don’t you hate it when your civilization flees deep underground to escape the wither only to find yourselves trapped down there with something even worse. anyway surprise! i can still draw
#my art#minecraft#minecraft fanart#minecraft ancient cities#they named it the warden because they were its prisoners i will die on this hill#see fellas when i said i was brainrotting about ancient cities i meant like advanced stages of decay#Bad Syndrome: instead of a brain there is sculk#i'm still pondering additional designs for like guards/soldiers and redstone specialists etc#also yeah i was like ok time to design generic ancient city residents for outfit concepts#and bc i'm me they immediately became Characters and now it's a whole thing#their names are echo and felix and they hate each other <3#echo was actually a temple kid like felix growing up but he fled to the outer city due to irreconcilable differences w the sculk worshippers#felix keeps trying to convince him to come back bc he was one of their most talented alchemists#they don't quite have echo's talent for magic but they make up for it in charisma and violent tendencies#neither of which have yet proved effective in convincing echo to come work for them#these days he mostly dedicates his potion skills to making life a bit more bearable for outer city residents#he got the nickname 'echo' due to his knack for inducing realistic auditory hallucinations of dead loved ones#...i TOLD you it turned into a whole thing#i also have a pet theory that ancient cities invented skeleton horses bc they needed horses but also leather and meat#but that's mostly bc i think the phrase 'have your horse and eat it too' is rly funny

"Marcille is blaspheming the Almighty Christian God with her evil Black Magic!" there is zero mention of any gods in Dungeon Meshi, everyone who expresses shock at her actions never brings up religion as a reason for why her actions are unethical.
Marcille is a mad scientist committing medical malpractice in a desperate attempt to save her lover. She's grafting dragon meat onto Falin's skeleton which turned her into an unbalanced chimera hybrid with a mouth too small to feed its body. She rapid-heals her friends without anesthetic and later admits healing magic has been used in torture techniques.
Marcille is a mad scientist. She's a gay Dr. Frankenstein. She's like if Gregory House were Italian.

Dungeon Meshi - "Dungeon Meals" from volumes 1 to 4
More info under the cut
Decided to compile the dungeon meals anyway. These are from chapter 1 to 28 (Volumes 1 to 4)
There were a total of 24 "meals" (counting the special panels) in the 28 chapters. Meal is anything that gets the named panel, so kelpie soap giant frog suit and Falin skeleton count (cause that's funny). I'm using EHScans pages because they have a better resolution usually (and for consistency)
Anyway here's the meals of each chapter and who made them.
Chapter 1 - Hot pot Meal: Huge Scorpion and Walking Mushroom Hot Pot Cooked by: Mostly Senshi but Laios started it.
Chapter 2 - Tart Meal: Man-Eating Plant Tart Cooked by: Senshi
Chapter 3 - Roast Basilisk Meal: Roast Basilisk Cooked by: Senshi
Chapter 4 - Omelet Meal: Mandrake & Basilisk Omelet Cooked by: Senshi
Chapter 5 - Kakiage Meal: Mandrake Kakiage & Giant Bat Tempura Cooked by: Senshi and Chilchuck
Chapter 7 - Living Armor II Meal: Living Armor Full Course Meal, consisting of: Dwarf-Style Stir Fry, Steamed Living Armor, Living Armor Soup and Grilled Living Armor Cooked by: Senshi (Others helped with prepping)
Chapter 8 - Simmered Cabbage Meal: Vegetable Lunch, Fresh off the Golem Fields, consisting of: Simmered Whole Cabbage and Turnip Salad. Cooked by: Senshi (Others helped with prepping)
Chapter 9 - Orcs Meal: Stolen Vegetables, Simmed Cabbage & Chicken with a side of Plundered Bread Cooked by: Senshi, Marcille, Laios, Chilchuck, Zon and other Orc Ladies
Chapter 10 - Snacks Meal: All Natural♡Delicious Treasure Bug Snacks, consisting of: Treasure Bug Nest Jam, Coin Bug Crackers and Pearl Centipede Skewers Cooked by: Senshi (Laios helped by.. watching)
Chapter 11 - Sorbet Meal 1: Deluxe♪Multicultural Holy Water Cooked by: Senshi Meal 2: Protective Ward! Spirit Dispelling Sorbet Cooked by: Senshi and Laios
Chapter 12 - Palace Cuisine Meal: Palace Cuisine Full Course Meal, consisting of: Sautéed Fish with Soybeans, Pumpkin Soup, Fruit, Golden Wheat Bread, Golden cow Cheese and Roast Duck Cooked by: Palace Cooks? Painter? Magic?
