look yeah todds words are harsh in 2x07 but like he wasnt wrong
#like throughout the week he was peptalking dirk constantly#he was defending him when he got shitty at people#made excuses for him (tina asking if hes just dumb/rude- i def think tina doesnt like dirk much tbh)#saved his ass- 2x04 and he solved the wendimoor portal in 2x06 and got him away from priest#all the while getting dismissed by everyone#until farah in 2x06- agreeing to go to cardenas house#id get frustrated too!#i just think the 2x07 argument isnt supposed to be looked at through the lens of good/right and bad/wrong#if anything wendimoor characters having super obvious black/white heroes and villains#highlights how much more complicated the nonwendmoor characters are!#and despite all this he still had faith in dirk! but he was no longer in a position to help him cause dirk didnt want to be helped#thats not todds fault#dghda rewatch
