I made another dragon age oc hehe her name is Arianne Trevelyan, she’s not the inquisitor but she ends up being involved in the inquisition.

She’s the half sister of my canon inquisitor Maeve meaning that she is a half elf.

She’s a member of the city guard of Ostwick. Arianne wasn’t very happy about it when she first joined but it was either that or become a Templar so babygirl ran to join the city guard.

She’s a bit of a hard ass but she’s soft in the middle, you just have to work hard to get there. She has quite a bit of trauma which has made her this way.

canon characters keep souring names for me. I'd have an ameline trevelyan if it weren't for the existence of aveline. anyway I strongly want to consider the name maeve for a tabris but I'm not giving her the same name as loghain's accidental fake wife that's WEIRD :\

i just keep rambling about my planned worldstate for dav, but that's bcos i want to concoct the most cursed, toxic situation for poor morgan to be in. so, i want to have someone josiemancing in there, but my previous josiemancer was the og version of idris' half-sister erin, who unfortunately evolved into a meredith-lite zealous chantry fanatic templar and main antagonist in my fic... so i don't think josie would particularly appreciate her, and besides i don't want her to be the inquisitor either, no matter how unbearable the situation would be for morgan.

but well, good for me, i have a whole ass trevelyan family tree out there to pick from! perhaps instead of the planned marriage to cassandra idris' nephew rhys was actually planned to marry josie? (since i'm not really in need of making inquisitor!idris life worse by making those weird ass connection to pentaghasts). rhys and josie are even closer in age than rhys and cassandra, and i can see the logic that well, at least there's no pesky mages in the montilyet family! (unlike the pentaghasts).

so now the question is, what would be the more cursed if i have rhys actually die like in canon, then his sister maeve becoming the inquisitor and falling for her brother's promised bride or rhys actually surviving in this one but becoming a mage, being sent to the circle and then meeting josie again after the conclave. either way trevelyan family drama is reaching a boiling point. kinda leaning more towards the 2nd option just to have bann taliesin having a fit over getting yet another mage in his family, the scandal. also the spiderman pointing meme between idris and rhys. downside: i'll be sad that in main fic canon rhys died.

so morgan is formerly trevelyan, right. i imagine bcos he spent so much time in antiva he has mix of ostwick (irish) and antivan (spanish) accents. he introduces himself as morgan de riva these days, but if there's someone capable of noticing there's something wrong with his accent, it's josie. and she knows trevelyans, bcos of lucille's trevelyan's balls, and morgan looks really similar to his mother. that's so cursed, omfg. i think i need josiemancing inky in this worldstate, that would be so bad i need to do this. also it's not something morgan ever mentions so it would be literally first time the veilguard hearing his former name. morgan wonders if he could manage to murder her surreptitiously before she can spill the beans (he can't, she's a bard).