Chapter 13 - Boiled in Salt Water Meal: Boiled Mimic Cooked by: Senshi
Chapter 14 - Kelpie "Meal": Kelpie Tallow Soap Cooked by: Marcille
Chapter 15 - Porridge Meal: Zosui Made from Dropped Barley Cooked by: Laios
Chapter 16 - Broiled with Sauce Meal: Giant Parasite from Giant Kraken: Grilled Plain and Kabayaki Style Cooked by: Senshi (Laios Helped with prepping the skewers and ate one raw and suffered)
Chapter 18 - Grilled Meat Meal: Grilled Kelpie Cooked by: Senshi
Chapter 19 - Tentacles "Meal": Tentacles With Vinegar Dressing Cooked by: Namari (with Laios instructions)
Chapter 20 - Stew Meal: Tentacle & Kelpie Stewed in an Undine Cooked by: Marcille (With Senshi's help)
Chapter 21 - Giant Frogs Meal 1: Tentacle Gnocchi Cooked by: Senshi Meal 2: Frog Suit Cooked by: Laios and Chilchuck
Chapter 23 - Red Dragon I Meal: Let's Cutlet the Dragon to Pieces! Cooked by: Senshi
Chapter 27 - Red Dragon V "Meal": Falin & Warg Skelletons Cooked by: Laios & Marcille (Red Dragon helped clean up the bones really well)
Chapter 28 - Red Dragon VI Meals: Roast Red Dragon, Pizza Bread with Onions and Dragontail Soup Cooked by: Senshi
The chapters that had no "meal is done" panel were chapters
6 - Living Armor I
17 - Raspberries
22 - Above Ground
24 - Red Dragon II
25 - Red Dragon III
26 - Red Dragon IV
Mostly the multipart chapters, there was food eaten in 17 and 22 but no special panel for them, 17 is the titular raspberries and 22 the barmaids serve them a meal they eat right at the end
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The chapter with more than one "meal" panels (not more than one meal prepared just more than one special panel for the meals) were:
11 - Sorbet with Holy Water and Sorbet
21 - Giant Frog with Gnocchi and Frog Suit
And the party stats are:
Senshi: 17 meals cooked, all of them food
Chilchuck: 3 "meals" cooked, 2 of them were food, 1 of them was a Frog Suit
Marcille: 4 "meals" cooked, 2 of them were food, 1 of them was soap and 1 of them was Falin skeleton reconstruction. She made the soap by herself and the stew mostly by herself
Laios: 5 "meals" cooked , 3 of them were food, 1 of them was a frog suit and 1 was Falin skeleton reconstruction. He also helped with 4 other meals (kinda) and 1 of them he made by himself (The zosui)
Out of the 24 meals in these 4 volumes, 21 were food and 3 were "other"
Out the 21 food meals Senshi made 17 of them, Laios made 1 Marcille made 1 and the other 2 was Namari and Living Painting Cooks.
I often get confused with numbers so if I said anything wrong feel free to correct me! Might do less volumes for the next post we'll see

Dust
Species/Figure: Ophiotaurus
Pronouns: he/it/they
Danger: Formidable (4/6)
Power: Strong (3/6)
Magic: Decent (2/6)
Height: 5’9”/170 cm
Abilities: Venomous fangs, constricting grip, tail can switch from skeleton to normal snake tail, power of prophecy
Diet: Omnivore, preference of meat.
