in the form of a stalker. Carlos decides to do the only thing he knows how to: he's going to protect his husband, no matter what it takes. This was written for the Tarlos Haven fic exchange! Read if you like whump, hurt!TK and protective Carlos.

Partners || T || 5.8k Carlos and Sam get ambushed. Carlos shares some things he probably doesn't mean to, but he'll blame the bullet wound to his thigh. Sam & Carlos team up! Also some whump and angst.

The Last Time || G || 1.9k Carlos and TK have a late-night talk after the events of 5x03. Coda. Angst and comfort. Tarlos working on their issues!

you can breathe now || T || 1.7K "This is Officer Garcia with Texas Border Patrol. Ranger Reyes asked me to call and let you know he's been shot—" and TK's knees nearly crumble right then and there— "and to tell you he's being airlifted to St. David's." aka the hospital scene we should have gotten in 5x09. Lots of angst!

and my magnum opus that is in the middle of being published:

Kindred Spirit || E || 61k and rising Sir Carlos Reyes is at a rocky point in his life—engaged to be married to a woman he can't love, living in a house with a family that has never felt more distant. A several-months-long quest from the king is exactly what he needs to sort out his head and get used to the fact that his life isn't turning out how he wants. If it means babysitting a spoiled prince, than Carlos will just have to deal with that.

Prince TK is at a loss. After suffering an accident at his own hands that has severely weakened his magic, the only thing he desires is to be left alone. Unfortunately, his father is dragging him across the kingdom on a goodwill tour. To top it all off, he's been assigned a personal guard who is insanely hot and infuriatingly annoying.

Maybe what they both need is right in front of them.

4. What fandoms do you write for? I have written for A LOT over 20 years. Fandoms that I have CURRENT ideas/WIPs for are MCU, Linked Universe, Outer Banks

5. Do you respond to comments? Yes, usually! Big fan.

6. Angstiest Ending? hmmm. Maybe A prey for worms (Linked Universe) or Thousand Eyes (MCU-CA:TWS). Also see: Everything I wrote while at uni lol

7. Fic with the Happiest Ending? Op. 9, No. 2 where writing a happy ending was literally the challenge.

16. Writing strengths? I think I am concise in an effective way.

17. Writing Weaknesses? Romance. heheh see the ship question. Plotting and pacing, too, because I've no idea how the technical bits of building a story work. And writing to prompts.

18. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue? Sure, as long as it serves a purpose and the meaning is made clear to the reader without having to do something annoying to decode it.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Literally cannot remember. Something unhinged on Quizilla that I probably wasn't old enough to be engaging with. I was 9 or 10 when I realised the stories I was writing (by hand!!!!) were called fanfiction. If non-fic, I've been writing for the general WWII military fiction "fandom" forEVER.

20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written? My darling, my baby, my magnum opus: The Argonauts (MCU - CA:TFA). She's still a WIP tho. Favourite completed fic is Pieces of You Stuck on Me (LU). I'm happy with that one. Was exactly what I planned from the beginning.

Sooo idk what you've watched already so I'm just gonna name a few...

Let's start with Hudson and Rex. I posted a lot of gifsets about this series so I guess you now it but it's satisfying to watch the whump again, drowning, burried alive, drugged...there's a lot going on

Peaky Blinders😍 Tommy goes so much physical and psychological. Also got a few gifsets. Just check out my Masterlists there's everything linked😉

My absolute favorite whump series right now is Tatort Saarbrücken. It's a german series. The latest episode ends with one of the lead characters (Leo) unresponsive after a explosion.

Also the story between the two lead characters (Leo and Adam) is filled with trauma. There are 6 episodes. Alot of emotional whump mixed with physical whump.

There's a series called Into the Night. The sun is deadly so there are a few people that fly through the darkness. They need to find food and water to drink, the sun destroys everything. They fight about the food. It's very thrilling who will hurt who hehe. I watched it on Netflix, which I don't use anymore so idk if it's still on there.

Then let's move on to Fate: The Winx Saga

Sorry not Sorry hahaha. I loved Winx since I was a kid and then they did the live action. Magical things happen. Whumpy things.

