Since October 21st of 2023 when I watched his first appearance in Alabasta, this man has been occupying my brain non-stop. So, in honor of the new year and the man's birthday, here is a collage of every single Ace, finished or not, that I drew in 2024

THAT WAS A JOKE!!! how could one enjoy life without knowing of Sawakita? one couldn’t!!!!!! my life was MISERABLE and DULL and LIKE HELL ON EARTH well…until i saw sawakita one day..! and oh how he changed my life<3 with perfect freckles like those they must be kisses from the heavens maybe stardust that fell onto his perfect porcelain skin when he was a young lad! with soft plush bad boyish hair like a river of charcoal he must’ve been bore by a volcano! with gleaming eyes filled with hope and pureness he must hold the whole universe in them!!! so of course after seeing such a majestic being i devoted my life to him!!!!

Maeko Shiratori my DCMK oc...My beloved...my baby...

I commissioned @dannydedoodles to draw her for me a while back and I'm now sharing her. She is me doing my part for the 'get Kaito more friends and allies that know he's KID' agenda.

She was trying to avoid the crowd at one of KID's heists when she accidentally ran into him in his all-black attire on an empty side street, recognized him, and blurted out his name. Catching a good look at his face and impulsively running after him when he tries to run away. A few days later, she finds out his actual name and identity because she was hanging out in Jii's bar when Jii greeted him after he walked in after class and once again said out loud that he was KID.

Hijinks ensue (when don't they?) and Maeko eventually secures a spot on the team as one of KID's assistants because she can get into smaller spaces and do more physical work than Jii can due to his age.

Maeko is a roughened black female teen, who lives with her mom in a rundown apartment building in the C-zone of the Unified Territories. She survives with her mechanical prosthetic which helps her manage her respiratory condition. To help the bills, Maeko is highly skilled in creating various machines for her customized orders, and is known as the best mechanic around in her precinct, despite her age.

❔wanna know her ? . . age; 15 years height; 5 feet and 11 inches body; lanky but fit fashion; rugged, edgy, distressed fabrics, mainly grey & blue, dystopian aesthetic personality; she's an INTJ-T and a 5w4. she's aloof, self-reliant, quiet, and work-focused. ethnicity; african & asian roots (ethnicity is complicated with my world-building)

Maeko (she/her)

The daughter of Ace and Yamato, born from a one night stand the day the two met.

Ace doesn't know about her at first

She's raised (and to the best of his ability, kept hidden from Kaido) on Onigashima by Yamato

Bonus third dad (Deuce)

In an Ace Lives AU:

Ace + Deuce join the Strawhats in Wano to help fight

He goes to Onigashima early to fetch his boyfriend, reunites with Yamato and is introduced to his daughter (now ~3ish)

He would freak tf out about this, sorry Ace

Ace worries about people finding out she's his and trying to kill her, too

He loves her so much but it's just generally very stressful (he never intended to have a kid in the first place)

Ace gifts her his red and white bracelet

In a canon compliant, Ace dies AU:

Luffy meets Yamato and Maeko during the raid on Onigashima, and can't believe this is Ace's daughter in front of him

Deuce is still there because I say he is, he's the one to gift her Ace's old red and white bracelet

Any version,

Everyone agrees they have to keep her heritage as secret as possible, for her safety (and also Yamato's, a bit)

Luffy and Sabo love their niece more than words, and would do anything for her

All of the Strawhats and the Akazaya get Aunt/Uncle titles

This little girl has the biggest, greatest found family once she gets away from Onigashima <3

She becomes fast friends with Momo despite being 5 years younger than him, and his new adult body doesn't phase her even a little- the only difference now is he can reach the sweets that Kin'emon puts up on a high shelf when he says she's had enough.