Personality: Cold, quiet, observant, and sharply intelligent.
Story: As the legends go, slaying and burning an Ophiotaurus will grant you the divine gift of prophecy. As such, the species is rare and hunted near to extinction, often being on the run for their entire lives. Dust and his brother, Barren, had grown up on the edges of society in a desperate attempt to evade capture— though they could only run for so long. Geno, led by Reaper, captured the two and mortally wounded Barren in preparation of the sacrifice. Dust, enraged, broke its restraints and killed his brother to prevent Geno from gaining the divine gift, goring Geno in the eye and wing in the process. They then fled, leaving his brother’s body with Reaper and Geno, which they buried instead of burned. As such, Dust only gained a half-piece of prophecy, hints and flashes of the future, but no more. Haunted by its actions, they wander the desert in search of the two monsters who wronged him— at least until they catch sight of Cross, whom a fascinating shard of prophecy compelled Dust to follow. He now lurks behind Cross and Killer, close enough that they know someone’s there, but far enough that they don’t know who…or what.

So. Mechanics for this game I'm working on.
Start with a roughly OSR-shaped set of expectations. Classes, levels, XP-for-treasure, hit dice, etc. That gives you a good skeleton for what's here. There's some key differences.
Tumblr media
HP is divided into Flesh and Grit. Flesh is your meat points, Grit your not-getting-hit points. Lose Grit first, then flesh. Then when there's no flesh left, take horrible wounds that might disable or kill you.
On death, you have the chance to come back as Undead. Take a level of Creeping Damnation, and switch your nature out to being undead. So long as body and soul are more or less intact, death is a choice to let go, not automatic. It has costs, though - that Damnation.
Speaking Of, Damnation. Creeping Damnation accumulates point-by-point as your soul is eroded. Each point reduces your Grit by 1. Extremely bad news when you've got no Grit left.
The Plague is a thing. It's extremely bad news. Reduce your healing each night (losing HP rather than gaining if its too bad), and your lost HP counts towards your encumbrance. Don't catch the plague, dumbass.
There's a system to track your reputation with various factions in the world. There's a system to track how much of a bounty the Beast's Empire have put on your head. These can fuck you over if you let them get too bad.
You get XP for rescuing people and for killing named, hated enemies. You get XP for treasure, and claiming bounties for capturing/rescuing people.
It's expected that you'll start hiring followers - mercenaries and servants - to accompany you and work for you. What else are you gonna do with all that cash? Long-term, you'll probably invest in building a stronghold somewhere. There's mechanics for pitched battles, for when those soldiers you've hired have to defend that stronghold.
True Names are a thing. Knowing somebody's True Name gives you power over them. In particular, a lot of magic requires the victim's True Name to work, or doesn't let them save to resist it if you use their True Name. You can also invoke it to make magically binding pacts with each other.
While only clerics can create observable miracles, anybody can try praying. A successful prayer does nothing in the game fiction, but can have useful results on the meta-game level, such as nudging random encounter results.
Magic comes in six schools of six spells - Necromancy (dead and undead things), Hypnotism (the mind), Goetia (true names and binding), Transmigration (the soul and the abyss), Alchemy (the elements and materials) and Hermeticism (raw magic and Wizard Shit). Other uncategorised spells are Hedge Magic.
A lot of mechanics - encumbrance, saving throws, shopping, memorising spells, encounters - are present but dramatically streamlined.
Technically it's race + class, but we're ditching the term 'race' and replacing it with 'nature'; it's about your spiritual nature (mortal, demon, undead, etc) rather than your ancestry. Twelve Natures (mortal human, petty demon, mimic, purified one, lycanthrope, ghoul, homunculus, wormwood grotesque, revenant, ghost, soulless waif, vampire). Eight classes (Cleric, Doctor, Knight, Libertine, Outlaw, Professional, Witch, Zealot). Mix and match and add equipment to create characters.
