you had just finished up your work day, an extra hour and a half added to your usual 12-hour day because of your damaging boss, you finally clock out and head to the parking lot to find your car. you were absolutely exhausted and the only thing you wanted was the go back to the comfort and safety of your home, and your wife.

ellie had her sleeve rolled up and wiped her brow with her arm as she finished preparing dinner for you. in the distance, ellie heard a car pull up right outside your guys' house, the stop of the engine, and the door of the car opening and shutting. ellie brought the pot on the stove to a lower heat to avoid burning down the house as she went up to greet you. she was decorated in an apron, top, and her usual skinny jeans. she walked, with anticipation, to the entrance of your guys' house. the key turned in it's knob and in you walked, tired and drained from your day full of work.

"hey babe," ellie's voice pouring out ease and immediately calming your stress and nerves. you muttered out a response, sleep heavy in your voice. ellie took your jacket off, massaging your sore back muscles for a slight second, and hung it on the rack. she grabbed your hand and pulled you into the kitchen. the two of you sat down and enjoyed the dinner she had crafted for the two of you, exchanging a few kisses and hugs while you both went up for seconds. the night was slow and romantic, simple tunes played from you record player as the two of you snuggled up on the couch and breathed the day away. you had missed ellie. and, ellie had missed you. a little too much. you were comfortably laying on the couch, arms wrapped each other, when all of a sudden you felt the dust of ellie's lips on you neck. you paid no attention to it, she was probably just trying to find a more comfortable position. then, a few minutes, later, it happened again. her lips gazed your neck, placing kisses along your jawline down to your collar bones.

"ellie..." you pleaded.

"cmon honey," ellie said, looking up into your eyes, "lets get to bed," she smirked and pulled you into your bedroom, a look of mischief and intent in her eyes, "i want to help you relax."

an: no because i love this request (ps so sorry but my smut writing abilities suck ass so it'll just...fade to black... and you can imagine the rest) i honestly struggled so hard to make housewife!ellie without making it like those disgusting male gaze yassifed ellies lmao

hii this is probably really dumb-ish cuz i know u can do anything with shifting but im still a bit scared,

so basically i am allergic to nuts, grass, trees, cats, and dogs and more in this reality (my CR), but i rlly wanna try boiled peanuts. If i script in my DR that i’m not allergic to anything, and like go around nuts/eat nuts or touch grass, will that make me have an allergic reaction in my CR?

hey! no question is dumb! because you’re not in your cr, only your subconscious/awareness is in your dr, you can totally eat peanuts and not be affected by it! but obviously you could try it and see before eating too much of it, though it shouldn’t affect you in your cr!

thinking about how narinder only remembers the versions of his siblings that he didn't maul. there's a pretty popular (with evidence, one could argue) theory/headcanon that the bishops had their crowns mask over/aid them with their disabilities. but in the lamb's cult, they wouldn't have their crowns anymore, and they'd have to learn how to deal with their disabilities the way mortals do.

im specifically thinking of narinder seeing leshy bumping into things, heket struggling to speak, kallamar needing to learn sign language, and shamura unable to remember most things at any given time, and realizing. "I did that. That's my fault. That's what I did that to them all that time ago."

and then, on the other end, each one of the siblings seeing/realizing that the way narinder's arms and hands shake, why he has "bad pain days", the reason why he can't really do any fine tuned detailed work with his hands the way the lamb's followers can, is because they did that to him. "We did that to him. He's in pain because of us."

all of them realizing, "I hurt you and you hurt me and nothing will ever be the same. But despite everything, I still love you."

and all of them are too scared to ask, "do you still love me?"

Hell's Belles and who Millie is in her relationships:

Hell’s Belles is light and cute, and the reaction I saw the most was people getting all heart-eyed over Sallie Mae, and she deserved all the love. But I think the short also gives us some real insights into Millie that people tend to overlook. And I think that’s relevant with Ghostfuckers coming up, where presumably (hopefully!) we'll learn more about her internal world and her friendship with Blitz. 

So what new information did we learn about our girl?

For one thing, it's clear that Millie and Sallie Mae are very close in age and their brothers are significantly younger. 

They ran things around the farm together and hung out all the time, probably throughout their childhoods. But I also have a hunch that Millie is the oldest- it’s just a hunch- no proof.

I think it’s because Sallie is so shaken up by her absence . . .

And also because of what we know about Millie's relationship with Moxxie. During most of the M&M centric arcs, she plays a supportive or protective role, rescuing her husband when he's in danger, comforting him when he's upset, and yes, giving him a reality check when he needs it.

In Unhappy Campers, we see that Millie believes her needs (to be supported in turn and celebrated for being her fantastic self) are neglected. A lot of youtube reactors were surprised, but I think it makes perfect sense.

This is a character with "eldest daughter syndrome," which means that she was raised to take on responsibility for others. She instinctively puts herself second and rarely thinks about it, until she realizes that her own needs are being neglected.

I think that even if Millie is the second-oldest, this still stands- I think she was the caretaker sibling, the most supportive, empathetic, and self-assured one. This is a good thing. Maybe she supported Sallie Mae through her transition. Maybe she made sure that the younger kids were taken care of and that all of the work around the farm was complete. I picture her doing all of this with the enthusiasm and joy that she brings to . . . you know . . . slaughtering dozens of enemies in one go.