Tapes and Face me

This one is a twofer, mostly because they’re connected. I’m very proud of tapes because I really wanted to capture that analog horror feel, mostly because my irl friend was really obsessed with the Mandela catalogue at the time. Face me was like my first huge foray into whump. My favorite part of this fic was Sylvia and Anya’s relationship, and the letters Anya wrote to her as “mission reports”.

Open eyes

I wish this one got more love and attention. It was a very weird character study I wrote where Twilight meets Loid Forger and Redacted, who are separate but also the same as him. It bounced off from @buf309’s doppelgänger comic, but sort of became its own thing, it even had some fanart that I’m too eepy to find rn, I’ll have to reblog it later.

Tastes like blood

an idea that was over a year in the making, where Yor gets to enact revenge on someone for (almost) killing her husband on their wedding night. This fic is so important to me because Maya Rowan, the would-be killer, was such a fun character to write. I love her so much. This fic did have a sequel that I have yet to finish unfortunately, but IT WILL BE DONE (at some point)

Clementine

your stock standard “Anya gets kidnapped by those gosh darn scientists” plot, based on my initial interpretation of the song “my darling Clementine”, where, in my mind, it was about a father who lost his daughter in the river, and he couldn’t swim, so he “lost his Clementine”. The “swim” here was meant to represent how twilight couldn’t deal with his own feelings for his daughter, so he lost her, but then he gets her back again, fighting tooth and nail to keep her safe. For those who don’t know, I am especially weak for father-daughter stories (my relationship with my dad is great dw) so this one his very close to my heart. The scene where Loid finally says “I love you” to Anya was inspired by Ai Hoshino’s death scene from Oshi no ko (which unfortunately ended very badly this year, spare yourself the trouble and just look up Ai’s death scene, that’s as peak as the story gets) and I was listening to the ost of her death scene while writing it. And my god does it just tear you up inside.

also his mom’s ghost saying “you’ve been holding her like that all along” still rips me to shreds okay?

what CANT I say about this fic? It’s, imo, my magnum opus. It was so goddamn cathartic to write it. If you’re going to read it, please, please mind the trigger warnings.

getting on with that, this fic is so important to me. It started out as a very angsty whump fic that somehow became a very personal look into a narrative about self harm and coming to terms with one’s existence. Really, if you’re in the right headspace, I would suggest you read it. BUT ONLY IF YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT HEADSPACE. it genuinely reflects a lot of the dark thoughts I’ve struggled with since my hospitalization when I was thirteen. I hope that, if I can find some catharsis in it, maybe you can too.

“Son,” the man took a step forward, a gentle smile that was rarely ever seen on his solemn face now splitting across his scarred features. “You don’t know how long I’ve waited for this day to come.”

Ryuji took an uncertain step back, his hand instinctively creeping towards his side, ready to unsheathe his swords and attack. He knew the thought was a bit overdramatic for such a simple greeting, words said so kindly, but Ryuji hadn’t been able to shake the violent itch ever since….

You killed him.

The greeting in itself was a surprise. He had never spoken with the quiet, sullen leader of the Magnum Octō before, the man always almost-silent during the meetings Ryuji forced himself to attend, quickly making his retreat before any of the others had even stood up. He wouldn’t have even thought to try and speak with him, he rarely liked to communicate with the others, if not for Aster. Always stubbornly dragging him along to mingle with “his colleagues”. Without him, Ryuji was quick to leave; they were all a waste of time—

And liked me better, ha.

Oh shut up. Ryuji thought. His eyes darted towards the faint mirage of his brother for a millisecond, shooting him a quick glare and effectively silencing him, before he turned back to the man, still smiling softly down at him. The point was, just like any day, he had been trying to make his escape back to the Seventh Sector, ready to go back to rotting inside Ophelia’s office, alone, besides for the voices of the haunted pricking against his skin, when Mr. Rahmani himself had cut through his path, asking him for just a moment of his time.

Mr. Rahmani now stood with his arms stretched open, welcoming — almost as if he was waiting for hug. A hug… from who? Surely it couldn’t be him. Why in the hell would he hug this complete stranger?

“How I’ve missed you, Ryuji.” Mr. Rahmani said, his voice wavering, almost a whisper. It was the most emotion he’d let poke through in years, or perhaps, forever.

Ryuji wished he hadn’t stopped.