Anyway, I know visuals sell, so have some visuals.

Dungeon Meshi Quick Reacts
CH.27 (Red Dragon)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Simpler times....... or were they?
Tumblr media
ah, so it's harder with just the bones. That explains the reacts but... yeah, they were doomed from the start, in that case.
Tumblr media
They don't have DNA testing to confirm what's hers and what isn't. How are they going to make sure they don't pull a Full Metal Alchemist with this resurrection?
Tumblr media
I'm sure this won't go wrong at all.
And now they're planning to get a person down there? After it took them... weeks???? to come and find this dragon and get these remains? I love them, but this plan is mad. Who would even attempt it? Would they even have the money for it?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chillchuck went "you aren't even a Necromancer" and Marcille raised him a "no, I'm something much worse."
Love this girl. Love the determination.
Tumblr media
Oh, she's 'I broke the world for us' levels of in love with Falin. Got it. I'm in.
Tumblr media
At the beginning of the manga, you think 'oh wow Senshi is a little weird.' and then you think 'oh, Laios is a little weird too. That's why they get along.' But now I'm beginning to realize Marcille is a card carrying member of the Obsessed With Stuff freakshow, and that's why she's here. She pretended to be normal the whole time, but she's just as far gone in the rabbit hole as the rest of them.
Chillchuck, buddy, you're on thin ice.
Tumblr media
Guys, assemble the skeletons FIRST and THEN draw the evil magic circle. You're going to smear the runes! smh....
Tumblr media
look at her go! She screams about eating a mushroom with a face in chapter 1, but here she is, assembling a digested skeleton of her beloved with minimal issues.
Tumblr media
.............K-Kui san... did you... did you want to go to med school by chance...?
Tumblr media
the recipe card...... I'm fuckin dead..... bonus doggies.
Tumblr media
I've seen this panel in so many screencaps, but knowing its context makes it 2000% sexier.
Tumblr media
this is............reverse cooking..........................
Tumblr media
OH??????
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is.......significantly less horrific than what I was prepared for.
Something still feels off but. You DID bring her back using fuckin dragon meat so. I guess. You can't exactly be born the same way twice.
Tumblr media
How heartwarming! This wizard brought her beloved back from the dead using illegal magic! It just warms your heart.
Tumblr media
Is it cannibalism to eat something you were recently made from...?

Adding Spiritual Elements to TOTK/BOTW Gameplay
Sadly, despite being a pretty religion focused game there is not a lot of options to actually show devotion. Here are a few ways I bond with the Hyrulean spirits while playing!
*Always crouch before praying at the altar. I generally crouch, pray, leave offerings in that order so I don't accidentally pick up offerings. It's a small show of respect!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Various offerings at Hylia statues|Silent Princess' on Zelda's pedestal
*Leave offerings at goddess statues. Once you max out your hearts and stamina the statues don't get as much attention. Other great offering locations: Satori Mountain, The Leviathan Skeletons/Dark Skeletons, Temple of Time ground +Sky
*Cleanse yourself in springs, pools found in shrines, also great fairy pools. The Sacred Springs are a top choice but I also go to the depths at the Secret Spring of Revival. This can be a little bit more eloquently done in totk than botw, but jumping in none the less is good enough.
*Clothing is important! Hyrule is known for incredible fashion and lots of symbolism in their clothing. be intentional with the ingredients you use to dye your outfits. I dye my white outfits for the depths with silent princess to purify the clothes and to protect me in the depths (not an actual buff). I dye my sheikah outfit purple with muddlebuds to magically imbue their confusing properties with my sneaky outfit. etc I like to match the vibes of where I'm going with my outfits.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Red hair for Dinraal, Purple for Sheikah/Hylia, White for Nadyra/Satori combo
*Disarm in public spaces. It makes it a bit more authentic feeling when you aren't sitting in the middle of town strapped to the teeth. I usually only keep my bow equipped.