I think we're seeing growth in Millie with regard to prioritizing her own needs in her relationships, even if a lot of that growth is happening in the background. In Hell's Belles, she tells Sallie Mae that their relationship is a priority without taking on all of the responsibility for that relationship herself.

So . . . we don't know much about how the friendship between Millie and Blitz started, but here's what I think based on what we know about their characters individually and the interactions we've seen.

Millie is super easygoing around Blitz and pretty tolerant of his quirky *cough- super invasive* behavior. She even plays into/encourages his sillier antics pretty often, and just generally seems to trust him as a leader/friend, and he admires her work in turn.

I think there's more to it. I think she's seen Blitz in some really dark places- did they meet in their early assassin days? Like, when Blitz was right out of his relationship with Verosika and reinventing himself?

I think that from what we know about the role Millie plays in her relationships, she was probably supportive at a time when Blitz really needed someone to be. (As for how this works with the timeline of when they each met Moxxie, maybe we'll find out!)

Anyway, I'm excited for Ghostfuckers and wish it weren't so far away. I like that it looks like there'll be some focus on Millie, and I hope we see her strengths on display (because that's always great) but also see some more of her depth. I don't think it's bad at all for her to be a caretaking/supportive friend, sister, and partner. But I guess my main message is- even though those are great things about her, she's more than that, so let's not overlook this awesome lady.

lifeguard!gf!ellie just looooooves pushing you into the water. and you absolutely hate it. so, in order to get payback, you decided to put her to work.

the storage closet door slammed closed and ellie's keys fumbled in and out of the knob, locking it.

"babe," she said, noticing you standing right next to the edge of the pool, i swear she sets me up for these! she thought, "ready to go," she calmly said whilst smirking up at you. you nodded, smiled, as she walked over. "cm're" she said, grabbing you by the waist, and pulling you into a kiss.

"ellieee..." you said, slightly embarrassed, her action coming out of nowhere and throwing you off a bit. that was until you did exactly what you expected to do. "AH!" you let out a little scream as her hands went from your waist to your stomach, pushing you into the deep end of the pool. and unlike the last 4 times, you didn't rust to get back up to the surface. putting on quite the persuading act, so you thought, that you had drowned. ellie had just dusted off her hands, proud of her work, to see- rather to not see you gasping for air, when all hell broke loose. she couldn't lose you, she couldn't. not only could she not lose you, but she also could not lose you at her own hands. she dove in extremely fast and immediately went to grab your body and rush you back to the surface. by this time you were having too much fun, and you wanted to keep the bit going, like those girls who call their friends saying their dead just to get their reactions.

"wake up, love, please." you could hear the cracks in her voice, she was trying not to cry, trying to hold it together for you. she then went to do the one thing lifeguard training had made her learn. cpr. she went to tilt your head and pinch your nose so she could breathe into your-

"ouch!" you squealed, all high-pitched. "let go of my nose els!" trying to get out from under her grasp, simultaneously laughing at her look of epiphany.

"you- you fucking asshole!" she punched your arm as you started to laugh non-stop. "i-i thought i lost you." she stuttered over her words, yes she was mad, but she was just so goddamn relieved you were okay she could barely stay mad. "don't," she said, beginning to laugh herself, "do that, again, please."

"as long as you don't push me in again," you said, grabbing a towel to dry the both of you off, then grabbing your bag to finally head out, "no promises."

hi mae, idk if you've talked about this before but how did you learn to lucid dream? did you use any specific methods?

this is such a good question and i love talking about lucid dreaming so here’s the journey to when i went lucid for the first time!

i’ve known about lucid dreaming since i was in middle school and was never able to do it so i just gave up. fast forward to my senior year of high school (about 2 years ago) i made some friends who lucid dreamt a lot and started to follow their advice.

when i can, i try to write down my dreams when i remember them, or at least talk to someone about it. another thing i did was reality checks every 1-2 hours for maybe a week or two before i went lucid. the reality checks i did included pushing on a table/wall, poking my hands, looking at a clock, and thinking to myself “i am not dreaming right now.”

after about a week or two of doing that i lucid dreamt for the first time! i was in my room looking at myself in my mirror and i had long hair (for context i had cut it to a pixie cut a couple months prior) and i pointed at myself and said out loud “i don’t have long hair, this is a dream.” and tried to shift from it! i’ve gotten very close with the lucid dream method, but have yet to shift with it.

from there, i’ve gone lucid from once again having long hair when it was short, recognizing a dream was just way too weird to be real, and most recently i went lucid because i recognized someone in my family that had recently passed was walking down the street.

i still do reality checks from time to time when i can remember, but for the most part just recognizing patterns in my dreams and being persistent has helped me! some good apps to help with dream journals, reality checks, etc. include lucidity and oniri! both should be free to use :)

i know some people use like wake back to sleep for both lucid dreaming and shifting but i never really used any methods other than doing reality checks and writing down my dreams so i’m not as knowledgeable on that
