He is a megalomaniac that sees non-supes as inferior and worthless, he loves the love of crowds and people but he has never shown any respect or care for individual humans, hell, he killed madellyn because she kept secrets form him and felt betrayed even tho she was the closest human to him EVER IN HIS LIFE, do yall think he would care what a random woman working at vought (becca) felt or wanted? that he (even pre-show) killed and tortured criminals and inocent people a like just because he wanted to? or felt like it? or even just by accident?

He is complex, well written character and you can like him all you want, but he is still a monster.

I sit here today and wonder why I always seem to get people in my life who don’t care. I seem to only get the ones who see me as temporary, useful, or just not worth it and I always have to step away even when it hurts.

At first I felt relief when I walked away from Madellyn and Steven. At first I felt like I let go a lot of stress and I felt like I was moving forward towards something great. I have a wonderful boyfriend, I love him, and I moved in with him. We have a beautiful home and I’m so happy to be here. But it still hurts that Madellyn did what she did. I’m honestly quite hurt that after being friends for almost four years, living with one another for almost a year, and telling her more than I do most and she doesn’t value that. She was just bitter that I moved and it just so happened to be timed when they were up in Prescott. I left things in their home for them that are expensive to replace and to help them out, I didn’t need to. I offered to continue to pay my part of the rent for the rest of the lease because I made a commitment with her to live with her during that time. Then she turns around and treats me like a piece of garbage? Who is she to treat me like that when all I ever did was treat her with respect. I never disrespected her stuff like she did mine, I never treated her the was she is treating me, and I never thought she would.

I feel back to where I was with my mom. Betrayed, hurt, and sad because one again someone I loved and cared about turned their back on me and decided that I was nothing more to them than just a random person walking along the street. I was nothing more than the begger asking for money on a street corner, and definitely no more than a simple friend. Our memories wasted, our friendship ruined, and everything we have ever done down the drain because I wanted to live with my boyfriend.

I don’t understand why she is upset. I don’t understand why she is acting this way. I told her that I was taking what was mine and that I was moving while they were gone. If that was such an issue, they could have come down and gone through what they thought was theirs or wanted to keep. They could have had a more in depth conversation about their feelings, but no, I always had to do that.

I always had to put in that effort. I always had to be the one to ask to hang out. I had to be the one to ask to see her. I was the one who sent her everything we ever did. But now it’s nothing to her. I see now I was taken for granted. I feel more used than anything but I was definitely taken for granted. Like I would never leave, never stick up for myself, never acknowledge that what they were doing was wrong. 

What’s so wrong with me that I can never be valued for who I am? What I have to offer for those I love and care about. I will give me left arm for those that need it but she would never meet me halfway. Never.