*Have some areas be no hunting zones such as forests around the Temples of Time or other sacred areas. Or do the opposite and pick specific sites for animal or monster sacrifice
*Spend time with the dragons. In botw you can leave offerings at their spawn sites, make pilgrimages to see them come up and go down. in totk you can ride on them and use that as bonding time. It's a good time to meditate and listen to the music. When I am farming for dragon parts or need a dragon to appear, I usually go to their spring and leave an offering.
Tumblr media
Me needing Naydra fangs for armor
*Feed the animals! horses, sheep, goats, dogs, even stalhorse will eat apples or meat if you hold or drop the food. Dondons as well can be fed luminous stones, which are known to have connection to spirits.
*Use Shrine cutscenes as moment to recenter and meditate for a moment (aka don't skip the cutscene). I usually skip the cutscenes but sometimes I use the moments to realign myself especially if the shrine was really frustrating.
*Make your house into a shrine! With the gallery options you are able to post pictures on the wall. Usually I have pictures of the dragons or goddess statues, Sonia's grave, or geoglyphs. And you can change it anytime!

trying to coherently write out my thoughts on monstrosity in the locked tomb unexpectedly led me down a rabbit hole where i've discovered that ianthe tridentarius is the most horrifically tragic literary version of a vampire in existence. more below
Ianthe is kind of a perfect vampire. She “fucking ate Babs” in order to ascend to Lyctorhood, which is a holy position in the setting of the series, but because the whole thing relies so heavily on dramatic irony, the reader is aware that Lyctorhood is a form of monstrosity in itself. while she is a Lyctor, her form becomes more monstrous (her golden skeleton arm), she becomes immortal and gains enhanced magical death-based powers from literally feeding off of a stolen soul.
And the vampires-as-consuming-horror feature blends with the series’ recurring idea that love is an act of consumption. The Unwanted Guest is a perfect microcosm of that: Ianthe is trying to convince Palamedes (and herself) that Naberius is truly and completely dead, when in reality, his soul and hers are permeable, and her act of eating his flesh—an act that her twin sister is jealous of despite the fact that Ianthe loves her too much to kill her—has, in biological fashion, made him an inseparable part of her. She has his memories. She has his opinions on duelling.
Just as meat gives the body protein, as blood continually nourishes the vampire, Naberius gave Ianthe part of himself that she will never be rid of. If Ianthe had consumed Coronabeth, she would have at least spent eternity with the person she loves most in the world. but in believing she outsmarted the system, she became its most unfortunate victim.
Corona is mortal. Corona will age and die and Ianthe will become more and more like Naberius, losing more and more of herself to him, and Corona will never know either of them as themselves again. can you imagine. can you imagine how wretched the Tridentarii must feel?
they've been a single unit since birth. their parents defied cultural naming conventions for the specific purpose of making them into a single unit. Ianthe looks like Corona's shadow and Corona looks like Ianthe if she wasn't vitamin D deficient. can you imagine the horror of watching a part of yourself slowly wither and eventually die because you loved her too much to eat her? can you imagine the horror of your own shadow becoming someone else's, so slowly that neither of you could notice until you couldn't recognize each other anymore?
Ianthe and Harrow have one thing in common and that is loving someone too much to consume them, and paying the price. Corona and Gideon have one thing in common and that is being desperate to be consumed by the person they love the most.
Ianthe is horrible and the Lyctors are horrible because John Gaius is horrible. but the series does such a good job of showcasing what is horrible to them. the horror of god is that he's just some fucking guy. the horror of ianthe is that she's a vampire who ate the wrong person. i am spiritually biting and gnawing on these books.

Hi, may I get UT, Uf, US, ink, and error sans headcanons reacting to walking into their crushes room and seeing a print out x-ray from the doctor of their crushes bones ( you can decide whatever part of the body it is) but how would they react seeing it, since they are made of bones?
Undertale Sans - He winces. That's a bad broken leg. He got one when he was little, but wasn't lucky enough to have your meat blanket to not see it. He wishes he had skin sometimes...
