You ever have something you wanna draw/make but you're not "good enough" and you don't wanna draw it again when you're better at what you do so it just never happens
but you also wanna make it so badly it's all you think about

how some people in this fandom treat noelle
[IMAGE ID: A poorly drawn three panel comic, parodying the Madoka Magica "CHRIST you are extremely fucking selfish, die" meme.
In the first Panel, Noelle looking happily off in the distance, where the red SOUL happens to be. is saying
"gosh, susie is so mysterious. i wonder what she's like! X) but, she bullies my friend :("
In the second panel, the red SOUL is depicted, emitting a menacing red and black aura, saying "CHRIST, you are extremely fucking selfish, die"
In the third panel, Noelle is looking towards the viewer with an innocent expression and her hands nervously together, saying "i am fifteen years old"

Round 3 of 8, Group 2 of 2
propaganda and summaries are under the cut (May include spoilers)
Community: 2.23 A Fistful of Paintballs / 2.24 For A Few Paintballs more
tw paintball guns and pretend death (?)
In a "spaghetti western" parody, Pierce tries to get revenge on the rest of the study group during this year's paintball tournament. / When the study group learns that there's a sinister plot behind the paintball tournament, they unite the remaining players to defeat the enemy.
community's paintball episodes are legendary by themselves, but i do feel like this one shows a lot of character development and a well thought out plot that involves every character and is still funny and easy enough to follow not to need a lot of concentration to watch it
Puella Magi Madoka Magica: 1.10 I Won't Rely On Anyone Anymore
The episode looks at an alternate timeline in which Homura is a shy transfer student who makes friends with the cheerful Madoka.

Knowing nothing but the bare minimum about Magical Girls, I went watching. A couple episodes of Sailor Moon. A couple of Pretty Cure. When Puella Magi⭐Madoka Magica got too intense, I went looking for something lighter, and having briefly acquainted myself with the batshit complexity that is Japanese pronouns I smelled something subversive when I spotted Mahou Shoujo: Ore.
"Ore" means "me (a dude)". Our (cis afab) protagonist contracts to be a "Magical Girl," and then finds her transformed body is a grown adult man. The better to fight demons, naturally.
Obviously, this is played for comedy. I don't know enough to know whether this is transphobic or trans-friendly or whether it wraps so far around the spectrum that it comes out the other side; it's a parody of multiple anime genres, and it's a beefcake show. Literally SO MUCH MUSCLES. Every Magical Girl and every demon is a ripped muscle dude lovingly rendered, heavage and panty shots included. WHO IS THIS SHOW FOR?
I haven't even gotten to the gore. There is so much gore that they pixelate everything. MOUNTAINS OF MANGLED MUSCLEMEN.
Saki winds up covered in blood every time she beats a pack of oiled-up muscular naked demons to death with her heartshaped magical beating stick. The yakuza sitting on top of the pile of pixelated demon corpses is her cute magical sidekick familiar.
Many shows have love triangles. This one has more of a love conga line, with everyone barking up the wrong tree. Besides the protagonist's parents, no-one's passion is returned in kind. They're in good company! Our protagonist Saki has the hots for her best friend's brother Mohiro who is so bland that he mostly communicates in grunts (helpfully subtitled). Mohiro is gay -- but he's enthralled by the mighty thews of Saki's Magical Girl form. Saki's friend Sakuyo is desperately in love with Saki, but this is no quietly pining lesbian: in order to transform into her own magical girl form and save Saki from a tentacle-beast, Sakuyo had to loudly and clearly declare that "I love Saki -- in a sexual way." Which makes their friendship awkward for much of the series, but they eventually get over it as Saki overcomes her own trust issues and Sakuyo accepts that even if her feelings are not returned, her love for Saki is a source of inner strength. Also, everyone seems to be morosexual.
Did I mention this is also something called an "idol show." Saki and Sakuyo are singers. They're terrible. But in their Magical Girl forms, they're smash-hits.
This is a fun show that parodies a lot of Japanese pop culture tropes. I'm sure if I were more educated I'd spot even more of them. The occasional raunchiness was always tongue-in-cheek and it had a pretty heartwarming conclusion.
