Magical Mascots that behave as service/therapy animal for their traumatized or disabled owners;

Magical Mascots that are part of the henshin item;

Magical Mascots that are unusual animals (raccoon, chameleon, pig, pangolin, etc...);

(as an addendum to the previous one) Magical Mascots that are mythological creatures (unicorn, pheonix, chimera, a random yokai, etc...);

Magical Mascots that are humanoid creatures, like a fairy or a gnome;

Magical Mascots that are brought to life by their owners à la Magic Mixies;

Magical Mascots that don't do anything but are still kept around because they're so charming, like Kururun;

Magical Mascots that upgrade themselves into Magical Girls because no human would accept their offer in fear of getting into a Madoka situation;

Magical Mascots that fight alongside the Magical Girl;

(as an addendum to the previous one) Magical Mascots that can shapeshift into fierce beasts in battle à la Digimon.

I think a lot about Leo’s tendency to push his way into the spotlight despite clearly being a natural in the shadows. Hell, you could argue that his worst moments are when he’s forcing himself onstage, and his best are when he does things no one notices until it’s already been done.