Underswap Sans - He thought you took a picture of him naked at first before getting confused and horrified because these are not his bones??? Are you cheating on him? When he comes to you in a hurry and you just burst in laughter, he's confused and a bit offended. Well he didn't know you were part skeleton, it's not that funny!
Underfell Sans - He's a bit nervous, thinking Edge broke something again and didn't say everything. Though those are weird-looking bones and he's not sure why they're this strange-looking. He comes to you to share his worries about his brother maybe having a broken pelvis when you suddenly blushed furiously. Red is confused at first, before realizing it's not Edge. That's your pelvis he's showing you for ten minutes. Oh no. Red teleports out of here, the face completely red.
Ink - Oh, he sees it for like two seconds, then he saws that pretty dress in your wardrobe and completely forgets about it to go wear the dress because his ADHD told him he needs to wear the dress NOW, it's a question of life or death.
Error - Humans will never cease to be weird to him. Why would you have a skeleton but no magic? That's so stupid. What's even the point of having bones if you don't have the magic to heal them when they break like that? All skeletons know how to fix their broken bones when they're kids.

cant stop thinking about danny fenton DST mod. sketchdump time
mod concept/rambling under the cut:
Danny Fenton
The Half-Ghost
Favorite food: Veggie Burger (despite the name, this is actually considered a meat item. both sam and tucker would be willing to eat this!)
200 Health | 175 Hunger | 120 Sanity
PERKS:
Is a ghost... sometimes [neutral to ghosts, innate cold resist, human + ghost form]
Human food only feeds half of him [.5x stat gain from food + need for ectoplasm]
Has obsessions to fulfill [increased attack/defense when allies are nearby, decreased stats when no allies, loses sanity/other consequence if allies die]
Has a deadly weakness to electricity [increased damage+sanity loss from lightning, electric damage] ...also damaged by proximity to evil flowers, but this will apply to ALL ghosts, not just danny
ABILITIES:
Transforms into his ghost half by alt-clicking himself.
can fly over/walk through obstacles (ignores collision)
increased damage/defense & increased hunger drain, constant sanity drain
ghost-like sanity drain aura (applies to nearby players except Wendy)
is a "monster" (attacked by pigmen, bunnymen, catcoons, etc)
takes more damage from electricity + evil flowers than his human form. (maybe also increased damage from magic/shadows/planar attacks?)
Cannot talk in ghost form. Uses incomprehensible language instead (either "OooOOOoo" like DST ghosts or made up ghostspeak)
Can shoot ectoblasts by alt-clicking enemies. Costs hunger per use. Usable in both forms, but deals more damage in ghost form.
maybe has a small chance to freeze enemies, with increased chance in winter?
If Danny dies, he leaves his human corpse behind (instead of a skeleton) and is stuck in ghost mode.
Permanently insane, -90% max HP. Corpse needs to be revived with a telltale heart [or some other item] (revives with no health penalty).
If killed again, corpse is replaced with a skeleton and danny becomes a "normal" DST ghost. When reviving using vanilla methods, has a bigger health penalty + sanity loss.
ITEMS/MOBS:
ECTOPLASM. Periodically spawned by ghosts & pipspooks. Chance drop on a ghost's death.
Danny needs to eat ectoplasm regularly or he gradually gets weaker [or some other consequence here].
Can be given to ghosts to make them temporary allies [Danny only]
DOG TOY. Temporarily spawns CUJO.
limited "loyalty" (spawn time) but can be fed ectoplasm to keep him around longer
immortal/can't be killed, loses loyalty instead
can walk on water (ignores collision)
"gets big" whenever danny is attacked. will attack all nearby mobs (even if not aggressive) for a certain amount of time before shrinking again
BLOB GHOSTS. passive mob/won't attack.
either spawn near headstones or around ectoplasm left on the ground
“prey” animals like rabbits (will run away from scary creatures & players, excluding danny/other ghosts)
automatically start following danny whenever he's near + grant him small sanity gain
will periodically spawn ectoplasm on the ground (higher rate than regular ghosts) OR passively restore danny’s ectoplasm meter based on proximity
ectoplasm is guaranteed drop on death (but why would you kill them you monster 🙁🙁🙁🙁)
despawns after a couple days
other potential items/perks:
ectoplasm tracker- points towards ectoplasm/ectoplasm sources on the map. or maybe cujo can track it instead?
fenton thermos- holds ectoplasm and/or ghosts in storage slots?
