In terms of theming, Magical Fairy Pelsia has to be the weakest out of all the 80s Pierrot magical girls.

Like, I get the impression they were just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks without stopping to ponder whether these things work together. It just seems so random.

I'm not saying Pelsia is bad, by the way. I love all of the 80s Pierrot magical girls. But her theming suffers from excessiveness and not being cohesive.

Seiyuu: Miina Tominaga (1984-1987)

Lively and sweet, 11 year old Persia Hayami is sent to live in Japan to Minato-machi after living in Africa her entire life. On her way there she is tasked with restoring love energy by The Fairy Queen for a land called the "Lovely Dream." She is given a magical headband that can project a wand, serving as a bridge between Lovely Dream and Earth... and can also become a beautiful 18 year old girl with the magical incantation "perukko raburin kurukuru rinkuru." While fulfilling her role to thaw Lovely Dream from being frozen forever, she must also deal with her feelings for older twins Gaku and Riki Muroi and question if either of them have feelings for her.

Hey I wanted to ask what your opinions are of the new free anime streaming service called RetroCrush? It specializes in older anime and they have Bubblegun Crisis and its spinoffs.

I’m just hearing about them! Seems pretty cool, I appreciate that there’s a site dedicated to specifically older school anime. I don’t think they allow for browser streaming yet? But the selection is decent. I’ve never watched Magical Fairy Pelsia in full before so I’d be eager to check that out.
