Depiction of The Ardent One, a god of centipedes, fire and artistry in a friend‘s setting

So, the Ardent One is the centipede god of magical technology, craftsmanship and art, blacksmithing especially and fire. I wanted to illustrate him for my girlfriends future Pc in the setting, Esophorous, who follows the god. The little human at the bottom of the illustration is him.

oooo i freaking love your au!! i think mine comes from the fact that Eon just straight up never tells spyro about his kind, and the way he reacts when he first meets cynder in the show is like “omg other dragons EXIST??” (although im just remembering flashwing was in the first episode so maybe not exactly like that but still)

i feel like because of that he never really had anyone to help him with dragon stuff like molts or flying or teach him dragon culture. there’s flashwing but they practically never interact and idk i feel like she’s a lot younger than him, so he probably feels super isolated.

then iirc (rewatching the show for the first time in a while but i am on ep one) when he finds out what happened to his species of dragon, he goes to Maelfor. So in my au when he meets Cynder, he’s less pushy about her becoming a skylander when he meets/finds out about Maelfor, and ends up going with them to learn more about dragon culture and whatnot, leading to him finding out about his species through Maelfor resulting in him resenting Eon for never telling him

Awe I love this!!! In my AU, Cynder is a MagicCrafter who - someday would like to be a Skylander like Spyro, and would enroll the semester after his (failed) Graduation.

I think Flashwings closer to his age, but shes' so self absorbed (much like himself) he struggled to connect with her. Altough, given the chance, I think he would 100% get along with her (High tier gossipers imo)

I have already written a half of my Rarepair Fest entry (it's gonna be ~8kW) and realised that this is the second time I am writing Morgana after Uther's money (an allusion to her canon desire for the kingdom? Idk), and it's the second time Mordred is into magiccraft books and stuff. The first was @twistedshipper 's Mordred from her fic Shop at the corner's end, and thanks to her, it seems so fitting: Mordred (a druid in canon) as a gateway for magic and knowledge Morgana doesn't wield yet.

Sayaka, PMMM Magiccraft

Originally I just wanted the hat which is why this is seperated the way it is. I'm not very good with patterns so I apologize if there are inaccuracies.

Hat: a dark blue hat with a tilted pattern of yellow circles in multiple rows. The circles have large blue diamonds of a lighter shade. The hat shape is similar to the top of a heart amd has a light pink trim tying off as a bow in the back.

Outfit: a white long sleeves sailor uniform top with a pink knotted ribbon. The sleeves are puffed at the shoulders and down the front of the torso are two sets of buttons; the collar is blue.

The high waisted skirt is the same blue as the collar and has a dark teal bow in the back with long ribbon ends extending past the skirt length and stopping at the knee. Along the edge of the skirt is a pattern of small fans with the striped colors of orange red and teal.

The shoes are simple brown loafers.