Other things I'm less certain on:
if ghost form has higher hunger drain, should it also drain the ectoplasm meter faster?
want something to imply that ghosts are emotional creatures/danny's strength is tied to his emotions somehow, but "growing weaker/stronger at low sanity" is an overused perk. maybe he takes increased damage at low sanity?
maybe some other protection based perks idk
maybe his human form should be weaker than average, to encourage gathering/etc in human form, and combat in ghost form?
ok its that it byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Fave Mortal Kombat fatality?
Off the top of my head for MK11 fatalities in no particular order:
Mileena's Violent Delights: Where Mileena rips off her opponent's face through their stomachs. Something about it just fits Mileena as if she's saying, "If I can't have a face like yours, then I'll TAKE it myself!".
Shang Tsung's Condemned the Damned & Shokan Reborn: The first is where Shang Tsung chains an opponent mid-air before summoning a portal where out pops the zombie versions of his followers. Who then proceeds to tear into the opponent's underbelly until ultimately ripping off their face and TEARING out their skeleton! The second one is where Shang Tsung summons an orb of bright light (striking a sexy pose) before tossing it into the opponent's chest. When it hits them, their entire chest lights green before Kintaro (A kitty cat Shokan) tears his way out of the opponent like they're a cramped meat suit!
Spawn's Rest in Pieces & Unchained: These fatalities are straight out of Todd McFarlane's Spawn Comics. The first has Spawn using his cape to cover the victim's head before lifting them in the air by said head. Spawn then uses his chains to penetrate the opponent in multiple places but cannot see or brace for where the next chain will make its mark. The opponent can finally see their demise when Spawn lights the chains up with Necroplasm and tears the opponents in ALL directions. The second one has Spawn sending his chains into the ground to appear under his opponent and start wrapping around them before they spin around with enough force to peel their entire skin (save for their head) from their body like a meaty potato. Then, as the opponent falls back to the ground and tries to process all the sensations that now come with having most of their skin ripped off, Spawn engulfs them with his cape. We don't see what he does within that cape, only the end result. Which tears all the flesh and organs from their bones in a gloriously grotesque fashion!
Now for MK1 at the time of this post:
Baraka's Grilling with the Boys: Baraka disembowels his opponent before launching them in the air, then lights a fire on the ground. That's followed by him grabbing the end of their intestine to hang off some invisible support to suspend them over the fire! As if that's not bad enough, Baraka then calls in his fellow Tarkatans to rip off all the opponent's limbs while they're still being roasted alive and eating them! Their opponent is still alive and screaming in pain!
Ermac's Soul Snack: Ermac uses magic to push his opponent's soul out of their body before separating their torso and legs because he's not hungry for flesh. No, because he's so eager for his snack, Ermac unhinges his jaw like SCP-096 (The Shy Guy) to suck the person's soul. That person's soul could only fall to the ground and try to grip the material plane to somehow escape a hungry ghoul. Yet, it does not matter as Ermac's soul hole is basically a black hole, and he ultimately gets his snack.
Gera's Timey Wimey: Geras summons a time portal to rip off the future opponent's head and spine, then uses it to SMASH the present opponent's jaw off. Geras then hands the head to the present opponent, who only now realizes that the head they're holding looks exactly like them. And just as they're realizing what their future holds, a now-past Geras opens up a time portal to tear the head of their opponent.

Round 2 Match 32
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda:
Jared J. Hopworth
He's spooky bone guy One of his aliases is literally "The Boneturner" He likes to take bones out of people's bodies and turn their bodies into flowers!
Also called The Boneturner. He read a book and magically acquired the very useful skill of removing people’s bones from their bodies. His voice sounds like he’s gargling stones (or bones, in this case).
- his alias is literally the boneturner -Has the power of boneturning, meaning he can remove people's bones without damaging their skin -He literally took out the main character's rib -his body is described as a large mass of limbs, meat and bones that constantly twist and change
Well he's the Boneturner. He literally got 'bone' in his title. He is a servant of The Flesh, which is an Entity ( eldritch fear god ) that feeds on the fear of meat. I know it sounds dumb said like this but its not the fear of your steak in your plate. Its the terrifying, crippling dread that you are nothing but a gross sack of meats, and bones. That you are nothing special, and that anybody could take that skin off your skeleton and eat it because you are fundamentally just food. It's more of an animalistic fear rather than a human one, and it's especially tied to slaughterhouses. His rapport to bones are multiple, the biggest being in episode 131, where he removes two of the main character's robs, keeping one for himself to use it.

Tapping both your Dunmeshi and MHA fan brain ideas: with BkDk, which one would reassemble the other's skeleton and fuse them with dragon meat and forbidden magic to bring them to life?
I can’t just chooseeee cause you know they’d both do it for each other. Uhhh maybe bakugou if only cause I like the thought of chimera deku

Airigo older designs!!!! Feat my headcanons for them :3
So many thoughts inside my head. They're in their late 20s here. I'll be rambling a lot under the cut :
Let's start with Hugo. I am still debating whether he bleaches his hair or not (he'd be dark blond-), so either his hair got darker over time or he bleaches it less often. He loses his arm after the 7k (it kickstarts that one sequel that only exists in my mind).
He is an engineer sponsored by the crown, and specialises in complexe and small mechanisms. His favorite prosthesis was built with that in mind which is why the fingers are thinner. He has other hands he can switch as it pleases.
Talking about prosthesis, he built it himself but the magic stones were Aiden's idea, the whole thing was an experiment to get the prosthetic to move more precisely and in sync with Hugo's mind. And it worked! The stone on the arm responds to the one on his collar.
He definetly "collected" various belongings from the others during 7k and Nuru's necklace was one of those objects and he still wears it often. Same for.. what remains- of the bandana tying his hair.
Also it's not too visible but he got some more meat now (he was practically a walking skeleton before)
Time for Varian!! His hair got curlier over the years and I headcanon he has vitiligo which is how he got his haistripe, he simply used to dye it blue with the help of his mom and kept on doing it after her death, until recently.
Appearance wise he just stopped caring- he is often too engrossed in his work and forget to be presentable all together. He puts more attention into wearing practical things.
He still is an engineer sponsored by the crown. But contrary to Hugo he is more into heavy machinery and does alchemy often enough. (The two engineers still do work together though)
I don't have much to add about him tbh, he's just overly cautious now until he forgets about it-
Aiden tiiiiiime! My dearest royal physician. As the head physician they get to go out less often and almost does more paperwork than actual practice.
They cut their hair because taking care of them was too much of a bother. Their new uniform doesn't bind their chest anymore. And they're finally comfortable using their mobility aids and showing off their prosthetic without restraints.
Refusing to end up as overworked as their old mentor, they are planning classes to educate more people in first aids and basic medicinal stuff, with the help of Laurel. They now get plenty of assistance and get to simply supervise rather than doing everything themself. (They still do care for the royal family as they take priority.)
FINALLY.
They are very cringe and overly in love people so of course they wear it with pride- Each of them got a pair of earings custom made from stones they chose themselves. Each representing one of their partner's eyes.
The braids are remains of their wedding look and they aren't planning on taking them out. Ever.
And the wedding bands were a last minute idea of Varian who was convinced he could make them himself, so he did. They just look horrendous. But the concept is so cute Hugo and Aiden loves them anyway.
